I am a nurse. Been one for over 40 years. The bulk of my career has been working with senior citizens in a nursing home/assisted living facility. I have worked in many of them. some good, some not so good and a couple that were absolute hell holes (didn't stay in those very long). The one I'm at now (and have been for almost 3 years) is one of the very best in our area. I dearly love "my" residents as do most of my co-workers.
The hubby works in housekeeping in a local hospital.

Thank you everyone. I'm looking forward to another year of no smoke!
I am amazed how much better I feel. My doctor was overjoyed that I finally dropped the coffin nails. He said my lungs haven't sounded that good in years! When I told him how I did it, he said he's had several patients that successfully stopped smoking the same way and "it's obvious to me that it works".
Now if I can just drop the extra pounds I'll be happy, happy, happy!!

Made it to the 1 year mark! Today it is one year that I started vaping and got off the stinkies! Just had to share!

I have learned so much from all of you and have a acquired several new "tools" to help me make this a success. The first year in over 30 years I haven't smoked. 
Here's to year 2!!

Got my ZMax5 and hollowed out Nautilus tank the other day!

I love my Nautilus tanks. I haven't had the gurling/spitting with either of them, I use the 1.8 BDC in them. Haven't tried the BVC.

Smoked over 30 years. QUIT several times. Now I've STOPPED. Quitting has such a connotation of failure to me, stopping sounds more like a choice. I made the choice to STOP smoking. Been vaping almost a year, wouldn't go back to stinkies. Nope.

Tam, can you overnight some of that good stuff? LOL Seriously, we are holing up here in NE Ohio. Supposed to get 8 (maybe more) inches of the white stuff from tomorrow into Monday morning. Not sure if we'll be watching the game or not.

I have a dear, dear friend who is like the daughter I don't have (I have a son who isn't married and doesn't have kids). She has a 21 mo. old and 2 1/2 week old daughter so I get to be "Grammy". Those little girls are love personified!

I have 2 iSticks. They are OK, but they do frustrate me with the center pin getting pushed down so easily.

So many choices! I will soon reach my 1 year "vape-aversary" and plan to "reward" myself with something new. I'm looking at a new VV/VW device (and a couple other things) and there are so many to choose from! I'm not planning on 'splurging' on another Provari (though I really like mine).
I've narrowed it to:
1/ Sigelei ZMax 5
2/ Innokin SVD
I've read that many users have issues with the fire button on the SVD so I'm leaning toward the ZMax5. Do you good folks have any words of wisdom or experience regarding these 2?

Errands done. Fixin' some lunch.. We are getting snow, snow, snow! Wind too. Projected lows for tonight -5 with windchills of -25 to -30. Staying inside and vaping!
