Great post Mr Smith! What was said is correct. I think this is why they are marketing it with the battery. It is sold separately, and that can cause a problem. If someone tries to throw it on an eGo it will not fire, the ohms are too low. If they put it on a sub ohm capable electronic box mod, it will work fine, and be safe (the box has built in circuitry to keep itself safe). The big problem comes when the newbie, goes out and buys the cheapest mechanical mod, with the cheapest batteries he can find and throws this tank on it. It could definitely lead to big problems. These problems could be nothing more than a loss of a little money with ruined parts, or could be as bad as an injury. Anything we do in this hobby that is unsafe, or perceived as unsafe can give the "powers that be" an opportunity to regulate our rights away.

I think the fear is the unknown. I just don't know where to go to get the answers. I live in Texas, and we are not known to have great programs. Everything I can find online you have to apply for to know if you qualify. The problem is if there is anything close to "disabled" that comes through Lowes, she will immediately be terminated, which would cause the insurance to cease...it is a catch 22. I wish she could get another job that would allow her to do less physical work, in a different environment with similar benefits. The three months of being without insurance could be prepared for and she could get away from crappy management. This may be difficult, she is 53 and in the workforce considered "unskilled" and limited due to her physical limitations. -

I feel for you. We are plagued with chronic conditions at our house, though not nearly as bad as others have. I am relatively healthy. I do have boughts of IBS, and anxiety. My wife on the other hand has severe RA, with Lupus. She is such a trooper, I don't know how she does it. Her rheumatologist and orthopedic surgeon have both demanded that she quit work and go on disability. We are at a point that we don't know what to do. Her job is the source for her insurance, and my work has such poor insurance adding her is not an option. Her medications, if paid out of pocket would total $60,000/year. That does not include the doctors visits. Her job is labor intensive, but she says she wants to keep working because the activity keeps her from hurting. Corporate policies, poor management, and HR issues have nearly forced her to quit. (Lowes Home Improvement at least at the local level SUCKS!) Her income is not very large, but it sure helps our budget (which is at it's limit). She could qualify for disability, but there is a two year delay before medicare would kick in. I am pretty sure that my income would disqualify us from any for of medicaid. We have let ourselves get far enough in debt that a large portion of my income goes to debt, and we live off of the remainder, and her income. We live comfortably, but, if we cut her income by 40% on disability and loose her prescription coverage, it would be impossible. All of this being said, our problems are minor compared to others, I don't know how they do it. Sorry, that went from being a reply, to being a rant... -
The MPV. It is a great setup. Mine is modified. It is a great rig, but a little limited. The MPV has been a workhorse the 3 problems it has is, the hard button push/locaction, the tall ego/510 sticking up, and the relatively low power output. The Vapor Talk store has a good deal on these,http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/innokin-itaste-mvp-2-0-brushed-black/ they last forever. I do think the new MPV20W is going to be an improvement. They fixed the ego/510 connection, and it will now put out 20 watts. According to the Innokin guy on Reddit, it is the exact same components, the same battery, body, switch, etc. The only thing changed is the upgraded processor, and the flush 510. I would still be using my MVP if it wasn't for the iStick. I get much more power, from a smaller package, that lasts all day, and is much more comfortable in my hand. The only down side to it (for me) is that big tanks don't look good on it.

Thanks for a great review! I think the gelato part made the whole review. If my jouney into RTA's doesn't work out I may have to pick one of these up! I am like you and just got my first big electronic mod. I have a couple of mechanicals, but the electronic gives you so many more options. I just got the IPV3 and did the 165 watt upgrade. I built a .23 ohm build of 26ga twisted just to see what 100 watts feels like. 100 watts wasn't as bad as I expected. 150 was getting a little hot. I could only take short drags, less than a second. 165 was even worse. I can never see myself using much over 50 watts. My All Day Vape tastes terrible in anything but tanks (Nautilus). My dripping juices are good, but I only like them sparingly. I am sick of it tonight, running it in my Billow, and My RDA. I may not touch it for a week.

What Type Of Music Do You Listen To Mostly
jasonculp replied to Derrek's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
I take serious offense to that statement! Metallica never sucked! I am just kidding (I don't get offended over music, or much else for that matter)... being a total Metallica fan, 1983-1986 they were awesome, 1987-1994 they were pretty awsome, 1995-2001 they were kinda awesome, 2002-Present they are barley awesome....lol I still keep them in the mix, but I listen to much more Machine Head, Slipknot, Hatebreed, and Lamb of God. I think it is funny, the older I get I listen to less and less music. On normal days when I am driving I only get about 30 minutes of music and 4 - 5 hours of Audio Books, or Science based podcasts. -
Bump when you get something in vape mail.

Dang, I hate that for you! In the small town I live in we only have Post Office boxes if you are in the city limits. So most times you might have to wait a day or two to pick up a package. A couple of years ago my wife bought a set of luggage that was out of stock. She prepaid it shipped. When the credit card bill came in I called and asked where it was. They had a USPS tracking number that showed delivered to my address (a small PO box) I asked the postmaster (at the time) and she said it was picked up. Visa said I had no recourse. I still wonder what happened to that luggage... -
I may try it out. Thanks!

I love my mini. It is my all day rig (with my iStick). My only gripe is that I need a little more tank. I fill it twice, possibly three times a day.

That's another channel that she watches. (I watch it with her) I take naps frequently. I am a salesman, and I may drive 200 miles before 8:00 and 200 more after 5:00. If I start getting tired, I pull off and catch a 15 minute nap. If I am not taking a purchasing agent out to lunch, I've been known to grab a drive through burger and sit in a rest area and grab 45 minutes. -
How do you like the Delta 19? How much juice does it hold. I have been thinking about one of those. I really like the looks!
-
I hope you are right. I have been following some other threads on the web and many people are having problems with them. This is my first RTA so I really don't know what to expect. I have not even ran a tank through it yet. I need to go recoil it to use my normal juice through it. I may do it in a bit.

Metal. You might be able to guess who my favorite band is from my avatar. I listen to all of it from Hair Metal and heavier. If you have XM, my favorite channels are Ozzy's Boneyard, Faction, Hair Nation, Octane, and Liquid Metal. -
I finally got it in and built it today. I put a more RDA type setup in it. It has a .4 ohm dual coil twisted 28 gauge build in it. It is hitting just like an RDA. I love the airflow, except it whistles. I can set the IPV on 30 watts and fill up a room in nothing flat. This really wasn't my plans for this rig. I have some tiger wire and coils on the way and hope to get it down in the 1.5 ohm range and vape my ADV in it instead of the dripping juice that I am using in it. I may build it again tonight, but I am a little scared to run the higher PG juice in it. The reading I have been doing says this tank can be a leaker.

I prefer square/rectangle mods. Here are the electronic boxes around my chair this evening: The one in front is a Itaze VV with a Nautilus Mini Left is an iStick with a Nautilus Mini Middle is an MPV with a Nautilus Right is an IPV3 with a Billow RTA on it. The rig on the right is getting close to it. I am running a .4 ohm twisted 28ga dual coil set up on it. It is hitting as hard, if not harder than my 454 Big Block RDA.

Sorry, by disposable, I meant that it without a lot of technical skill when it quits you throw it away. I was also talking about the iStick, not the Vision Spinner 2. I really don't have any experience with the spinner at all. I just know most people that have them love them.

I have been doing it all afternoon. My football season was over last week. My wife has been watching the Lifetime channel, and Forensic Files to make sure she gets away with my future murder (J/K). I have been drifting in and out of a nap all day! -
It really depends on what you are looking for. The spinner is a great battery. My suggestions: Cheap and Tiny, Super Small, Disposable, VV and VW: The iStick http://vapenw.com/ego-variable/istick-by-eleaf This is what I use as a daily rig with a Nautilus Mini. I have two setups that I rotate daily. Next step up I would look at the MPV20W. I don't think they are on sale yet, but these things are bullet proof. I assume this new version will be as well. Next would be the Vapor Shark DNA30: http://www.vaporshark.com/advanced/mechs-mods/dna-buy-now Last I would look at the IPV3: http://sweet-vapes.com/apvs/pioneer4you/ipv-v3-150-watt.html This thing is huge. With the 165watt upgrade and dual 18650's it has power to spare. I have one, but don't see it getting nearly as much use as my iSticks! I guess it really depends on where you want to go. Like Bebop said if you want to stick with the ego style, some of the smaller ego's can be very pocket friendly. If you want to step up to variable wattage, electronic boxes, check out the stuff above. Just like juice, APV's are totally subjective. I love box mods. I gave away all of my ego style. I have a buddy that will only use ego style batteries and thinks I crazy for buying boxes! I thinks the next big step for me is a REO. http://www.reosmods.com/

Looks right at home! I really miss the the more affectionate cat that we had. He was a very old tom, and he had been through many battles. His tail was no longer flexible, only at the base, and the tip. His ears were gnawed down quite a bit. We adopted him from a family member. He was so smart, you could tell you not to get on a piece of furniture once and he wouldn't do it again. He would also sit at your feet and meow, as if to ask to get in your lap. If you patted your leg he would jump in your lap. If you didn't, he would go about his business. We finally had to put him to sleep a couple of years ago, it was tough. My wife is ready for another, but I am not. -
I like it. Here is the instructions I used: http://imgur.com/a/rsSKu I did it a little different though, I didn't clip the wires, in step 4 I unsoldered them. I also used a drill to drill the top off of the rivet. In step 6, I used a 9.5mm drill bit and drilled the hole out. I also used a M10x.5 tap to tap it out. After I test fitted the new 510, i removed it and soldered the gray wire back to the top cap. Then I slid the retainer on the white wire, then the spring, then soldered the center pin to the white wire. Reassembling the the 510 connector inside the tube of the MVP was one of the trickiest parts. I also put a small drop of blue loctite on the top most few threads of the 510 before I assembled it. If y'all get ready to do it and have any questions let me know. I wasn't too difficult. I really wanted to try this to see if I had the patients to do a complete mod build (assembly) I want to use the Hana style enclosures on FastTech and put good buttons and a genuine DNA30 in it.

Thanks joejoevapekill! BDM53ENT, I just replaced the standard 510 with a spring loaded recessed one that I got here: http://www.varitube.com/510-Connector--Self-adjusting-Center-Pin--14mm-22mm-285mm_p_141.html I am like you though. I use my iSticks and my nautilus mini's most of the time. I bought a new Billow RTA and was going to run it on the MPV. Then I twisted off for Black Friday/Cyber Monday and got a IPV3, so the MPV will now go back to my glovebox back up.

I was raised a cat person. I have had them all of my life. They are really simple, like Tameiki said. Ours has a box, a bowl of water, and a bowl of dry food. We would never know that she was in the house if it wasn't for the cat box... She isn't a normal cat. She is half Manx and Maine coon she is virtually wild. She stays outdoors most of the time, and she only comes around about once a week to be pet. She shows little to no affection, and has been that way since we got her 13 years ago. I have had many strays, and they always seem to be better pets. My mom has had 4 registered cats in the last few years, and I have had 2 of the "special breed" cats and they are all crazy...IMO. Comp is right about the laser pointer, they go nuts, and have a blast! We are down to 2 pets, a 10+ year old boxer, and the 13 year old cat. I have a No Pet Replacement Policy. I just don't think my wife does... -
I know it isn't much, but I finally got the stuff to replace the 510 on my MPV. Overall it wasn't too difficult, except re soldering the wire to the top cap. I wish I had taken pictures of the modification, but I didn't. It was fun and only took about an hour, well it really took 2 but an hour of that was finding my tools.

I kept digging on innokin's reddit and they are saying $60 MSRP. They have a small gallery http://imgur.com/a/hNOKg#FKGr7vB and it looks exactly like the MPV2 except for the paint job and the 510 connection.
