  1. I use my istick 60W most of the time with an Avocado RDTA, istick 40 or my eleaf pico with an iJust 2 or melo III tank. I also work in my Kangertech Dripbox at home in the evenings. I have a couple of SMPL unregulated mods and various odd tanks and RDA's. I have back ups of all my mods (2 total of each except the 40W) and extra batteries. Though I have to admit I've been looking at the new pico dripbox type thing that's coming out at the end of this month. I'm still building up a supply in case of the deeming getting out of control. I've also been building up my DYI stuff. Though I noticed that where I get my nicotine has taken it off their website so I'll have to track down another source. Money is tight but I'm building up as quickly as I can. I'm pretty much sticking with things I can rebuild and having spare glass and other parts just in case. I like the single 18650 battery mods because I can carry a spare battery or two when I'm out and about. I always carry 30ml of juice, extra coils for my tanks pre-built coils, mini screwdriver and cotton in a small altoids tin as a back up too.
  2. Hi, Yes, I tried it and it had a burnt taste...I poured it out and made some fresh and it tastes pretty good but I'm going to wait until it steeps another day or so. Thanks for all your help everyone. I can always count on you all for great advice
  3. Luckily it was only 15ml . I'm mad I wasted all the flavoring though ...It was already a dark juice (chocolate and caramel).... Doggone it! .I was just trying to find out what worked for me and I now know this method doesn't!!. I was excited because I got in a bunch of new flavors I wanted to try out and only have the weekend to get somethings done....Haste makes waste...I should have known better...UGH. I looked at the magnetic mixers and they're out of my price range for the time being... I will stick with the warm water in a bowl method... Thanks all you're terrific!
  4. Great sign! I'd bet the more it's posted the more people that will wake up people into getting hold of their congressmen to change things up The B&M's around here are still trying to get things worked out... I know one of my local B&M's is looking for ways to work within... but around the rules. Like offering juice tasting for a penny a session and having pennies on the counter by the register for people who don't have cash with them. It's ridiculous. I live in Texas and they are already very strict about under 18's. I know one or two shops are quietly getting rid of their stock to close when it gets too bad.
  5. Hey all, I might have goofed. I tried to speed steep my e-jiuce in the microwave (I read some people do it) and I got it too hot. (dog distracted me) Does anyone know if this ruins the juice? It had nicotine in it so I want to make sure I didn't change the chemical composition in a bad and or harmful way. Thanks for any help on this...
  6. Hi I usually use 70vg/30pg but occasionally will go 60vg/40pg depending on the flavor some need a better carrier. I hope you find what you like
  7. I use Vape Wild and like their juices I started making my own juices though recently and have had pretty good results. I can adjust it to taste which helps.
  8. Here it is: http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/2016/08/06/new-fda-regulations-may-snuff-out-e-cig-industry.html
  9. @BebopWhere did you get the stealth for $22.00? My daughter-in-law wants one for her b-day and that's a great price. The one at my local B&M is $45. and do they offer all the colors? Thanks!!
  10. Hi, They're right! I have learned the hard way that back ups are good. Good luck and congratulations on quitting smoking! Vaping was the only thing that worked for me. I quit a couple of months ago and I couldn't be happier. I like the mods that have changeable batteries because I just carry an extra or two in a case in my purse with an extra coil and a bottle of juice. so far so good. When I first quit I tried the "pencil/stick" type... I found that it didn't last long enough and that it ran out of power at the worst possible times. so I quickly switched. I'd take the eleaf 50 or something with a single 18650 where you can change it out before the pencil though. Everyone is different and the folks here have been a huge help though. Edna
  11. Sometimes eating something salty or spicy can also bring the flavor back...I'm not sure why. I noticed this after I went to a local Mexican joint and had some habenaro salsa (yummy) and had chicken green chile taco's ( I love hot foods) and I noticed after leaving my chocolate mint juice tasted really great..better than normal. It was like it reset my tastebuds. Tam's right though...drink lots it does help.
  12. Great idea! I have just been letting it sit for a week shaking it a couple times a day. It works but I would like a better solution. Thanks!
  13. I use and love Vape Wild juice and I received Dragon Warrior with my last order as a sample.... and it's pretty good what's strange though is the Vape Wild Company is from here in Texas not Florida.... Must be a B&M?
  14. I tried a different build and I have to say now it's perfect. Thanks all! Yummy I still think Black Knight's my favorite though
  15. @Foofightervapegirl Hi, I just started and it's a blast. I made a chocolate cherry cream that came out really well and a chocolate mint that came out tasting like a york pattie. I have a strawberry cream steeping now. The folks here have been awesome in answering my dumb questions Go for it!
  16. My favorites are VapeWild.com for pre-made juice and for DYI concentrated flavors is Central Vapor, and the flavor apprentice. It depends on what I'm looking for. Vape Wild has a great sample pack. Mount Baker Vapor also has some good samples to try as well. Good luck. Though, you might want to look at the Vapor Talk Store too. Their new line is really quite good and they also have a lot of BeKuali juices in their sale section. They are nice too
  17. @cany Patience is a virtue .... However, instant gratification ain't bad either
  18. I have 15ml going I can't wait to try it it smells so good!
  19. That or a phone app. I've been playing with hypothetical builds so I can get the hang of it. It's a great resource to have now that I'm understanding it more.
  20. @Bebop I'm so Sorry I didn't see this sooner! I blew it I've had that happen before and I just called them. Um, I know once I called them I never had the trouble again. I think it has to do with Texas ID laws. I let them know I was over 21 by quite a few years and they did everything for me right away. They're the nicest people. Shoot me a PM and I'll send you some of my juice so you can try it I have a lot of their samples. Doggone it....I'm so sorry...I forgot what a pain it was to sign up the first time I bought juice from them. It's really really good juice though and it was worth it....I feel so bad...
  21. @jasonculp Thanks for the link! I bookmarked it. It doesn't look too terribly confusing once I play with it for awhile to get the hang of it. I usually put my built deck on my istick 40 to see what it is reading, and for the numbers to plug into the calculator and to check the ohm meter. That way I get the numbers before I fire it on my mechanical mod to burn off everything. Then I re-check it again on both after. This is before I get it anywhere near my face. I try to triple check myself. No accidents for me.. If something isn't right I stop. I don't use my SMPL mech mod for anything other than builds really though I have tried a tugboat RDA on one once, it wasn't something I felt too safe with ... I use my eleaf 60W, Pico and Istick 40W mainly and occasionally my dripbox so they are all regulated. I'm Still a noobie and trying to be careful one Thanks for your help and patience !
  22. OOPS the Melo III is 2ml not 3 typo Sorry
  23. Oh I have one that someone gave me it's small, I forgot about it. You can rebuild it with the Cubis RBA kit too. Here's mine next to a ruler so you can see the size.
  24. Thanks for the moral support I'm just careful since it's new. I found an ohm coil calculator online and hopefully it'll help me get it right. It shows what the build should be. Also, I found another that is what the battery can handle. I think it'll be an asset as I'm learning. It's pretty straight forward Here's a link https://www.misthub.com/blogs/vape-tutorials/76788933-tutorial-ohms-law-and-vape-safety-calculator
  25. @FXRich @Bebop Sorry was running around today and haven't been able to get back online...yes, that's 22g stainless actually I had that one figure out for my Bellus RBA so I went with what I know and I only did a single build and just closed up some of the air holes ... I really like the Avocado and wanted to take it with me so I cheated a bit Good eye....It's 28g Nichrome... you're right I cheated and switched wires sorry I should have noted it
