  2. FDA invites public input on menthol in cigarettes i got Fda news release about menthol analogs. I wonder where they are heading with this? Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) seeking additional information to help the agency make informed decisions about menthol in cigarettes. Despite decades of work to reduce tobacco use in the United States, it continues to be the leading cause of preventable death and disease. In the United States, about 30 percent of all adult smokers and more than 40 percent of all youth smokers report smoking menthol cigarettes. “Menthol cigarettes raise critical public health questions,” said FDA Commissioner Margaret A. Hamburg, M.D. “The FDA is committed to a science-based approach that addresses the public health issues raised by menthol cigarettes, and public input will help us make more informed decisions about how best to tackle this important issue moving forward.” The agency is issuing the ANPRM to obtain additional information related to potential regulatory options it might consider, such as establishing tobacco product standards, among others. The ANPRM will be available for public comment for 60 days. The FDA will consider all comments, data, research, and other information submitted to the docket to determine what, if any, regulatory action with respect to menthol in cigarettes is appropriate. If the FDA decides to issue a rule, the first step in that process would be a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, which would give the public an opportunity to weigh in on the specifics of the proposed rule. “FDA’s actions today on menthol reflect our commitment to explore all potential options, including the establishment of product standards. In the meantime, we will conduct new research to further inform our decision making,” said Mitch Zeller, J.D., director of the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products. The agency is also making available for public comment relevant scientific information, including the FDA’s independent Preliminary Scientific Evaluation of the Possible Public Health Effects of Menthol Versus Nonmenthol Cigarettes. The preliminary evaluation addresses the association between menthol cigarettes and various outcomes, including initiation, addiction, and cessation. In addition, the FDA plans to support new research on the differences between menthol and nonmenthol cigarettes as they relate to menthol’s lik

  6. I like the DEW too, I drink Mountain Dew like crazy so I was thinking no way is it going to taste like the drink but it is very very close. I do not know how they mix this stuff up but it actually taste like it has carbonization in it don't it? Not sure about vaping it all day because it is so similar to my drink but from time to time I will vape the DEW.
  7. Hey Grant 951 Just from my experience - still a virgin vapor. I was A pack to a pack and half of Salem Lights per day cigarette smoker before I started vaping. I smoked for near 35 yrs. I am Now down to 1 to 2 cigarettes a day but I have gone some of those days without a cigarette, I started giving the cigs up at end of May. I am using at times the 24 mg nicotine and other times 18 mg. I use the 70 /30 Pg to vg but have recently started trying the 60/30Pg to VG mix but not seeing a lot of difference in taste or vapor. All the sites mentioned already mentioned for juice are good and the only other suppliers I have tried besides the above are from Alien Vapor, and E C Blends. EC blends has some good Dragon flavors that have all tasted good. Cant go wrong with any of the Dragon type flavors they have all tasted delicious to me, but everyone is different which is why so many flavors out there. I think most company's prices are pretty much similar, High Brow may be a little higher but I have not looked at that site but once. I have ordered some from place called Johnson Creek because they made the flavors for the blu e cigarette kit that I originally started out with. Now I have a Vision VV 1300 and it works oh so much better than the blu kit could ever do. Surprisingly I have not found a menthol juice that I like to vape. Some flavors I have ordered from the various company's just do not taste good so I think I am going to stick with EC Dragon Blood and the black licorice flavor for now. I may have some that I will be wanting to give away soon as they have been steeping and not seeing much of change in taste or smell, It is expensive I am finding but you will feel 97 per cent better and that is priceless in my opinion. Hope this helped some it is pretty confusing out there. As to Starter Kits do research before getting those or you may end up getting something that you will not be satisfied with and then have to purchase a stronger battery.
  8. Waiting for Payday and hope they will still be in stock. Thanks for the heads up.

  10. Currently liking Black licorice and another fab is dragon blood. Both of these are juices from EC blends. I am just getting into this too so there are others ordered but steeping them cause they are young.
  11. That's a good point. Speaking of lotterys I won a little over $150.00 in NC last night on powerball -which will help offset some of the money I used nonlinear this weekend purchasing new flavors of juice.
  12. Wow that is food for thought and a reason for me to purchase additional back up battery's so I can have enough on hand to keep charged during my awake hours instead of charging my 2 pv at night while sleeping. I am sure I am not the only one that has been chargeing this way. Even laptop battery's have been known to explode and catch houses on fire. Not sure if any lawsuits came out of that or not. People sue over most anything these days. Remember Mcdonalds being sued over hot coffee?
  13. I am new too but liked the cherry crush flavor carts for blu ecigs so I ordered black cherry liquid as well as another cherry flavor called Ranier both made by Johnson Creek Original Smoke Juice. They call some of their juices Red Oak. They carry 100 per cent PG free in the red oak brand but I think you can order other combos. I found quick service with them. They sent me a free tin and some small empty bottles free with my order. It still don't taste the same as the blu cherry carts that this same company makes for blu but close enough. I was a Salem cigarette smoker for 30 yrs and you would think I would prefer menthol but it is not the case. I luv cherry crush. I just ordered from the vapor room so can let you know how their juice is when it comes. I have a couple small bottles from the ecigarette website but not liking their cherry flavor or the sour cherry much as they both taste like flowers might taste. I guess they are all different so I would suggest you buy sample size bottles or the smallest size offered so you do not get stuck with alot of wasted money on juices you don't like. I have mixed some of the flavors I do not like just so nothing gets wasted as I have no one to give them to. I have also signed up for most of the vapor store sites so I can get their newsletters which most will you send out emails about sales and provide coupon codes to help cover some of the shipping expense basically. May also want to try Madvapes. Vaporhut is also good place to order juices. But like I said I am new to exits but liking it. Down to 2 regular cigarettes a day from being a pack a day smoker and this has been in just under 2 months. I like others on forum feel better and am getting taste and smell back gradually.
