An eGo battery will last you about 12 hours or so
With the eGo battery there are even more options. Our other store carries a lot of the add on's here: http://www.forevervapor.com/

I think the rules actually say to carry on any lithium ion batteries, but I could be mistaken.
hmm Brian makes a good point here.
Here are the TSA's latest regulations: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/assistant/batteries.shtm

They are perfectly legal to carry in your checked in baggage. I would suggest removing your atomizer from the battery before storing. Other than that, you're good to go
I travel often and I've never had a problem. Your baggage will be fine.
(To put it into perspective, I check in my 9mm when I travel)

Take a look at the group section of the forum on the home page
There may be someone in your area

Are you using stock cartridges or filling with your own e liquid?
If your not filling with your own liquid, that's step one
And welcome to the forum

You are never over welcoming your visit!
By all means ask away
No I don't think you should get the LR. It's MUCH hotter. Especially if the current 510 is burning your throat. As for cartomizers it'll be a little while until we're in stock due to some legal issues. But Vapor Galaxy sells the same cartomizers we do. (Small supplier but great service)
You can also check Forever Vapor which is our sister store

Well the Aurora and the eGo use the same atomizers. In fact, you should be able to take the atomizer from your Aurora and put it right onto the eGo. The only difference is they charge a lot more. 27.00 for an atomizer..is insane.
If it has lasted a year, you must not vape to often. A Joye 510 atomizer (which is what the eGo uses) CAN last a year but only if you vaped very lightly. I vape about a ML of liquid per day. Many people vape much more and on higher voltage devices.
If the Aurora atomizer works better (though it should be the same) You may want to purchase a couple more and put them on your eGo instead. If you don't want to deal with dripping onto the atomizer then look into 510 cartomizers. Thats what I use personally these days

I looked up your order and see that you purchased your eGo back in January. Have you replaced the atomizers since then? The draw should be pretty easy. Atomizers are consumable and need to be replaced. If the draw is hard (this must be a recent thing) then chances are your atomizers need replaced. Cleaning them sometimes helps, but most of the time it isn't worth it. A single atomizer should last about 1 month give or take. I personally changed mine ever 2-3 weeks or so.
Keep in mind if you use low quality juice or very thick VG e Liquid you risk clogging the atomizer. Once this happens, there isn't to much you can do about it. In other instances the atomizer can just clog over time.
The model you purchased is a standard Joye Tech eGo. MANY people here on the forum (and other ecig forums) will attest to how well they work as well as their longevity
One more thing, you may want to try cleaning the threads on your battery as well. (A little bit of rubbing alcohol will do the trick)

Interesting. Great upload.

Interesting. Wonder if this "new" technology works the way the Ploom device does.

I don't think so no. So long as vendors do not promote any health claims, this shouldn't be an issue. Though, I have a feeling this is a small step with some much larger steps to come.

There are no books to date though it would probably be a nice idea. The book would most likely have to be updated often and honestly, the vast amount of online information would probably hinder book sales.
Now if an e - Book was created on the other hand..

FDA NEWS RELEASE
For Immediate Release: May 25, 2011

FDA takes action against illegal marketing of tobacco products
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today announced it issued 11 warning letters last week to online retailers for illegally marketing tobacco products with misleading or unsubstantiated claims or descriptors indicating that they can be used to reduce harm or the risk of tobacco-related disease.
“There is no known safe tobacco product. It is illegal for tobacco companies or retailers, including internet sellers, to make unsubstantiated claims or statements that imply tobacco products reduce health risks,” said Lawrence R. Deyton, M.S.P.H., M.D., director of the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products. “FDA will pursue enforcement actions to protect the public health.”
The FDA cited the online retailers for a variety of illegal marketing claims that violate the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, including use of terms such as: “Light”; “Low”; “Mild”; “Less toxic”; or “Safer.”
These claims are not permitted unless a company has received an order from the FDA allowing it to market a product with these claims based on scientific evidence. The agency has issued no such orders to date.
In the past, some tobacco products were marketed with descriptors that indicated they were safer or had a modified risk. Those products were never proven to reduce health risk. Those deceptive marketing practices may actually have led to continued or increased tobacco use and harm to consumers who incorrectly thought they were using a product that might be less risky. This kind of marketing is now illegal under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
In addition to these marketing violations, other cited violations included the illegal sale of flavored cigarettes.
The FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products conducts routine monitoring and surveillance of tobacco product marketing, advertising and promotion to assess compliance with the law. The agency will consider additional sanctions for failure to correct the violations cited in warning letters, which may include civil money penalties, no-tobacco-sale orders, seizure, injunction and/or criminal prosecution.

It's probably more the nicotine than anything. I actually noticed this when I started vaping also. It's no longer an issue now
Keep in mind, that "PG" liquids stock, are actually 20% VG and 80% PG. So a 30% VG mix wouldn't make that much of a difference.

I've been getting every error code there is... I've been using LR atty's. Now i know better and have some regular one on the way, but when i had the regular one on that came with it i was still getting the error codes
If your using LR and getting and error code it's actually doing it's job. The safety switch is engaging. It's actually quite dangerous to use low resistance atomizers on a high volt device. You risk the batteries draining to quickly and exploding.
-
For those of you with the errors makes sure your not using LR atomizers. You should use regular atomizers on a high voltage device. I've been using mine since February with no problems. It is still my go to device.
I use my eGo when attending business meetings or large gatherings, I use my Provari everywhere else.

I know I really shouldn't post here, but I have to say for the record, I'm so glad I'm man. Hats of to you ladies!
Suggestion - One of you ladies should create a private womens group in the social groups area, that way you can chat without peering eyes. Would be a nice level of privacy for our lady members. If anyone does create group, let me know and I can move this topic behind closed doors.

So long as it stays cool and out of sunlight Brian is correct, e liquid will last about 2 years.
