  1. I would give the Aspire Nautilus mini a try. It comes with two extra vertical coils at 1.8 ohms. With our Twist, that should work well to give you a good vape and vapor as long as your juice is right. What PG/VG ratio of juice are you using? I'd go with at least a 50 PG/50 VG or max 30 PG/70 VG. The higher the VG, the more vapor you get. Keep in mind that the higher the VG, the less flavor because PG is the flavor carrier. I regularly vape at 50/50 and can still fog up the home office.
  2. ^^^^ What Comp said. Also, be aware that too much VG content and it'll gunk up your coil faster and make it hard for the wick to absorb the liquid so you'll get more dry hits. I wouldn't go any more the 70 VG if you're using a tank with any kind of coil.
  3. Yeah, we're a pretty vocal bunch if something isn't up to our standards. By the same token, we also sing praises pretty loudly when it's deserved... like the Vapor Talk store and Fadora Vapor for two that come to mind.
  4. *waves hand* Chronic insomniac here. *sighs* That said, when I do go to sleep I'm much like a light switch: either I'm awake or I'm asleep, there's no in between and it happens in an instant. I like sleep soooo much.

  6. If you're getting more of a burnt flavor, chances are good that your coil is going out or you've burned the wick. If you're having to set it up to 4.3 volts to get a decent hit, I wonder if you have a higher ohm coil like a 2.5 ohm or more? Do you know what resistance your coil is?
  7. Ha! I was going to ask the same thing, Comp. Also, what resistance of coil (ohm) are you using? It looks like a variable voltage battery, what voltage do you have it set at? Oh, and another thing. Before recharging, do you clean out the point where the battery connects to your clearomizer? You really should do that, as well as cleaning out the connection end of your charger so it gets a good connection for a full charge. Use a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol to get all the dried up old juice out -- this time. Then, from that point on, always clean out the connection ends before charging. You might not be getting a full charge if it can't make a good connection. One more thing. For safety's sake, do not leave your battery charging while you sleep unless you have it inside some protective case. You never know if there's a short or something else wrong with the battery and you don't want it to catch on fire while you're sleeping.
  8. Just a word of advice - keep some higher nic around just for those days when you need a little more. I have everything from 24 to 0, mostly 12 and some 6 mg but it's good to keep a variety around. Better that, than going back to analogs because you lowered your nic level too much and you need more but don't have it. YMMV.
  9. And you only have to post a question ONCE, not multiple times, to get someone to reply.
  10. Yeah, it seems I gave b-i-t-c-h a whole new and improved definition when I was without smokes.
  11. Honey, does this tankful of PBFB make my butt look big?
  12. When mixing juice you mix a little, vape. Mix a little, vape. After a while you get a little too much nic doing that. One of my constant juices I get from a local B&M but I have to doctor it to my tastes. I mix some in a bottle, direct drip for a taste... Since it's at a 24 mg nic, I can only do a little at a time before getting too much nicotine in my system and I have to stop for a bit. Also, direct dripping can give you more nic at a faster pace than vaping out of a tank. That's also why, when you go to an RDA, you want to drop the nic level of your juice. In my tanks I mostly use 12 mg nic. When I direct drip with an RDA I go down to 6 mg and get the same effect.
  13. Oooooh, I can almost hear the "MMmmmmmmmmmmm" from here. Lol.
  14. 38 years. For the last ten I was trying everything I could to get off of them. The only thing that worked for any length of time was going cold turkey. That lasted about six months before I fell off the wagon. The next time I tried cold turkey again, my SO asked (very enthusiastically) if he could go to the store and get me a pack. Boy, talk about a foul mood... LOL. Nothing worked for long until I found a co-worker puffing on an e-cig one day. It's a miracle that I haven't wanted to go back to smoking.

  16. I used to order LOTS from them until they screwed up a $75 order. Many people love them but I had a bad experience and didn't get what I would even consider to be "decent" customer service. So now I do not recommend them to anyone and take my money to other vendors who appreciate my business. Just my two cents.
  17. If you go the RDA rebuilding route, then you'll most definitely need an accurate ohm meter to read the resistance of your coils. If you build sub-ohm coils, you will need a battery that can withstand the power draw so you can vape safely. We stress safety here. Make sure you're well versed on Ohm's Law, what it is and what it does. Without it, you can do serious injury to yourself or others should something go...boom!
  18. Have you tried contacting the vendor where you bought the Knight mod in the first place? That would be the first place I'd go.
  19. Everyone will get a different result. Some will like Fasttech and say they get great service, fast shipping. Others will have nothing but trouble with them. I'm one of the latter. So far every order I've made with them has taken weeks to get to me. I'm not talking about batteries, either. My last order was for plastic drip tips. After FOUR weeks, they finally emailed to tell me they couldn't get me the drip tips I ordered. It took even longer for them to get me a refund.
  20. Childproof caps can slow down a child (depending on age), but it's not the magic bullet to making a bottle of e-liquid 100% safe for children. Parents need to be aware of safety issues and keep it in a safe place. Keeping an eye on their child would also be helpful. People who leave things like e-liquid in places where their kids can get to it need to be better educated on what's inside e-liquid and what it can do. All too often the vaping industry is going to be blamed before it gets better. If ever. *sighs*
  21. For us former smokers, getting off the analogs makes a difference. We can taste things better and things taste so good!

I use Panasonic 18650 3400 mAh in my VTR. Like Earthling said, that thing lasts forever. Personally, I would only use the battery as is and wouldn't take the chance of something going wrong by trying to change a battery to make it fit.
  23. Thanks for the additional warning. We do harp on safety first, and this kind of thing is exactly why. Glad you weren't hurt.
  24. That's great! So, did you vapers convert and smokers?
