  1. THANKS Dave. Powder coating is EXACTLY what I was thinking of,(Black) just couldn't remember the term. Read on the site I think, that the switch is presure adjustable and also lockable(is that a real word?). Looked at the GG and it reminds me of a pipe I made in the 70's for some reason. Never seen the AFS(Curious). I'm shooting for the Six first(I need to stay focused or I'll wind up buying everything at once and land in debters prison, then they'll take all my units away)
  2. Chris. The button on my Spade also feels a little soft sometimes and I was wondering if spraying some circuit card cleaning spray would do the trick. I think juice is getting in there. You just can't help getting juice everywhere when your playing around between dripping and carting. At least I can't.LOL The spray doesn't leave any residue and I use it cleaning circuit cards and hookswitches on phones and never have an issue.
  3. Nice save jeffb. Good idea with the foil. I think just about anything can be resolved on this sie
  4. I think I just invented Chow Mein juice. Had several bottles with just a bit left and dumped them all into one and got about 3mls. A little RY4,cuban cigar, some tobacco flavor that reminded me of pina colada and some butter rum for flavor. Been vaping it all day and I'm actually kinda likin it
  5. I've got my heart set on the Suer-Six as soon as I can afford it. I'd like to talk to the guy first and see if it can be painted matte black. I mean a really good long lasting paint job. Being a mechanical unit, maybe I could I take it to a paint shop and have it baked or something. http://www.supertmanufacturing.com/id70.html This is the only video I've found so far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrBAW3W4cP4&feature=related It's a bit pricey but has a 3 year warranty and looks like it'll last for ever. Button's on the end so you use your little finger to activate. I thought I saw another video showing someone using it, but can't find it now.
  6. That's them. I didn't have much luck with it using the 510 atty on the Spade, kept flooding the atty. I think I'll try it with the 801 atty and see if it works any better.
  7. Welcome Matt Looks like you already got your answers. Good luck vaping. And by the way, the only dumb question on this site is "Should I go back to Analogs??"
  8. Exactly, the Spade(with a capital S, if you please ) is a classy 510 mod. I did buy some adapters to put an 801 atty on it as I think they produce more vapor, but on the whole, I'm very satisfied with the battery life of the Spade.
  9. Jen As mcquinn said it's a 3.7 volt lithium battery. A standard AAA is only 1.5 volts. If the PT work for a few puffs then dies, then works again for a short time, the battery is probably no good. I've had mine for about the same amount of time and it still works fine. You could try and clean the ends of the batteries with a pencil eraser and also the contacts on the charger and see if that helps. If not you should replace the battery before replacing the PT. Don't buy the protected 10440's as they won't fit in the inline charger as Nana mentions. Wish you luck,
  10. Classical for me due to distorted hearing. Everything I grew up with sounds off key now. Who knows what Mozart really sounded like
  11. Find one needle, in one haystack, and now jumping into a haystack is dangerous.
  12. The only drawback I can see, is now even PASTA RONI tastes better. I hate Pasta Roni
  13. I'm not sure as I haven't bought the same flavor twice yet. Still trying to find my favorite. I think it's our taste buds growing back or something. lol If this isn't the right place, they'll set us straight soon
  14. I wonder if they can upgrade the mAh without changing the size. I love my Spade, but wish the batteries would last longer, or at least stay at 3.7 longer.
  15. My story exactly. Mine still works, but it's back in its box and buried. Bought my Spade 2-3 days later and got hooked into the new hobby. $130.00 initiation fee to the Vape club. I can handle that.
  16. I just adapted my Spade and 510 PT to 801 attys and they work great compared to the 510 carts. IMHO anyway. Here's alink for the adapers. http://shop.goodprophets.com/product.sc?productId=89&categoryId=4
  17. Welcome to the forum fellow Coloradoian(I have no idea how to say that ) I use 3-4 drops in my 801 atty and usually redrip after 5-8 pulls or when it starts tasting burnt. You will find an answer to every possible question you will ever think of in this greatest of all ecig forums. Again, welcome, you'll love it here.
  18. I don't know, they remind me of my wifes curling irons, they seem kinda big.
  19. I think you have a great idea, but I don't think it's going to be easy. It seems to take a while to find your Zone. I'm still trying. Moved from a 510 atty to the 302/801 (24mg is different between the 2) and now want to try the 36mg in the 801. I want to feel like I've actually taken some nic when I put down the PV. You know what I mean??
  20. Not sure whats up with suppliers. Is it the chinese new year or US Customs?
  21. Ray

    Buff Puff Stuff

I actually tried that Buff stuff and didn't have much luck. But now that I know someone made it work, I'll try it again. Just gotta get the size right. I'll let you know if I make it work.
  22. That's why I'm switching to the 302/801 atty. Just ordered some adaptors from goodprophets @$3.29 each to fit my Spade and 510PT
