  1. Here is a break down for you

    Vegetable - Nicotine in ng/g - g per 1µg nicotine

    • Cauliflower 16.8 - 59.5
    • Eggplant (Aubergine) 100.0 - 10
    • Potatoes 7.1 - 140
    • Green tomatoes 42.8 - 23.4
    • Ripe tomatoes 4.3 - 233.0
    • Pureed tomatoes 52.0 - 19.2

1µg of nicotine is the equivalent of sitting in a smoke filled room for three hours. A cigarette contains about 7mg of nicotine, of which 1mg is absorbed. In other words, 100g of eggplant contains 0.01mg of nicotine, and 10kg of eggplant is equivalent to one cigarette. However, absorption rates from ingestion are low and nicotine is quickly metabolized, so the effect isn't nearly the same.

  2. The Tank system isn't really designed for use with VG. VG is much thicker than PG e liquid, the Tank system uses gravity to allow the liquid to slowly drip into the atomizer. VG is so thick it just won't work well with a Tank kit. I would suggest sticking with PG if your using a Tank system.

  3. You should not use LR atomizers on a high voltage device. It's actually dangerous. It can place the batteries under to much load. Though, the Pro Vari has protection built in to prevent this, you need to use regular atomizers.

LR atomizers where created to "emulate" 5 volts on a 3.7 volt device. If you have control over the voltage, which you do, then you need to use regul resistance atomizers. Cartomizers work even better because they're rated at about 3.0 ohms. They work great on high voltage not only because of the resitance, but because the heating coil is surrounded by liquid for much longer than a standard atomzer. (Less chance of it going dry which = a nasty vape)

  4. First of all no you should not start vaping if you don't already smoking tobacco. It makes no sense.

Second please read our forum rules before posting. We have a zero tolerance policy on drug talk. Electronic cigarette are already a controversial issue with the general public we don't need THC e liquid added to the mix.

  5. 555 is a very nutty flavor (it's also very popular) You could always add a little coffee yourself. We have a few customers who mix VT Tobacco (Nutty Base) with Choco Java and it comes very close to what your talking about :)

  6. In my mind I was thinking that, that $40 I would be spending on shipping is either more juice or batteries, atomizers or new cartos

I saw something I wanted on forever vapor and then found they don't ship to New Zealand.

We will ship anywhere on request. If you'd like me to open up to New Zealand shoot me over a message. :)

  7. 3-4 times a day is a very very light vaper. So I can see why perhaps her higher usage may seem to you as overkill. Unless it's effecting her life, family and overall well being, I don't see an issue with it.

Most cigarette users will smoke 10-11 puffs off of a cigarette in a short period of time. Heavy cigarette users will smoke every 30 minutes. (Given the chance, give or take) That's about 20-25 puffs an hour. Vapers, though I'm not sure why (I do the same thing) tend to take constant puffs over a long period of time rather than short burst cycles. So, if she smoked 2 cigarette an hour, when vaping she'll probably takes a puff every 2 - 2.5 minutes. Essentially she is keeping her nicotine level at a constant level.

Upping her nicotine may cause her to vape less, but essentially, she'll get the same amount of nicotine with half the work. That may make you feel better because she's vaping less, but the nicotine content is the same. It's purely appearance.

If she has just switched to vaping, her body is still dependent on many chemicals that are not in e cigarettes. Her body is probably craving those chemicals. After a short period of time, she'll probably balance out and vape less. From there, she can step down to a lower nicotine strength.

Basically what you're asking is for a caffeine addict to drink from a smaller cup with more shots rather than a larger cup with less shots. It's the same thing. Again, unless it's effecting her life, family and overall well being, she'll balance out and be just fine. :)

  8. I see what your saying but it's going to be tough to find a company willing to go into the school system and promote e cigarettes as a safer alternative when it has in fact not yet been proven, legally. On top of that you're going to need to convince the school system that it's a "healthier" alternative option. Informing the district that one addiction is better than another is going to be a tough sell.

You also run into a legality issue, how do you figure out which teens are going to smoke? If you find them, how do you promote e cigarettes to them without looking like your trying to get them hooked in the eyes of parents? (Less we remember in some states, including California where we are located, you cannot sell e cigarettes to a minor)

Lastly, it has been ruled federally that electronic cigarettes are a tobacco alternative and not a safer alternative. Regardless of what we all believe, that puts e cigarettes in the same realm as traditional tobacco.

  9. I believe our responsibility lies with not promoting the lesser of two evils. I vape because I am a nic head. I would rather not vape at all, but that isnt an option Im willing to pursue at this point. If someone wants to try out vaping instead of smoking they can go for it. I for one will not promote it to non smokers. Nicotine addiction is hardcore. Im sorry I ever picked up my first cig.

    Very well said Jeff.
