  1. Yeah, I'm pretty sure 8.5 volts would down any of the commercially available coils that out there, wouldn't they?
  2. I've seen something similar to this, it's linked somewhere on the forums.....
  3. That must make it difficult in states like Missouri where the speed limit gets up to 70 mph.
  4. Since my taste buds seem all twist turned upside down again, I'm working on my Irish Cream from Alt Cig. I tried dripping the Irish Cream sample I have from EC Blends (should have done that before now, when I'm almost out of Irish Cream), but I wasn't getting good feel for it. Well, it seemed like the Boge atty wasn't performing right. I guess I'll have to tank it to see how it performs. And then, if I get that over the Alt Cig brand, do the hot water steeping method.
  5. A family member told me that she HEARD that "experts" are saying if you've switched over to e-cigs, it's a different device, but you are still essentially still smoking. So I pointed out some of the differences. Not that it's going to make much difference to her.
  6. I agree that it looked like Denver didn't even bother to show up. One thing, once I heard about it today, did strike me. Sherman, the one who got us all riled up and made instant Broncos fans everywhere, hurt his ankle in the game. After the game ended, Peyton Manning sought him out - he was back in street clothes, brace type shoe thing on his foot on crutches - and commiserated with him about the injury, and double checked to make sure he was okay. Because, you know, if anyone knows about injuries and football, it's Manning. And Manning became the first Quarterback to go to the Super Bowl with two different teams. Not that he did much while there, but, he did it.....
  7. Thanks. So far, I haven't tried that many flavors - but this morning, somehow, I put 618 into my RY4 - a tank that was bone dry after my seizure because it got spilled, and so somehow I had two juices in it this morning. But I was rushed this morning, couldn't tell much by looking at it, and I wasn't really fully AWAKE at the time. Some of the flavors I've tried tonight DO taste different, a couple not quite right, but I can at least STILL taste them. I go back over to the in-laws' house tomorrow from around 11 - 3:30, while my SO is at school. Just to be safe. I hope tomorrow's the last day of it, frankly. They have one piece of furniture that's comfortable to me, but my mother in law screwed up her back in an injury enough that she has to have surgery, so she automatically gets it and the heating pad.....and from the muscles spasming up, tighter than they would normally be capable of, my muscles, especially around my upper spine, are SCREAMING.
  8. So, last night, I had yet another seizure. First one in two months, though, thankfully. My taste bud issues may be back, but I'm not positive. Last night, the only tasted, I think, two flavors after the seizure, but couldn't REALLY distinguish between the two, and I hope I got the tank fill right, with the right juice. Didn't have time to try any other flavors this morning, and then today, because my SO didn't want me to be alone today in case I have another seizure (BTW, neuro called me and increased one of my meds by 100 mg - 1 pill), I'm at my in-laws' until he gets home. Mother-in-law has severe, disabling asthma. Just the smell, yes, the smell, of even vaping will set her lungs off, so I'm taking "vape breaks" outside, and we were gone for almost three hours, so not much vaping time, but I MAY be having trouble tasting my 555 already. I don't know. I haven't tried any other juices. A sad note: I was going to take my sis out to get her tanks and juices today, but I can't. Well, have to put that off now, hopefully will be able to find another day this week. Don't want her to have to spend more money than she has to on analogs.
  9. I can see I'm going to have to start haunting goodwill and the second hand shops. I can't take up valuable bookshelf space (plus, that's pretty much in a direct ray of sunlight, even with the blinds closed), but if I hang it on my wall next to my desk, the house next door to ours is close enough we don't get sun through that window. But well, then you have the issue of tremors, klutzy me knocking crap off when I go to reach for one thing....maybe for juice bottles? I dunno. I must think.
  10. ^^ What she said. Some put analogs down immediately, some of us didn't. I still smoked analogs for ten days, until I got over the emotional situation I was in, until we finished our supply, and when I was ready to say, "Okay, the vape tastes better, I don't want any more analogs." With that being said, I did have two slip up dates, one in early August, and the last one August 14th. Yeah, hearing your kids say something like that would tend to put it into perspective. I got used to hearing my kids ask why we COULDN'T quit, and explaining that it's not that easy, it's one of the hardest LEGAL addictions there is to break, and a dirty, nasty habit that I hoped they didn't ever do. They were so disgusted by smoking that they never tried it. I can say for sure my oldest won't, for varying reasons, but I guess my youngest isn't out of the "age bracket", as he's 17, and he still expresses intense dislike for anything resembling cigarettes. They both even STILL, 6 months later, call the vapor, smoke. One, because it looks like smoke, and the other, because he THINKS it smells like smoke.....but it doesn't, and he's only here 24 hours out of the week except when college is on break.
  11. Shouldn't. I mean, they don't test you for nicotine, as nicotine isn't illegal, but I would ask with someone official, just to be safe.
  12. Went ahead ordered my 30 ml apple cider from Fadora rather than waiting for discount codes to be fixed. Then ordered a total of 30 ml of Grandma's Original Caramel and Crumble Cream, and 15 ml of Poppin' Pineapple from the VT store.
  13. Okay, all, thank you for your advice thus far. I have another question. What about Phoenix type RBAs. I'm not....educated enough to be able to tell by the pictures of the pieces what type it is. Is it the type that I need/want? I'll be honest, one of the attractions to this is the cost, and you can get pre-built coils specifically for this RBA. http://www.smoktek.com/Phoenix-style-rebuildable-atomizer_p_440.html
  14. Well, the news tonight said no, it's definitely not big enough for a stadium (I mean, that's what I thought - the size of a Wal-Mart + the accompanying strip mall in no way compares to the footprint of the Edward Jones Dome. There is double speculation in St. Louis tonight. Since it was purchased through his real estate holding company, either it's going to be used for one of his real estate/strip mall ventures, or he bought it hoping it would "scare" the Convention and Visitor's Bureau into paying for $7 million in improvements to the Dome. Granted, Rams' attendance numbers are down GREATLY, mostly because they haven't had a winning season in so long. Over last 10 years (I think that's the entire time the Rams have been here), their record is 57 games BELOW 500, and that's including the two seasons they made it into the Super Bowl where Kurt Warner was on fire all season long. Attendance isn't down because of the condition of the stadium, it's down because of the "product". The fact of the matter is, the Kroenke's are worth a couple of BILLION dollars in their own right - not sure how much the Rams are actually worth. But they have a publicly financed Dome (which the taxpayers of the City of St. Louis still owe $100 million on out of the couple of billion in bonds taken out), and they get a couple of million in goods and services - like all the things private business owners have to pay for, such as trash pick up, sewer, water, electricity, gas - for free (which happens with a lot of publicly financed NFL stadiums, from what I hear). The general consensus among the St. Louis sportscasters is if he bought the property to "scare" the Convention and Visitor's Bureau into fixing up the Dome, all it's done is piss them, and the City and the Metro residents, off. They also don't think, if he were to want to move back to the city that Georgia Frontiere (while Kroenke was a minority shareholder) ABANDONED in favor of St. Louis, he wouldn't get the votes needed by the other team owners to allow him to move. Besides, LA isn't likely to have any higher attendance rates than we have here because the Rams SUCK right now.
  15. Okay, Stan Kroenke, owner of the Rams, purchased 60 acres of land in Inglewood, CA. It was originally owned by Wal-Mart, but Wal-Mart couldn't get permission to build, so they sold it (I'm betting he knew about the property being for sale because his wife is the daughter of one of the Wal-Mart founding Waltons, plus, they inherited about a $6 million stake in Wal-Mart). Stan Kroenke bought it within the last month. So far, the Kroenke Organization simply made an announcement confirming that they bought the land, and they aren't saying what they are going to do with it. The major investments Kroenke has are sports related - and his majority rights to the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche he has to give up by the end of this calendar year, according to his deal with the NFL when he bought out the rest of ownership of the Rams when Georgia Frontiere died. The only businesses that he's involved with OUTSIDE of sports is real estate that builds the strip malls surrounding Wal-Mart stores (yeah, sorry, he really scored with marrying Bob Walton's daughter), and a Napa Valley winery. So of course, because after the 2014/2015 season, the Rams can walk away from St. Louis scott free because when they moved here, since the convention and visitor's bureau built the stadium, and owns it, there was a caveat in the contract that after that season, the stadium must be a "top tier" stadium (top 25% of NFL stadiums) or the Rams can walk away from their lease, and just go to a year to year lease. They started negotiating last year over improvements to the Dome, and were literally millions of dollars apart (about $5 million, IIRC). It even went to arbitration and the arbitrator ruled for the Rams, but the Convention and Visitor's Bureau is refusing to make the upgrades (let's face it, the Rams want $7 million in upgrades, and really, it needs it, the place is kind of a dump, but are the Rams WORTH $7 million in upgrades?), so yeah, the Rams could walk. And would 60 acres even be enough to hold a stadium and all the parking required? I'm thinking not, but I wouldn't bet against them being able to buy up the surrounding property - however, why would Kroenke be willing to build the stadium himself instead of a publicly backed stadium (as in St. Louis, and as SOOOO many NFL stadiums are now as well)? http://www.ksdk.com/story/sports/nfl/rams/2014/01/30/stan-kroenke-plot-of-land-california-st-louis-rams/5069985/
  16. I try not to be too hard on the USPS, either. Like I said, my father in law worked there (not as carrier, but in data management), and frankly, they are doing their best, especially considering because of the rules Congress set upon them years ago about pensions and other stuff, and fewer people sending snail mail since the advent of e-mail, they are operating at a HUGE loss every year. My carrier is the sweetest thing you'll ever meet.
  17. BTW, can't settle on a taste, tossing through tanks left and right.
  18. WOAH! I totally misread that first line. It's late-ish, and I haven't been getting much sleep lately.
