Cotton Candy is my current favorite. I just picked up some green apple that isn't bad. I'll try it for a few days to see if I want to keep it in my rotation.

WTG!!!! A big hearty CONGRATS to you!!! Isn't this exciting!! Whodathunk we'd ever be able to go without a T-cig. Now they're soooooo gross!! and it was so easy to vape through the cravings. Gotta love it.

One month today! Okay, so it's a short month, February only had 28 days, but I'm taking it! I never would have believed I could do this - but I AM!

About 6 weeks ago I bought a Fin menthol starter kit at my neighborhood WalMart. I was not looking to quit smoking, just save some money. As a guy that went through a carton every two weeks for 12 years, this was a heck of a deal. On my way home I thought "I think I may have just quit smoking... but that's crazy." I woke up the next morning wanting my coffee any my morning smoke... but not a smoke I wanted my Fin. I had quit smoking, more or less accidentally.

Two weeks later I went into a local specialty store (Vaporescence) not havng any idea what to expect, and walked out with an eGo starter kit.

Two weeks after that I was injecting eliquid into my dead Fin carts with a syringe because I'm clearly nuts. Yes, I realize this may have been a bad idea. I also already burned out one eGo T battery using the wrong charger. I can't help but experament with this stuff. I already want an eGo twist set up. The hobbyist side of vaping has clearly hooked me.

It's been six weeks since my last true tobacco-and-fire type cig. My last pack with my last six cigarettes and lighter is sitting on a bookshelf and unlikely to do anything other than collect dust.

So now I'm here. Looking to connect with other enthusiasts and learn more about what is apparently my new hobby. I guess you'll be seeing me around.

This weekend I bought a mL size of Sweet Tart 18mg. from Move2Vapor (.com but I went to their local store). I was very surprised when I found out I LOVE it! Now I look forward to getting a 30mL size or two of it!

Thanks! I picked up some juice & refilled the carts I already have. Worked perfectly. I've made my final decision on my first REAL setup....a eGo-C with a bunch of different tanks, carts & attys, so I can find out what I like best. Brian from http://theveteranvaper.com has been so very helpful with all my questions. I can't remember who recommended him, but thanks. All of you guys are so knowledgeable, such a valuable resource.

I use different color clearomizers...or if using atomizers...well it doesn't make a difference.

Sometimes I get to the point of "eh" and just add liquid and vape. (you get some odd flavors that way)

I get back on track after purchasing new atomizers/clearomizers.

I also have a different color for each flavor most of the time.

A friend of mine uses a label maker but they don't stay stuck most of the time. I usually have like 5 clearos filled at the same time. I just print out the flavor names, cut them out and stick em with scotch tape.

Took until my 3rd week to finally get past the loopiness, everyone is different, but for me my chest already quit hurting, I sleep soo well now being able to breath.
when I smoked a cig i I smoked the whole d*mn thing, no sitting in the ashtrays for me almost 2 pks a day for over 30 years and not being able to stop was killing me fast, literally.

for those times i seem a little edgy I up the nic level, i found changing the flavor helps as well. In the beginning what I thought I would like turned out to not do the job like I thought it would and now im still w bacco flavors but nothing like a marlboro light or parliament like I originally wanted.

then you need to factor in the equipment your using it may beat the urge but not satisfing the craving to just smoke a cig. there too once I found something to give me a choker hit i slowed way down (after gagging for 5 min lol) and had alot less urge to feel the real smoke, the feel of the hit is one of the most important parts of all this.

then theres the worst part, some of your physical symptoms are your mind playing tricks on you, trying to get that cig back between your fingers, why?
You said you smoked over 30 years, as I, I couldnt figure it out, the nic was under control, the feeling of smoking was there, but why did I start to get edgy at work or after a good meal and still want a real one?

Becuase its not just a mindless addiction, or chemical attachment, iits a part of you, what you do, who you are
it defined you, good times, bad times, breakups, new job, new house, parties, depression, sadness and triumph. that cigarette was always there, the friend who never judged, never faltered, never changed, and we made sure we went out of our way to get another.
now your simple trying to tell your brain and body "cant touch that anymore", and your gonna get cranky, hell most people cant throw away a pair of worn out jeans if they still feel good, why should we expect something we have done for 30 years to be any easier.
it can keep the addiction in check but some people have to mentally adjust to the fact that its working but its not completely the same thing.

i cant suggest anything for your health as i dont know the general condition your in. but drink lots of water(very important), rest if you feel you need it, and try to take a walk or something active to get you breathing again.

I found some juices, no matter what it says on the label just dont get it done like something the same strength from someone else does (different grades/quality of nic maybe? anyone?).

maybe change the equipment up a little, like stated that feeling/taste of the hit helps sooooo much.

good luck and dont give in without a fight. It's tough, you feel crappy at times but everyone is telling the truth, you WILL start to feel better, and dont feel guilty if you slip in a real smoke once in a while, not everyone does a complete switch at once, at first I didnt I smoked 2 or 3 a day then week 2-3 I couldnt stand the taste of real smokes anymore and went nuts with the vaping. 5 weeks in I still think about cigs but cant find any reason to go get one.

for me 5 weeks= 70 packs of cigs=$525 not spent on killing myself.

Well first of all, Congratulations! Quitting cigarettes was always extremely hard for me, until my husband and I decided to try e-cigs to cut back on our cost of smoking (plus going outside in cold & rain was not fun, since we didn't smoke in our home). The same thing happened to us when we did a little research online and found the world of flavors.

Last week I slipped and bought a pack of cigarettes because of life's stressors building up. I couldn't even take more than three drags on the first one. The taste that I got was just absolutely horrible. Mind you I quit numerous times since I picked them up as a kid. The taste that I encountered was never that bad. Possibly I just got use to getting my nicotine fix with my sweeter flavors, and subconsciously my brain was telling me "What the...?"

Anywho,it sounds like you're enjoying your vaping experience. Check to see if there are any meets in your area. My hubby and I are going to our first vapor meet this Saturday. Looking forward to the experience and the knowledge that we can gain from people that have vaping much longer than the two of us.
