  1. As an ex menthol smoker myself, I was looking for the best menthol when I was first starting out vaping as well. I can tell you the VT Mentha is second to none in dominating menthol flavor with a devastating throat hit which allows for that 'menthol cooling sensation' going down (something that is much harder to find in e liquid than analogs). Check out the VT Mentha, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. If you want something more mellow, something easier to vape all day, check out the Creme de Menthe at electrojuice.com. If sweet cream met menthol and had a baby, that baby got stabbed by a menthol shard, had a small surgery and got liquified, you would get Creme de Menthe. It's a fantastic all day menthol vape with a very very light, sweetened undertone; I was surprised how much I liked this stuff. Creme de Menthe is not something I would recommend to everybody; it holds a much more unique taste than a traditional menthol. Good luck on your menthol hunt and happy vaping jgray.
  2. What are your guys' opinions on using HV attys on 5v+ devices/mods? From what I understand, these HV attys reduce the voltage output of the source by increasing the resistance, making the overall experience a lower voltage configuration. This added resistance makes for extended atomizer life since these higher volt devices/mods sap atomizer life much quicker. That logic can't be final... a truly doubled edged sword? No... I must be missing a big fat chunk of info somewhere. What's going on with these bad boys? I could very well be misinformed by the small amount of research I have done on these HV attys. *Also I have heard the taste and flavor on these attys are amped up a bit, but is it worth the overall loss of power, and is the loss of power even noticeable with or without a HV atty?
  3. Another big up to Chris and the guys at Vaprlife. I've long awaited this moment of Joker pre sales...
  4. Nice find Frank, an impressive website for making battery boxes. I'll be searching through just about everything they have here shortly.
  5. I'm not even sure what time I ordered mine but I got a black one
  6. Dang Stu... Hang in there, geeze you described that pretty well, brought the urgency out of your position. And congrats on moderator position at ECF.
  7. The first time I cruised over to vaperite.com it was a little while ago about 4am. About 2 minutes into the site I'm getting an IM from somebody from the vaperite website... is this right?? Sure enough it was Todd checking in, seeing how I was doing and if it needed any help navigating the website or if I had any questions. An extremely willingly helpful guy, he was thete to spend the time with me to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Some of the best customer experience I have recieved from any vendor. Great organic flavors too!
  8. Well in a perfect world, huge quantities of high nic liquid would be great, but stepping in your shoes Chris, it is a cruel and unforgiving world, a place filled with ignorance and disbelief. I do agree with your perspective, some idiot can very well screw it up for all of us, and potentially screw things up really bad for himself... It's all about keeping things in moderation with thy self; many are uncapable/struggle with this feat. I guess I was coming from a general consumers perspective moreso than an overall saftey and regulation standpoint.
  9. I believe it is the consumers decision to conclude if anything over 36mg nicotine is too much for them. Liquid > 36mg has more uses/applications than liquid < 36mg. With that said, I strongly disagree with ECF's decision to restrict suppliers advertising e liquid over 36mg.
  10. That's a good article there, worth the time. Thanks Phaseman
  11. I'm waiting on a Joker as well; join the crew SUPERCHEF
  12. WOW 125-0 vote. I'm just going to bite my tongue and use smilies to express my emotions... 125-0? Are you kidding me? This is either an act of irresponsible, blindedly placed decision making or our US govt officials are much to good at the art of rhetoric... not. This just blows my mind, blows it all over the wall behind me. Unbelieveable.
  13. I have only tried a few grape e liquids but VT Grape Soda here was the only one that didn't taste like a nasty artificial cough syrup. It tastes like a can of sweet n tangy grape soda! (reminds me of young childhood birthday parties)
  14. Do not purchase a Blu e cig, I have used them and they are garbage when compared to proper 510 devices, which is what I recommend to you. Check out the Joye 510 and the Janty ego, you can find them being sold by many online vendors as well as here, the VT store.
  15. It takes a person of basic intelligence to figure out that cigarettes are horrible for the human body and that electronic cigarettes do not hold a candle to cigarettes in terms of health hazards by either rational or emotional proof. Now lets face it, the humans working for the FDA and Government(govt) most likely do realize the monumental health bennifits of using an e cig over analogs. But in there unhumanly job positions(they are a higher power to us all), it is their duty to defy/manipulate this general logic and produce their own facts under their own regulations to produce results in their favor (MONEY and POWER)(these results can go both ways for the bennefit to the public). The bigger picture behind the loss/decline of tobacco sales is absolutely crutial in the eyes of govt and they will not let that be interrupted. They simply cannot afford the loss of trillions of dollars during these times (yes trillions, a serious negative trickling effect can occur within BIG TOBACCO and BIG PHARMA companies over a course of time, leading them down the drain in some cases), which is a serious trickling effect with anybody/anything that has ties to these companies: (investments(STOCKS), compamy/personal affiliations(sponsors/networking), consumers(cigarette smokers) etc). There could also be a population increase and a life expectancy extension which is like WHOABAHGJHD##$@^%@*ZOMG!!! in the eyes of govt (I'm not saying this would get blown out of proportion, but this has the capability to have a serious eternal impact on the world...) Since govt has regulation and control over BIG TOBACCO and BIG PHARMA companies it is essential in their case to maintain this tradition and keep the power in the hands of the govt (population stabilization/regulation, huge annual tax income, huge money generating govt corporations etc). With the loss/decline of some of govt's biggest guns, this could reverse core concepts of how govt runs their day to day operations or really have them scrambling for solutions which could lead to some kind of chaos/chaotic disaster within govt itself. I have thought of govt as bologna(yeah I say bologna now...) for a while now and I will continue to do so until legitamately prooven wrong, which I truthfully believe will never happen; and you know this is not the only controversial issue with the govt going on... Everything done by govt has a reason, they don't just sit on their arse and let things pass them by or allow for confusion within their sectors. They know exactly what it is they are doing whether or not their true intentions are exposed to the public in any given case. Although there are more theories behind my reasoning, what I have stated here are the basics behind what it is I believe. These are my theories and what I believe on this issue; I am not insisting belief of any knowledge stated upon any individual.
  16. HA what a way to spend some tax dollars. This is absolutely unbelievable... this subject matter is the kind of stuff that pushes people to the convergence of anarchy... this truely leaves people stunned with a gaping void for respect to our government. What they're doing isn't even legal in fullest terms, one could fight this and win in a court of law, which I'm sure many vendors are doing so now. Not saying this is going to cause something like the LA riots... but this here has potential to go way over the top. Whether or not the FDA has been issued a warrant, I believe this to be a true act of violation to the fourth amendment.
  17. Wow... flavored nicotine candy mints. GG R.J. Reynolds, this one will bite you in the arse soon enough. **I have never said arse in my life until now. I hope arse works...
  18. While vaping I always stay hydrated and make sure there is always some moisture in my throat/mouth. At times I get an extremely dry feeling, like a burning feeling, at times it will even make my eyes water. Since a large portion of the nicotine is absorbed through your throat and upper airways rather than lungs, it can and will get irritated without proper care. Keeping a good flow of liquids I found is vitaly important for a positive vaping experience.
  19. Yeah, these babies are down right sexy, at least thats how they look in the pictures . Looks like a rich scarlet red moreso than something bright and flashy. I think I'm going to do some mixing and matching with these colors now, make a nice red and black Tornado eh?
  20. No need to apologize about noob questions, we all start somewhere; we are happy to help you. If you are working 6-10 hour shifts I highly recommend an eGo. I use a Totally Wicked Tornado(same thing) and I get fantastic battery life out of it. I cycle between 3 batteries and keep them as charged up as possible at all times(vape about an hour or two then switch batteries). This keeps the voltage output at maximum strength, for when the batteries charge begins to die down, so does the voltage output. This voltage taper off can be found much more commonly with standard 510 batteries as compared to eGo batteries, but the same principles apply to both. But anyways, an eGo charge should last you a days work, if not it will probably last close to the end of your shift.
  21. I have been using LRAs for the past 3 weeks and I have never had this happen to me. I have had the atty crackle and pop in my face while I was dry burning but never had a cart go flying off with projected pressurized air.
  22. I did consider buying copper/metal pipe but I was brought to a screeching halt when I realized I do not have the tools necessary to create a mod out of metal (I'm a college student, I'm barely getting by as it is... ) Otherwise I'm sure that is one of the best options right there.
  23. I took a look at that one as well before, would rather wait on the longer project box than get moddy on a more square-like box. I would prefer the wiring and electrical componets to be inbetween the atomiser and battery, not parrallel with the battery. As far as parts and equipment goes, Mad Vapes is the place. Nothing comes close from what I have seen so far.
