One of the first things I tried was to pull the center pin up. Great minds, Earthling, but that didn't get it going. Then, I tried the other ego / 510 connector but that didn't work, either. Are you saying I shouldn't firmly seat the connector in order to make it work? I'll try that next time. I was suspicious that the iStick wouldn't work no matter how much charge was left if it didn't have enough oomph to fire the atomizer/coil but at 5.6 watts, I didn't think it would be an issue. Do you know where I could replace the connector with a better one?

So my new Eleaf iStick 20w has been working great since I got two of them in a few days ago from the Vapor Talk store. I have a question for those of you who are more familiar with them. Today, one stopped working -- the "red" one. The display said there was no atomizer. There was a fairly new Custom Cisco Hybrid HH.357 atomizer at 2.0 ohms on it at the time. I tried taking it off, cleaning all connections, making sure everything was finger tight when I put it back together... the battery display said it was still half charged and I was using it at 5.6 watts. Tried the atomizer on the blue iStick. Display said "no atomizer" again. This was on a fully charged battery. Tried the same atomizer on my Vision Spinner and it fired right up. Put the Nautilus mini with a 1.8 ohm coil on the red one and it read the coil at 1.8 ohms and fired right away. Tried the HH.357 again with no luck. Has anyone else have something like this happen to them? Any wild theories to throw out there? Once I recharged the red one it worked just fine with the HH.357. Frankly, I'm puzzled about this.

What best electronic cigarettes that you have use?

There have been a few of these lately... a little more than normal that I've seen. -
I think you guys scared him off. LOL

Nope. Never lost the tiny mini Bics because I always got the box of smokes and kept the lighter inside of the box. Yeah, the new iStick mini is much smaller than I like. It took some doing to find a comfortable grip on the iSticks I have.

Did you clean with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol? That helps. Then, before you try putting the battery onto the charger again, pull the center pin up on the battery. It might not be making contact... Whatever you had on it might've pushed the center pin down so it's not making contact with your battery charger.

Aspire Nautilus Mini - Hard to Disassemble?
Tam replied to JohnnyFog's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Cutting a small square of those rubber shelf liners, I keep those near me and they help keep a grip to get the base off my Nautilus mini. http://www.amazon.com/Duck-1100731-Non-Adhesive-12-Inch-20-Feet/dp/B002AS9NAI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1420772754&sr=8-2&keywords=rubber+drawer+liner -

What are lipo pack mods? -
Have you tried it on a different charger? It could be the battery's fine (but needs to be charged), but the charger is toast.

The information on batteries vary as widely as our choice of tanks anymore. I'm with you, I'd like to see some better and more accurate info. -
The iStick I just got is plenty small. Are you saying they've made it even smaller???

That's the link that Earthling spoke of. Some of the information there might be of help. -
Homemade 50/50 not as thick as commercial?
Tam replied to JohnnyFog's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
Your reading tells you right. PG is also way thinner than VG so that might be something to work with. -
While a Vivi Nova is nice, you might try a bottom coil tank like the Kanger Pro Tank 2 or 3 with an Aerotank base. Add some 1.8 ohm coils, some 40 PG/60 VG juice or 30/70 and you should be getting plenty of clouds. Something else to try would be a Nautilus tank with a 1.8 ohm vertical coil. That gives plenty of vapor without having to go to RDAs or RTAs. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

ParkwayNightmare reviews 5 Fadora Vapor Flavors
Tam replied to Compenstine's topic in e Liquid Reviews
Looks like you've made a new fan, Comp. We already knew how good your juices were. -
The first time I tried it (it came as a free sample in my order), I didn't think I'd like it. When I tried it, though, it made me pucker just a little bit like a real cranberry would. If you decide to try it from The Vapor Room, make sure to take the extra time to read their FAQ first. They give away a free 10 ml bottle of a juice of your choice with your first order as well as a 3 ml sample.

To me it tasted like a real cranberry but just a little bit sweeter.

The Vapor Room makes some really tasty Cranberry juice.

Anything from Fadora Vapor, but most especially from the Signature line. Queenside from Five Pawns. My all day vape for over two years now is still Feels Like a Nut (FLaN) from EC Blends. It's Almond Joy flavored. I buy this by the 125 ml bottle at 50/50 with extra sweet added in 6 mg and 12 mg nic.

70/30 would give you lots of throat hit -- depending on nicotine level. Higher nicotine = more throat hit/harsher vape. Earthling is spot on with the information he provided above although I've done 30/70 in my Kanger tanks before without much of problem as long as I'm not chain vaping.

This may sound weird but I found it also helps to exhale through the nose and mouth at the same time. I get a better taste of my juices this way -- others I have coached in vaping also seem to find more flavor while doing this. Might give that a try?
