  1. I'm pretty basic with my coffee and gold Virginia. It just reminds me of the same feeling I had when I smoked my cigarettes with my coffee -- only, I can do so indoors where it's warm. On "special" nights, I like a good Cab with a strawberry or heavy cigar blend.
  2. Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. Totally Wicked has a great cigar flavor. You can get the disposable cigars from them, but you can also make it (shh, don't tell them I told you!!). If you take Totally Wicked Ry3, with a tiny bit of Tiger's Blood, it makes for a pretty nice cigar flavor. There are also various liquids that have that heavy cigar flavor, as well without needing to mix it. I had luck finding local shops by simply googling "vaping [enter city you live in]". Pulls up a lot of results, normally. You can also look at some popular suppliers. Sometimes they tell you where their product is being sold. Happy vaping!
  3. SO I ORDERED IT. The itaste MVP V2, to much of ... well... everyone's suggestion! And with a new device, you KNOW I have to get new liquids. So I went to the TVR website, and ordered: S'mores Snickerdoodle Strawberry Cheesecake. What's that? Oh? No tobacco flavors? Not for this champ! (In all honesty, I'm heavily stocked up on tobacco flavors at the moment and decided to try my hand at the sweeter side) I also got a R2D2 skin from VaporSkinz. I really wanted to get the Dr. Who tardis, but I feel like that's just overdoing it with my Dr. Who obsession. (Don't get me wrong, the sonic screwdriver skin is a close second for a future mod..)
  4. Ah -- reminds me a lot of the Cobb pipes I used to love. That's a wonderful device. Hopefully, Santa is forgiving this year. ... I wonder if Santa vapes. O.o
  5. Oh thanks! I'm really glad it's a fool-proof technology. I was nervous that I was getting myself into something that I'd potentially break and get frustrated with all over again. The interface seems pretty simple to operate. Thanks for your comments! Really secured my faith in this new device.
  6. Hardware that produces those large vape clouds are probably going to be delivered more by a mod than anything. And when you get into the world of mods, it can be pretty overwhelming as there are a TON of mods out there (as I'm learning). Totally Wicked as a website you can go onto and see if a vapor lounge is local near you. They were the first to really have a "shisha" tobacco juice line, as well as duel tank systems that can produce some pretty awesome clouds. Getting a tank will help your experience with not only seeing which style you like, but also tend to be better than having those basic ego-cs as their atties (atomizers) tend to clog up quickly with the darker, heavier e-juice (stereotypical hookah flavors tend to be those darker, thicker juices). They have Apple Shisha, as well as a few other shisha flavors and those thicker, darker fluids you'll get pretty decent clouds and flavors on. Plus, the perk of going to an actual vapor lounge is that the people there will be able to not only point you in the right direction, but also help get you situated and assembled. I find that with some smoke shops, not all of the people who work there are experienced with the e-liquid, tanks, and how they all work. If you want to get into rebuildables (which are somewhat complex, but there are a lot of videos on many rebuildables showing step-by-step processes on how to rebuild them), the Kayfun Lite is just a powerhouse as far as vapor production. I've seen some people with this rebuildable blowing larger vape clouds than what I've seen come out of hookahs. (and I did hookah for years!). They're a little hefty on the price, but are fun and customizable and can definitely get you into the hobby side of vaping if you're into that. They're also a fool-proof kind of build, where it's harder to mess up than it is to get it right. If you're looking for a beginner style mod that'll still hold a lot of power, I've been suggested SO many times to pick up either a VAMO or an itaste MVP V2 as these both are pretty hefty mods, at affordable prices. They're also pretty simple to operate and you just have to see which system fits you best. The MVP V2 has a nifty little feature where you can also charge your cell phone off of the battery as well. Really, it's all trial and error. What I can pull huge vape clouds off of, might not be something you enjoy, and vise versa. Youtube videos help a lot because you can see exactly what people are vaping out of, what their clouds are like, and what power and voltage they're vaping at.
  7. After a year of on-off vaping, the last six months have helped me really buckle down and get off of smoking completely now that I've invested in a couple of reliable devices. However, now I'm taking the step towards the MVP V2 which is on it's way right now! This is the first time I'm even venturing into mods and I'm pretty excited about this one. This is also my first experience with variable power and volts. I don't quite understand how I would know what power and volt to be set at with even the basic iclear 30 tank that it comes with, nevermind other tanks or (down the road a bit) rebuildables. Is there a post about this somewhere? Or can someone kind of break it down in a simpler concept? I just don't want to ruin my MVP V2 or the tank because I set the power too high, or the volts too low. Is that possible?
  8. If you like the sweet and fruity sensation, you'll definitely like Totally Wicked's Tootie Fruity mixed with Pineapple. I don't really know if they sell them under their labels, but they certainly have them available as far as flavor kits go to making your own e-liquid. Cheaper in the long run, but these two together are gold. I just make them together and use it as a taste bud party starter.
  9. Pop off the bottle cap, inhale, pour glass, exhale, and drink. Works every time.
  10. Lol. I had a "fun" job where I made up test questions for math tests. My brain was exactly like that by the end of it.
  11. 20 cigarettes in a pack for around $8 (mine were $7, and on the more expensive side). $8 might get me somewhere around 15ml of fluid. 15ml of fluid lasts me about 5-6 days. I smoked about 10-14 cigarettes in a day (hookah and cigars aren't really included, but those were also a huge portion of what I smoked), So, theoretically, 60 cigarettes = 15ml of fluid, which would make 1ml of fluid = 4 cigarettes. Let's say you get 15ml for $8, that is about 60 cigarettes, which would equal three packs. **Numbers are rounded and estimated** But that's my math. You can figure it out for your own ratio by: How many milliliters do you go through in a week? How many packs did you go through in a week? Packs of cigarettes have 20 cigarettes, so times that number by 20 to get the number of cigarettes you'd go through in a week. Take that number and equal it to the number of ml you go through in a week. Divide the number of cigarettes into the number of ml you go through in a week. That number is now the ratio of how many cigarettes you "get" out of one ml. Times that by how many milliliters you get out of $8 you spend, and you have your ratio.
  12. These videos really did do a wonderful job at explain mods and where I want to take my vaping experience. I really appreciate the post! I think I know where I'm going to start heading towards and looking into! Thank you so much!
  13. I'm a medical coder and biller for specialized and high-profile patients. Soon to become an auditor. That's just to get me through my schooling and fund my research for my psychosexual rehabilitation system that I want to start developing in this lifetime. Or at least get a group of researchers on board with it locally.
  14. So I'm having a really hard time deciding on what my next vapor is going to be. I missed out on some really good black Friday sales (it was between new apartment furniture or a new vapor system...) I currently use my Tornado-C Slim and I like it primarily because it's pink. I dislike it because each battery only lasts 3 hours, and the cartiges are getting easier and easier to loose. I kind of want a tank system, but I don't know which one to go for! I've narrowed it down to three, and maybe some of you could put your feedback in and tell me which one you like more? I'm not a HUGE fan of the removable batteries. I don't mind them, but I've lost a few in my purse before. The three contestants: The RCS Kit from Totally Wicked: I've seen this kit become very popular, and it's pretty affordable The VapePro Kit from Totally Wicked: This is just overall very sexy. But for the price, I'm a little hesitant. I love the odyssey tank system, especially the filling method, and I love the customizable vapepro easily operated battery system (nevermind the actual battery life!). The third? Maybe your suggestion?! I really like the tank systems, and I think I like the top loading tanks rather than the bottom loaders as the bottom loaders I've always removed the wrong way and caused major liquid spills. I'm kind of clumsy, so something durable. I need a long battery life, too. Any suggestions? The price doesn't entirely matter but obviously, the more affordable the better.
  15. I was a little too inebriated at a friend's place and needed to refill my cartridge. This was when I was first starting out, and wanted to "show it off" to the best of my ability. My friends wanted to watch me to see how I did it (only a few of them used e-cigs, most just smoked regular analogs). Well, the dripper never made it to the cartridge before I started squeezing. Squeezed out about 3ml 'til I realized what was happening... There were TWO lessons learned: 1) Pre-fill to last through a night out 2) Don't drink and drip!
  16. I like that it's a better quality of smoke. I enjoy smoking. I never really looked into quitting. I mean, I've dabbled with the patch and the gum and mused myself on how addicted I really was until I'd do a 10-fold relapse and would be back to analogs. When my friend was smoking from his e-cig I saw it and it smelled nice and he was a bigger smoker than I was, so... what the hell? Something else to smoke, right? I wasn't planning on quitting cigarette, cigars, hookah, ect. I was planning to still smoke it up. But, I haven't picked up a cigarette, hookah, or cigar since my e-cig. My favorite cigar flavor is one I made for my e-cig with my liquids, I have a couple of tanks that produce larger clouds than my hookah ever did, and there's really NO mess (unless you spill some liquid). Ash being everywhere is something I do not miss. There's even a local vapor lounge for social smoking that friends and I venture to hang out and try the new flavors. I considered quitting when I started, but it was only because that was basically the concept behind the e-cigs. Didn't think I'd ACTUALLY quit. Used to smoke a little over half a pack a day, hookah three times a day, and have a nice cigar once a week, give or take, and now I haven't touched a cigarette for a little over a year. That IS a good feeling, even if I didn't want to quit.
  17. I've found that to be pretty normal with various flavors. There was even a really scientific article about this on why it happens -- but I'm a bit lazy ATM to pull it up. I'm sure a Google search could yield it if you want to know the actual chemistry of it. Like my apple that I just bought. I was in LOVE with it in the store. I thought it was the best thing, and probably my favorite flavor. But then after a while, it got old and really gross -- and almost, intolerable? It was strange. But it has happened to me with quite a few flavors that I've been on and off with. I always carry an alternative flavor with me, just in case. Because it's even happened to me mid-day where I'm like "WHY DO I STILL HAVE THIS FLAVOR?" Also, as with beers and wines (various temperature settings and glass-serving suggestions), vapes can change depending on what you're smoking out of and what settings you have (as you've mentioned above)... it could be just your setting? I'd try loading the flavor into a "Back up" e-cig that you like, and delivers that reliable tastiness, then play around with your current device to try and match it? Sometimes flavors need a custom setting. There are some e-cigs that I solely vape only one or two flavors out of because of this.
  18. Vaping Totally Wicked's Virginia for this afternoon. It's nice and mellow!
  19. Hello! I don't entirely use Facebook frequently, but I am on here daily and get daily updates. I'm not all TOO active, but I have lingered and whatnot. If you want to exchange information, like emails, that's fine too. Also, if you do end up going to that Totally Wicked vapor lounge, and mention my name, or give them my email address, you can get 15% off your entire purchase, and I also get sent a 15% off coupon thing as well! (it might be $5, I'm really not sure how it works XD) But I know I got 15% off for mentioning my friend's name. It's a bit of a grey area as far as "best vapor in the room". XD I bet if we got everyone together on this site, we'd all think we had the best ones. All personal preferences. I personally only buy Totally Wicked products because they've been reliable, convenient, and of great quality. I've never had any issues. They're a "side company" of JoyTech, which is also popular. The lounge is worth the trip. I'm in Clearwater myself, but venture to the Tampa area often enough to justify stopping in that lounge whenever I can. It's just a great experience. Check out the Odyssey. You might like it. But then again, you might really like something that isn't top-of-the-line. Lots of people here use not-so-top-of-the-line as their normal ,everyday vape. The best thing I'd suggest is to try it all out. See what coils you like, what voltage you like, what kind of TH and battery life you need, what size you want it to be... ect. I have heard of LizardJuice.com, I've never ordered from there - though. The worse is to invest in "top of the line" and find out you really don't like it. Some of them are a LOT of maintance, and my personal preference is "If it takes longer to set up than light a cigarette, it's not worth my time". But there are others who don't mind sitting down for a few moments and situating things together.
  20. Well, let's start with what you're vaping with now? Though, the gas mask has to be by far the best vape hit you'll ever get. If you want one of the "big kids" kind of pieces, it's really a matter of opinion and preference. Some bells and whistles don't necessarily tickle everyone's fancy. I like the Odyssey kits from Totally Wicked, but I also really like custom mods as well. It's best to know where you're starting from and what you like/don't like about it. Edit: It's also nice seeing another Tampa vaper! Have you been to the Totally Wicked Vapor lounge in Tampa? It's pretty neat. I just like that you can try all of the flavors right there. XD
  21. Haven't posted in a while, thought I'd start with a bump of my recent purchases. I saw that my town has a Totally Wicked Vapor Lounge (let me tell you, if you haven't ever been to one, and have one locally, I HIGHLY suggest you visit one. It's a pretty neat place and you can sample everything that they have before you buy it) After a couple hours of tasting, chatting, and flirting -- I ended up picking up my NEW favorite vaporizer from the Totally Wicked line. Unfortunately, there haven't been many reviews on it, so I didn't really know if it'd fit my lifestyle... but I really like it. I picked up: Totally Wicked Tornado Slim (in PINK!) 10 ml of the following: Apple shisha Tobacco Virginia Tropical Tobacco (a huge favorite of mine!) Pumpkin Spice Vanilla (to mix with the Pumpkin Spice) The slim itself is an amazing device for what it is. Super easy to operate. I thought it'd be a pain in the but to have to manually change the battery (there are separate, rechargeable batteries that are slipped into the holder) since I have long nails and batteries with long nails just never tend to go well together), but it's as easy as lighting a cigarette and far better of a smoke. I could see myself just going there to hang out and chat with friends with some drinks and vapes. The whole lot there are really friendly and very informative. Even the most experienced vapor could learn something by just going in there. And it's really neat seeing the employees and what they're smoking out of (some of them are insane!). I'm just super happy that I know have a PINK Tornado. Got to keep with the pink theme, you know?
  22. Being a hookah smoker for years, I can honestly say that there is not a replacement for hookah itself. There are ecigs that produce pretty large vapor clouds, but hookah is a very hard art to copy electronically. I'm using the Totally Wicked Tornado tank with the Dual tank adaptor. This produces pretty large clouds and has a smooth hit. Still not the same as hookah, though.
  23. Thanks you two! I have ordered a ton of different e-liquids and I'm trying to narrow down my choices for a backup e-cig. I have a couple disposable ecigs (which are actually very nice) but I'd like to actually have a real backup. How long do ecigs last? Should I be replacing parts every so often? Edit: Instead of making a whole post, I'll just add this here... How many mg should I be aiming to get if I smoked about a 3/4 pack to a pack a day?
  24. Blueberry-lemonaid. It is so refreshing and a mild flavor to enjoy all day. But I couldn't exclude myself to just one, and there are tons that I still need to try.
  25. It's so strange to know that we've all smelled like that once upon a time. I absolutely hate the smell of cigarette smoke, but I've smoked them for four years. I can't wait for a cleaner, happier lifestyle. And I love that I can smoke inside now with my e-cig. Because of the horrible smell, I couldn't smoke inside my own apartment. I'm just so thankful to switch over.
