jerryjoe got a reaction from Mtdobies in Obsessed?
While I was offshore in two days I bought:
(1) vision 1300 mah spinner
(1) vision 1600 mah spinner
(1) Aerotank
(1) Aerotank mini
(1) Davide mini
(1) Aspire BDC glass ET-S
(1) Nautilus tank
(1) haka twist eGo
(2) 2500 mah 186500 batteries
(1) battery charger for 186500's
(1) charger for the eGo's
(1) Sigelei ZMAX5
(4) Low resistance 1.5 ohm long barrel sealed bridgeless atomizers
(1) drip tip
(1) drip shield
(1) 510-510 adapter
About 150 - 200 mls of liquid, 10 coils for all the tanks and a lanyard
And the funny thing is when that buying spree was done I had the sneaking feeling that I had forgot something.

Let me know if you need some ready to vape juice to tide you over until you can get to a store, I have a couple I could drop in the mail in the morning and should get them before the weekend.
Just message me if you need it. Others have been kind to me and I'll pay it forward whenever I get the chance
Your online juice may be on the way already and get there before mine would anyway, but the offer's here if you need it.

If I am going to mess with a zombie, I definitely want plenty of vaping supplies. Who knows, maybe I could convert them?

jerryjoe got a reaction from juicinjasmine1993 in E-Cigs vs. E-Liquid
I paid over $100 more than two years ago for a cigalike kit with charger/case two batteries and about 10 or 20 cartridges. Didn't make it through three cartridges. It was that bad. Like it was already mentioned, about the only advantage of the look alike was it's small size and look of an analog. That would be good if you were trying to make peoplke think you were smoking a real cigarette, imo. Don't know why anyone would want to do that. As for me I LIKE walking about town with my eGo. I'm sure I'll like it with my spinner too. Not sure I'll be lugging around the ZMAX lol. I want people to come up to me and ask me what I have. What is that? What does it do? You mean it's not tobacco? Where does that smoke come from (ah, glad you asked ma'am, but that isn't smoke it's vapor).

Thanks Comp. Good thing I have excellent US E-Liquid vendors like Fadora Vapor

jerryjoe got a reaction from Mtdobies in Question about oversea shipping
I've read the threads about how long it takes to receive goods from fastech. And I've read that ordering batteries can hold up shippment from getting through customs. I figure the best way around that problem is to order batteries from within the US.
My question is if there is anything else I can order from fastech that will cause a shipment to be held up or not shipped at all?

jerryjoe got a reaction from Mtdobies in Do I need to start stockpiling?
Thanks for that link. It was a very interesting vlog. I need some time to process that information. I also need some time to do more research. I will get back to this topic once I have more facts. Thanks Compenstine.

jerryjoe got a reaction from Mtdobies in Hi I'm new here
I started the same way too. Using ego style setup right now but moving up to either an APV or mechanical mod in a week or so. Been off analogs for a month now. Glad your here.

Thanks for the help both of you. I'm really enjoying this forum. Lots of answers and understanding for the new people who are trying to do things the right way from square one.

Found a site and some nice, helpful people in Mesa AZ. Took Tam's advice and slowed it down a notch (i.e. decided against the mechanical mod for right now). This is what I bought earlier today

They were out of stock on the mini davide and the mini aerotank so I'm gonna get those somewhere else. Probably get full size aerotank too. Missy, who I spoke to for about 45 min earlier today said the Haka twist batteries, although only 1500 mah, are built sturdier than the vision and the word from customers is that they are lasting a long time. Similarly the samsung batteries are getting better reviews from her customers than the AW's so I gave them a try too.
Gonna go look for some different tanks and get the ball rolling on some juice.
I'll let you guys know when I get some more stuff!!!

jerryjoe got a reaction from Mtdobies in not as easy as it sounded
I read some of the threads about removing the silica wicks and replacing them with cotton for a faster absorbing wick. I thought maybe I'd get some practice in before I got my hands on the high vg liquid I'm getting next week.
Wow....it sounded pretty straight forward from what I read. I unwound the coil from the silica a replaced it with some cotton from off the end of my q-tips (my cotton supply is very limited here offshore). everything seemed cool up to the point where I began to re-wind the coil and tried making it look like it did before I began my little operation. It looked somewhat passable at best. getting in back in the shaft was another story all together.
Obviously I did something wrong because after I replaced my rig job the sucker wouldn't fire at all. I'm guessing the posts at the end of the wrapping weren't touching the right spots, thus not making the proper electrical loop.
Whatever the case my bravado concerning wick replacement has been knocked down a peg or two. I'm not saying I'll never try it again but I certainly put myself in a tight spot as I rendered one of my remaining two replacement coils useless. One coil left...one week til I hit land. Should be okay but I wish I hadn't put myself so close to the edge. Oh well, live and learn right?
