  1. Thanks to the awesome new points system here, I got a nice deal on the Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 today. Good timing because my iStick seems to have gone a bit wonky. Sometimes it doesn't recognize atomizers, then it will - even if it's the same atomizer. I've been wanting to pick up the MVP for a while now and with the reward system it seemed like a perfect time. Thanks VT!
  2. Yep, that became painfully obvious! lol
  3. Yeah, gotta try to find one. I think they are the only SS in the area. And, I live in MA so I know how to pronounce Worcester, lol. But, that's about an hour drive. Like I said, I think she is just someone there to keep the lights on and sell stuff. The guy I met there once seemed to know his stuff.
  4. And brought my Stillare and Stingray...asking for some tips on the best way to set it up for use. The lady behind the counter was first amazed at the item I had in my had and even more amazed when I took the Stillare apart to show here the coils. She had never heard of dripping and no idea what the "thing" I had was even for. So, given up I just asked for some wire and she had no idea what that was, either. Hopefully the guy that owns the place knows and can talk shop.
  5. Whereas most up-and-coming alternative bands of the early '90s borrowed from the leaders of the pack (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, etc.), Blind Melon were an exception to the rule -- their roots lay in classic rock (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin). And while a promising career lay ahead of them, tragedy would ultimately end the band abruptly. The group came together in 1989 in Los Angeles, although all their respective members had migrated there from other U.S. locales (singer Shannon Hoon from Indiana; guitarist Christopher Thorn from Pennsylvania; and guitarist Rogers Stevens, bassist Brad Smith, and drummer Glenn Graham all hailed from Mississippi). The complete opposite of all the glossed-up glam metal that was permeating the Sunset Strip at the time, the quintet used a refreshing back-to-basics approach, both musically and visually (giving off a heavy retro vibe early on). The band considered several names -- Brown Cow, Mud Bird, Naked Pilgrims, and Head Train -- before agreeing on Blind Melon, a phrase that Smith's father would use to describe a couple of hippie neighbors from back home in Mississippi. Here is one of their last live performances on the Intimate, Interactive show from Canadian MTV network Before tragic death of singer Shannon Hoon.
  6. Also, jason, if you have any ads, I'd be more than happy to place them on my blog for no cost or desire for recompense. And you're always welcome to post a submission or two to my blog for publication.
  7. If interested, I'm always willing to do some writing. I have a blog but would be more than happy to contribute as much as I can...I know I'm not the most experienced or number crunching guy that might attract your more experienced used but I also believe those just starting out would like a friendly voice in the wild. I would like to see more zines/papers reach out to the noob and just starting out crowd for which I would be willing to help. Obviously, it being your paper and your baby...I'm willing to work with you, obviously, to create what you want. And anything I submit would be subject to your advice and editorial input.
  8. Her downfall means the uprising of the complete and utter loonball from MA, Elizabeth Warren..aka...Fauxcahontas.
  9. "At this point...what does it even matter????"
  10. I know it sounds strange, but I wonder if anyone makes this juice. I think Mustard and Salt Pretzel would be pretty unique, if possible.
  11. I may have to try that. I'm out of the Banana Bread but will get some on my next order. Right now, mixing his PBFB and his Birthday Cake is one hell of a collaboration!
  12. Idiotic pap for the sheep. They can't advertise cigarettes, so tear down the alternative. I would be very interested to know where the funding/sources for these smear articles come from.
  13. Agreed. Upload the picture and once it's finished it will automatically create the code you can use to post it here. My Stingray and the Stillare v3 RDA.
  14. Heya, I said this in another post before...but a lot of this anti-vaping propaganda seems to come from the greater Carolinas area. That's Big Tobacco country. I say this because, here in Mass, vaping is hardly ever in the news.
  15. 3.2-4.2v with sub-ohm... At $43 that thing rocks. My only draw back is that it seems huge, almost too big to hold on to.
  16. Do you guys think that a huge guy with dreads who keeps an exotic animal named Shiva will translate well into the TV world? Just asking...
  17. Taking a nap and waking up right at the perfect time of day when it's around, 6:15pm...not quite dark, not quite light... There's exists no panic in the world like spring-boarding out of bed wondering just what in the hell is going on....
  18. I disagree.... Clen is awesome and one of the few original members that has shown a great development arc. He's not done yet.
  19. Hey Rixter, do you have any extra copies of the character specials? I have stuff to trade if you are willing to help me out. I need to head out to the PO this week to send some stuff to Tug Speedboat...
  20. Yeah, Rick is really the ultimate bad-*** on the show. Leadership and the cajones to do what's needed, every single time.
  21. Tam just loves anyone that mentions, even in passing, NKOTB.
  22. I bet it must be awesome to see the origins of those characters. Origin stories are always, always awesome. But, as someone that's never seen Breaking Bad, I can tell folks that this show stands firmly on it's own legs. I watched the first 5 episodes of BB tonight just because it must be loaded with really cool characters. I just hope there aren't people refusing to tune in because they won't know the BB characters...but I can assure you the show stands on its own.... BTW, Jeff...did you see Fargo? I think Odenkirk was one of the best characters on that show...imo.
  23. Newhart was a genius. The true master of dry delivery.
