  1. Another reason why we strongly suggest getting more batteries and coils is that, when you vape one flavor for a prolonged period of time, you'll get to the point where you can't taste it any more. This is commonly called "vaper's tongue". When this happens, if you vape a very different flavor for a bit, you'll be able to taste the first flavor again. It's much easier to just pick up a second or third battery with the tank of the different flavor on it than to have to waste the liquid in your tank, rinse it out, change the coil and put a different flavor in. At the very least, get another tank or two to keep filled with different flavors so all you have to do is change out the tank.
  2. My preference is the 1.8 ohm coil but everyone has their own favorites. Lower ohms also means that you can get away with using less voltage = longer lasting charge in the battery. The 1600 mAh in the Vision Spinner II should last a day or a little more depending on how you vape.
  3. If you don't buy anything more right now, you really need to get more coils. Usually, a stock coil will last around a couple of weeks but you never know when they'll go out and if your only back up coil will work and/or last long enough to get more. We're a broken record around here about back ups. And back ups of back ups. We can't emphasize that enough.
  4. You'll also want to add an AC adapter for the charger, it's a much safer way to charge without risking frying your PC. Add at least one or two 5-packs of replacement coils to your order. The Kanger Pro Tank 3 can take the single coils or the more expensive dual coils that come with it.
  5. You're rebuilding Nautilus coils, Comp?
  6. Ha! Jason beat me to putting up the link to the post I made with all the links on it. I need to put that into its own post for easier reference but haven't yet. Read through the thread. There's a lot of good advice from our knowledgeable and friendly members. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  7. *falls over laughing* Yes, please let us know how well they work, Jason. From my experience with the HH.357 Cisco atomizers, I would expect it to be amazing! After all this time and all the different tanks and RDAs I've tried, I still can't get performance comparable to the HH.357s. If these work as well as the atomizers, I would love to pay $10 each instead of the $25 that I pay now.
  8. Haven't tried these, but I would imagine that the quality is the same as the HH.357s that I use. I'm still dropping nearly $200 a pop for their atomizers so I think the $10 a coil would be worthwhile. I'll order a couple in my next order with them. Thanks for the heads up.
  9. You've come a long way in a short amount of time, Jason. You've also helped a lot of people get started and troubleshooting things. Give yourself a pat on the back.
  10. Nah, as far as a Nanny state, New York's still got you beat.
  11. Your smile at the end just made my day! Great vid. I hope to see more as you learn more and share with others just starting out.
  12. Go for it!
  13. Your tax dollars hard at work...or was the hardly working? *sighs*
  14. Comp looks good in red. He really rocks it!
  15. We love the Fadora's flavors, but we love Comp more.
  16. For a buck more these Joyetech chargers work just as well. I have both and no problems with any of them. http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/joyetech-ecig-rapid-usb-charger/
  17. That reference to "them" would probably include me.
  18. Warning labels were on the box. Grannie just didn't read it first. You'd think the packaging, in this case was pretty clear, would've tipped her off but...
  19. There is also no "smoking", it's all vapor. Your statement should read: "...how you vape, too. Are you a direct...."
  20. Good for you that you researched so thoroughly before jumping in! May you have many happy, safe builds in your future.
  21. Local news has been going on about kids eating laundry detergent pods lately. A grandmother accidentally gave a gel pod to her granddaughter thinking it was a teething toy. Oops. The little one was okay, just not feeling well for a bit.
  22. In no particular order: Fadora Vapor (hardware but mostly juice) Vapor Talk store (mostly hardware, some juice) The Veteran Vaper (hardware) EC Blends (juice) Five Pawns (juice) Vape Dudes (juice) GotVapes (hardware) Mad Vapes (hardware) Discount Vapers (hardware) Most of my business these days is going to the VT store, Fadora and EC Blends for superb, high quality products and juices but mostly for excellent customer service!
  23. Feh. Looks like Chris is working on the VT store so I can't link to the charger. He does, however, have the key word links back so you'll see certain words underlined in our posts. Click on those (when the VT store is back online), and it'll take you to whatever it is that we're talking about -- like chargers.
  24. Nice! It's getting there.
  25. Glad to see that all of our recs are better than you hoped. Now you see what we were talking about? You're well on your way to becoming cigarette-free. Good luck!
