I love the Vision Spinner! While the eGo Twist is wonderful, one draw back is that it's next to impossible to see the numbers and what voltage you're vaping at. The Vision Spinner is just like the Twist but with easy to read numbers. My new 1300 Spinner is wonderful. It lasts for a loooooong time between charges. You'll find we all have our favorite toys and we give similar yet different recommendations. I think all of the recs are pretty good for starting out. In the beginning it's good to get something that just "works" and is easy to use. Then, you'll start branching out and trying other things. The easiest for me would be a CE4 (also called a Vision Stardust), Vivi Nova/Vivi Nova Mini, or the new T3 or MT3. You just fill, wait a few minutes so the wicks can get soaked through with e-liquid and vape. For throat hit on the juice you'll want either more nicotine and/or more PG. For more vapor you'll want the higher VG. I'd say go with a 50 PG/50 VG. The higher the nicotine you get, you'll also sacrifice a little on the flavor. If you smoke full flavor I'd suggest 18 or 24 mg of nic. If you smoked lights, 12 mg of nic. Ultra-lights, 6 mg. Just keep in mind that we all seem to vape more than we smoked so in order not to get a nicotine overdose, you'll want a lower nicotine juice for when you're chain vaping. A higher mg juice for when you're not. There are wonderful people on this forum who will answer any question...no matter how many. Good luck!

I need to put in an order for a bunch more of these myself, Rixter. What surprised me the most is that I now prefer the smaller "tanks" on the nano versus something as big as the T2, T3, MT3 or even the Vivi Nova Mini. It's so small and cute and yet packs a punch on the flavor.

Not sure if they'll vape like the vid but I would suspect so. The juice I have in mine is 70 PG/30 VG so the vapor production is a bit less. With 50/50? Probably. I still like these little things.

Now that some time has passed and I'm sure you've gotten and tried the 12 mg by now...how goes it with the lower nic? Although I started out with 24 mg of nicotine I'm now mostly vaping 6 mg with an ocassional 12 thrown in just because. Once in a great while when I can't vape as much but need the nicotine in a hurry I fall back on the 24 mg as a temporary stand-by but it's only a few puffs at a time.

The might have gotten them right with the T3 as well because I tried it with that, too. At least my T3s, the ones with the black lettering and two holes...they had the same result as the MT3s. *shrugs* Wonder if the very first ones had the problem but the manufacturer got a clue and fixed the rest?

Yes. Got them in and have tried two of the three and they both worked flawlessly. Just tried playing with the gasket to see if it made a difference and it did -- just not in a positive way so I put them back the way they came.

Thanks for the pic. I tried doing that but didn't find any appreciable difference. Maybe just a bit less vapor, actually. When I put the end piece back on I had to wiggle it to make sure the gasket fit flush onto the center otherwise it bunched up and squished out unevenly when I screwed it in.

Okay, I have a stupid question. The gasket he's talking about is cup shaped, yes? So you just turn it over so the cup part sits on top of the wick or does he mean you take the cup shaped gasket and turn it inside out and then replace in the same way it was originally? I've read his instructions several times and I'm still not sure... It could also be that my brain is toast and no matter how many times I read it, it's not going to make sense to me tonight.

The reason why I had six eGo 650 passthroughs when I joined this forum is because of my local B&M store. The owner is great! I still buy everything I can from him. The only reason why I go online is because his selection is very limited. I even turned him on to Empire Mods' drip shields and the universal drip tip. Although he has a huge selection of e-liquid flavors (all 40 PG/60 VG and 24 mg nic), I don't like any of them other than the Mojito flavor, which is why I buy that in 125 ml bottles. There are some great B&M stores as well as some not so great. I'm just very lucky to have one in my area.

That's what happens when you discover online vendors with really great prices. If you look at the bottle on the second from the top shelf, third bottle from the left -- that's $11 a pop at my local brick and mortar store where I got started on vaping and equipment. Compare that to $2.50 for the 5 ml bottles and $5.95 for 15 ml bottles and...it was very easy to go nuts on trying new flavors!

Your method is better than what I used to have -- that is, it was scattered all over my desk area and taking over. At least yours is in a drawer that will actually close. Lol.

Used the MT3 at 2.4 ohms Vision Spinner 1300 at 4.0 volts with VTR Lemon Meringue 50/50 blend. I've also tried the MT3 on the eGo C Twist 1000 (or is it the 1100? I can never remember but it's the looooooooooooooooooooong one ) started at 3.7 volts and went up to 4.3 but 4.0 seems to be the sweet spot for the EC Blends' Dragon's Tear 70 PG/30 VG.

Got my MT3s today and tried the red one on my twist at 4.0 volts (no clue about watts, however). It works better than the T3s. My T3s are the ones with the black letters and two holes. They seem to pop and crackle when I take a hit. The MT3 doesn't, it's very smooth and is working well with no leaking so far.

You *almost* got it right. Think of an atty as an engine you put into your car. The cartomizer is also an engine so if you have one under the hood there isn't room for the second one. You use one at a time. Notice how I didn't even try to make a reference to, "...you don't want to put the second engine under the hood." The Vivi Nova and Vivi Nova mini aren't hard to use at all. Open top, pour juice in making sure none go into the center post, screw top back in. Screw onto battery. Let the tank sit a few minutes to allow the wick to soak up the juice and vape. Not hard at all. Same goes for the Vision Stardust/CE4, T2, T3...

The eGo T is a type or model of battery as far as I'm aware. When I first started vaping in May 2012 I bought an eGo T battery, it was a "passthrough" which allows you to plug it into a USB port to charge it and still be able to vape while it's plugged in and charging. Shortly after that eGo came out with the eGo C battery that was a bit better (or so they said), than the eGo T. There are regular eGo batteries and there are passthroughs. They use different kinds of chargers. I really do understand your frustration with all these choices and just wanting to get what you want so here is my recommendation to you. It's based solely on my opinion and experience with various vendors I've bought from and continue to do business with - complete with links. Well, darn. I'm going to send you to Brian at The Veteran Vaper but he doesn't carry the passthroughs. I've bought from him many times and continue to shop there. I'm sending you his way because he's trustworthy and honest, gives excellent customer service and also is great about communicating with his customers. He's also a long time member of this forum, which is how I found his store. It also comes with two atomizers so you can direct drip if you want. It looks like it also comes with five pre-filled cartomizers (those are like atomizers with a filler inside that holds a fair amount of e-juice). Many on this forum love them but you have to keep the filler/batting inside wet or you get a burned taste that's pretty bad. It comes with a charger and AC wall adapter and an eGo cone. You screw the atomizer into the battery, put the cone over the atomizer and...you need a drip tip. Looks like a drip tip isn't included in the kit. No matter. Those things cost next to nothing. More on that later. Okay, so, for $49.99 that's a great starter kit. Just a tip -- I've found that some atomizers come with some kind of liquid in it that needs to be blown out before use. Take one and blow gently but firmly into the large open end. Hold a tissue or napkin lightly over the tiny hole near the threaded end of the atomizer to catch the liquid as it comes out. Keep doing this until no more liquid comes out. Dab the end to dry. When direct dripping it's easy to flood the atomizer if you get happy with putting too many drops in at once. I do this all the time. Even now. *rolls eyes at self* When you get a gurgling sound unscrew the atomizer, blow into it like what I said above and also dab the tissue into the connection of the battery. You'll see liquid there, too. Screw atomizer back on and you should be good to go. Now, if you're direct dripping you really need a drip shield to keep things from getting messy as there will be liquid seeping out of the air holes in the atomizer. For that you need to go to Empire Mods. You can also get drip tips there. Not all drip shields cover the threads on your battery. There are two that do and they say directly in the name that it's for eGo batteries. The others (most but not all), will fit but they'll stop at the top of the threads on your battery. I don't know how you feel about those although Jeff seems to like pink and has no problem with it. Any of the drip tips that are for 510 will work for your set up. I prefer anything that isn't metal because I tend to chain vape when direct dripping and the metal can get...warm. Another thing I'd suggest is the universal drip tip. http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/chrryuni.htm You can use it by itself (inserted into your atomizer), or you can insert a separate drip tip into the universal. It's funny looking and will make your set up long but I love it because it keep you from sucking liquid into your mouth when vaping. This sometimes happens when you direct drip and is very unpleasant. Because of its extra length, it also cools the vapor, which I prefer. You might feel differently. Before direct dripping I would suggest you read the threads that are there about it to get tips. Or you could just ask questions here. I'm sure lots of people will chime in. They're wonderful about that here. Then, with this stuff, all you have to do is get the e-liquid from the vendor of your choice. Sorry this comment was so long but I hope it's helpful to you. Hang in there. It does get easier! ETA: You can also get the Vivi Nova tanks at The Veteran Vaper. That's where I go the Vivi Nova mini and it works great, no leaking!

If you want to do some flavor testing I'd suggest direct dripping with an atomizer. I believe you can use those with clove flavors without any damage. Then, once you find the one you like from a certain vendor you can fill up the tank of your choice. Tanks and clearomizers have come a long way in a short amount of time. You might get lucky and not have them crack from the liquid. I know that when I first started the T2 and CE4s would crack periodically because I liked the Mojito flavor which was high in citrus. Now? No problem whatsoever and I haven't had one crack lately. There really are a LOT of choices out there. Trying things and experimenting is half the fun with vaping. Good luck!

You need to pick up a brand new, shiny Vision Spinner 1300 mAh.

This one holds around 65 bottles. They have bigger ones available but they were too wide to fit where I wanted to put it. I think the biggest one holds something like 95 bottles...

I got it from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007SVQOQS/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00 I wish all the shelves were a little farther apart vertically so they'd fit the taller bottles better but the top rack works for that just fine. The fattest bottles are the EC Blend's 50 ml and it still has a little bit of room to spare wit the lip on the bottom to keep the bottles in place. In the reviews many people complained about only having two holes in the rack to fix it to the wall. Mine had four. No screws came with this thing so you'll want to get some. We used some mollies to help with the weight.
