  1. So I'm guessing you guys carry national brand juice? You mean, it's a TARDIS? BTW, ya'll just need to come to Illinois.
  2. That's one of the Vision Xfire VV models, isn't it? And where did you get it from?
  3. Chants louder.... Vapor TALK....Vapor TALK......Vapor TALK
  4. Oh, okay, that's where I got the dram from. Anyway, I went to edit my post, and took too long so it wouldn't let me save the addition: Anyway, it SMELLED heavenly. And now I want some, have to figure out if I can swing an order. It was enough I went to a local B&M and blew $8 on what I assumed was similar (the name Cinnamon Sticks), they didn't have a sample out, and I get it home, and nope, it's identical to their Cinnamon Red Hots flavor......which is ALMOST identical to Inferno flavor that they carry - maybe each has a differing amount of heat. Now I have KPT2 mini that I tried it in soaking in vodka to get the smell/flavor of 20 minutes with that juice in it now has clinging to it. I'll have more to say in another thread about another flavor I tried, and a flavor that I liked prior to Sunday, and how it tasted to me today.
  5. I thought I remembered on the Fadora forums that you said the sample size bottle was 3 drams, or something like that. Looking at your website, it's 4 ml, though, right?
  6. Scary low is right. The cheapest places I've seen non-sale prices for 120 ml is around $30. But $4.99 shipping isn't bad. But still, I would wonder about the quality of the ingredients at that price, and why did they hold the sale open so long if they were getting slammed so hard they couldn't keep up?
  7. Okay, I think two qualify for this.....the worst ones to date (even including spilling 555 all over my mouse pad). First, I had a seizure Sunday, as I posted. Well, when the seizure started, I was filling up my RY4 tank. Since I had gotten a 120 ml bottle, I keep 30 mls at a time in a glass bottle. I don't remember how much was in there. But the tank wasn't empty, I know that. This is one of the rare occasions where I remember just about up until the seizure, because I can remember starting to fill the juice, or at least reaching for the bottle. Anywho, that's when I had my seizure Sunday. Of course, all the juice spilled out of KPT2, and of course, I knocked the bottle that had the juice in it over - I think about 20 mls got spilled, maybe? Dust bunnies and crap not just on the opening of the bottle, but INSIDE the bottle, too. So in addition to trying to get me situated, trying to control the dog, my SO had clean up my spill, all, like, with a quickness, so the dog didn't get the juice. Second, a derp incident from last night, that I discovered this morning, much to my chagrin. I had my Apple Cider and my sample of Cinnamon Stick from Fadora Vapors in my cabinet steeping, with the tops off. Well, that is also my medicine cabinet. Evidently, when I grabbed my Naprosyn last night (something I rarely take), I knocked over the Cinnamon Stick sample. I got into my cabinet to take my meds, and was greeted not only by the smell of cinnamon sugar, but the sight of, what is it, Comp, 3 drams of juice spilled all over the floor of my cabinet. It had to have happened last night, because not a drop was left in the bottle.
  8. Are you dead set on getting a tank different than the ones you already have? If it were me, and granted, you aren't, I would pick out my favorite, and get that. The KPT2s you can get in a variety of glass shades (although some look INCREDIBLY similar once you get juice in them and you may still have to resort to different drip tips). The Davide, I THINK is worn down more than it was loose when I purchased it (you can simply lift the drip tip out with no resistance, whereas, if you put the same drip tip on another tank, it's nice and snug, but I'm having trouble keeping my original drip tip in place 6 months out - after market 510 drip tips fit BETTER, but not great, and not all of them (510s). That will probably keep me from buying another Davide, and sticking with KPT2, although I have two iClear 30 tanks that I'm not using because I'm not fond of top coils, and when I tried it out before, it wasn't as good of a vape as my glass tanks (pretty sure the iClears are poly). I also have an iClear 30 S that came with my VTR that I'm hesitant to try out for two reasons - I tried the Aspire dc glass tank, and I wasn't fond of the flavor I got with it, and the vape seemed too warm; and 2) the replacement costs of just the regular iClear 30 coils are twice that of Kanger coils, I haven't even checked out the replacement cost on the iClear 30 S, which I assume to be more because it's dual coil, and seems to be encased in metal (the coil/wick assembly).
  9. Son of a ***** (can I say whor* without it getting filtered by the profanity filter)! Time sneaks up on you. I know what I WANT to get him. I want to get him, what is it, Rocksmith....but with an $80 price tag, I don't know if he'll let me get him that. Also probably getting him another RBA, Kayfun 3.1 clone, I think. I'm hoping we can go to dinner as well, because, well, we don't get to do that that often. Milk bones? You mean the dog cookies? Our furbaby gets those every day. But we have a butt ton of stockpiled various treats, because my in-laws' mini dachshund is evidently very picky, and so they send what Buttons won't eat over to us for Dodger. What amazes me is that evidently twice now, they've gotten her the same chicken jerky strips......same brand, same everything..... at least twice now. They just forgot that Buttons won't eat them. If I were them, and my dog turned his nose up at certain treats, I would keep a running list. Well, suffice it to say, we have a lot stockpiled, because we don't do treats that often except his after dinner cookies, which are considered part of dinner, and his bedtime rawhide chewie squares (which reminds me, we need to pick up more of those). Troy, this May will be our 20th Anniversary. But we don't have as much time before hand as you - we were "only" together three years before we got married, from when I was something like a month shy of 17th birthday, to when I was 20, a couple of months after my birthday. I would like some chocolates, though. Oh, and the Kayfun or Russian 91 clone (depending on which I decide on).
  10. I learned a long time ago, when my sister's BFF at the time married an OTR driver right out of high school, about how to be careful around trucks. That time we were in the accident, we were only still beside the truck because we couldn't go forward any farther. As it is now, we don't get beside trucks unless we know we can get past them, unless the on ramp dumps us next to the truck. It's not an experience we want to have ever again. I think we all try to let someone in ahead of us in those situations. Those people are just pricks that do that. Hey, it's the law, finally, in Illinois. Doesn't mean you are less distracted even when it's hands free - studies show you are still just as impaired using a hands free device as while you are holding the phone - which is as impaired as a drunk driver.
  11. Wow, the thought of choosing, though..... But I REALLY want one.
  12. Well, a few reasons: ^ This, and I drip mostly to taste test. When I get samples, I drip them at various points along the steeping process to see if they've matured yet, and then I decide if, based on what I've tasted, if I want to tank the flavor up and sample it more long term, or if it's an automatic pitch after a few tasting sessions (you wouldn't BELIEVE the nasty tasting honey flavors I've gotten, it can't be THAT hard to get right, but so far only one place has, at least to me).
  13. The max I get out of a tank I hit frequently, like a near all day vape, or whatever, the most I've gotten has been 10 days on a stock coil. Which is why I'm getting one RBA, for my most vaped juice - or what was my most vaped juice before my taste got all screwed up before my seizure. It'll straighten out in a couple of weeks.
  14. Or take out a PO Box for that one purchase, lol.
  15. Well, it's definite. I'm absolutely having taste issues again. My 555, which was mostly my adv, has been barely vaped. It tastes too different. Some other frequently vaped juices are barely getting touched. The good thing is, I've found a taste again for 618, my original adv, and one I've hardly touched since getting a 50 ml bottle in December. Certainly not actually vaped for more than five minutes in this past month. My shrink discontinued two of my meds despite the seizure, and somehow that's raised my blood pressure high enough that it freaked me out today, and I'm sure that's not helping (does bp affect vape taste?). If the bp isn't doing it, the accompanying headaches might be. Pisses me off, frankly.
  16. Didn't post yesterday because I've felt like ca-ca for various reasons, including not sleeping at night, and napping during the day in fits and starts, and high blood pressure for other reasons. Anyway yesterday was the first day of my double vape days. Yesterday was Fadora Vapor day, with Apple Cider, 30 mls, and a sample of cinnamon stick. Today was Vapor Talk Store day, with a total of 30 mls each of Caramel and Crumble Cake, and 15 mls of Poppin' Pineapple. Yay!
  17. Well, to both of you, but especially Rob, I think, a lot of people on the roads remember the "heyday" of truckers running the roads, using the CBs to avoid speed traps, or warn others of cops sitting in wait for speeders. I remember a former boss of mine, about 19 years ago now, telling me at one point in time he was a state trooper. He was doing a speed trap on the side of a highway, and convoy of trucks came by, tailed by a chase car. I can't remember how fast he said they were going (I heard this story 19 years ago, after all), but they all automatically pulled over because the "chase" car saw my boss put on his state trooper hat before he pulled out with lights and sirens, and just radio'd the whole convoy to pull their butts over. But I certainly remember, even with my mom's lead foot, semis flying by us on our trips to Jefferson City when I was a little girl. Was wondering what was different since trucks aren't flying down the interstate anymore, and frankly, we just stay the heck away from them anyway. Too many blind spots, and we got slammed into by a semi truck several years back (on the way to a funeral, no less) because the driver evidently didn't see us, even though we were literally next to the door. But I guess car level in a semi that WOULD be a blind spot.
  18. MOST of our families are very supportive, and positive about it. Well, my Dad is non-committal, but that's because his doctors want him to switch to it over analogs, and he's not ready to put the analogs down (and frankly, at his age, I mean, he just turned 69, I have doubts that he'd make the switch anyway), but he does think it's good that I've put down the analogs. It's just these two family members.....not saying who.....and I'm not sure if she was even quoting "experts", or her husband (who has expressed a similar view previously, that if you replace the act of smoking with hand to mouth inhaling of anything, you haven't quit anything). She said, "you know they say", but um, where is she getting her info from?
  19. That's the thing. "In any other game...." But it wasn't. It certainly didn't LOOK like the best offensive line and the best defensive line were meeting up in the Super Bowl.
  20. Congrats, sorta local girl!
