I know that within a year after switching to vaping I will purchase and try every brand and most all of the better mods, if only to collect them. But I'm worried about how long it will be before I see the Mod of my dreams. I want a vp thats no longer than a 510 and sleaker still, even lighter. One that only needs refilling and fresh batteries once a day. A vape that produces more vapor and a better throat hit than an analog makes smoke. And only cost me $2.50 or less a day.

Yeah, these were older people,(50s)and he was pretty sceptical. You r right, of coarse, but I'm wondering now what to say to someone who might think that nicotine is expelled. I don't know. I'm pretty certain that all the nicotine is somehow catalized or something. I mean, how often do you find non-smoking/ex-smoking bartenders hooked on second-hand nicotine? Is it even possible with nicotine, you think? I honestly don't know....

:P Yeah my sister just got her 510 the other day and she came to dinner last week. She's been usin' it for like two days and is all pissed off when she walks in because all day she hasn't been able to get any vapor out of her brand new 510 mega. I guess Jeff at Wordup gave her a free box of carts with her order. She bought all kinds of stuff. A PCC, and even one of those small e-cig cases. So Jeff threw in a bunch of free sample stuff. Well she's just been usin' the carts, I guess and hasn't really got into her new juice flavors yet. She's all upset cause all day she can't get any satisfaction out of it when it worked just fine the day before. I pulled off the cart and noticed that she's had an empty cart(no batting) in her 510 all day! She's says, "well I wondered why the atty was gettin' so hot."

We probably all know what it's like to be approached by people who have questions about the e-cigarette. But last night I got a question that frankly really stumped me. I was talking to a highly sceptical non-smoker, who has never smoked, who's wife was really wanting to quit analogs and seemed really curious about my 510. I got a new one last week. It's got the mega batt and it's stainless steel. She thought it looked really cool. So I'm talkin' to the wife, and she's acting like a kid, she's so excited. I let her try it even. It made her cough pretty bad. Of Course, I'm usin' 36mg juice. But her husband looks at it like its some kinda drug paraphernalia. I say all the stuff that we say about how its H2O vapor and doesn't give off second-hand smoke. I told her about how much cheaper it is than analogs. And I can tell this guy is just convinced that I'm some how rippin' them off. I mentioned that you buy them over the Internet and might as well of said that you have to buy them from Satan! Well she's just all into it and I can tell she really wants one bad but her old man just isn't impressed at all. He finally asked me about the nicotine and he asked me whether the nicotine his wife was exhaling could be inhaled by him or others. I was so dumb-founded by the question that for a second I couldn't respond. He noticed this and I think he thought right there that he had figured out the catch or something. I asked him if his wife smoked analogs around him and if he's ever felt addicted to cigarettes by being exposed the second-hand smoke, but the damage was already done, I think. By not supporting his wife's desire to do something positive about her smoking, he may be hurting her instead of protecting her from Satan. Anybody else have experiences like this?

One thing I found thats a bit better, I think, is placing the spring the other way(perpendicular to the mod). I think the spring slides in just a little deeper, accomadating a little more batting. seems to work better, I think.

Maybe your not using enuf batting. Is the batting really loose?

I tried this mod on my 510 today and it totally freakin' works. I've only been vapin' for 20 days and have only been drippin' for like a week. The only thing I don't like about dripping is the leaks. I never drip more than 3 drops at a time, but it stills leaks a little when you first fill it. I get a much deeper draw, and better vape with this mod. The taste is fuller and if done properly (which isn't hard to do)the 510 provides an even better throat hit. Leaking is virtually non-existent. I wouldn't doubt it if we start to see the industry adopt this mod in some way. If I was Chris I would be racing to the patent office.

What impressed me even more is the security escort that followed the aircraft from the hanger, down the runway, and then met it after touchdown. Was is just security or did they have something to do with balancing the wings too? The wingtip langing gear falls away on takeoff. I suppose they may recover that after takeoff, but do they somehow help with it after touchdown too?

Is it me or does it look like this guy lives in a closet? Forgive me for saying so, Talmadge, but I spent 3 years in Germany while I was in the army. I can understand most of what he said, and in fact he did say that you were a bastard.....Just thought you should know....

Your friend's aunt who is a respiratory therapist obviously doesn't work for the FDA. Because they approved a nicotine inhaler a few years back that is being sold over the counter by thousands of pharmacies world-wide as a nicotine replacement therapy that they say is perfectly safe. This response was cheerfully provided by a RN with 22 years of professional experience who happens to vape like a mad man while texting on his cellphone at speeds exceeding 75mph. Is that bad? Is that wrong? Should I not be doing that? lol, Nobody gets out of here alive.....

Glad to hear your doin' better, bud. And hey, if you think an analog could sometimes take the edge off, go ahead. I certainly won't tell anybody. I'm glad you PM'd me last night. Chris has really got his finger on the pulse of these things and he runs a fantastic forum. He couldn't be more correct about how all this works. And I'm sure that we all look forward to reading about your experience...

A fantastic idea, Bud. Finally I have a use for all the 5-hour energy bottles I usually throw away. I love this product and recommend to all my friends that drink those stupid, huge energy drinks that are choked full of sugar and crap......

Hey Bud, sorry to hear that your feeling a bit down today. Quitting analogs can be tough, but I'm betting that your gonna do just great. These e-cigs really work well and you couldn't have come to a better forum when it comes to support. Check out my post about seretonin and how nicotine and anti-depressants effect seretonin. I've been a nurse for 22 years and I've been completely off analogs for 18 days now. I quit analogs the minute I started vaping and haven't look back since..... The post I'm refering to is in the news section under the topic about Dr. Seigal's article about Chantix Vs. E-cigs...I think you might find it educational....

I'm lovin' it, Keenan. And I'm sure that as soon as I get my new passthru and batteries I'll love it even more. But I do have to say that all this talk about the VP2 has me pretty curious. I also started dripping with the filler batting too. I think I like it better. I remember you telling me that you still leave the batting in, Keenan. Have you tried it without yet? I think it makes the taste better.

If I leave my 510 battery in the charger over night will it cause problems?

Just a note about the nicotine you consume....Although an analog cigarette can in fact contain between 1-3mg per cigarette, numerous independant studies indicate that you actually only absorb 0.1-0.2mg through the act of smoking.
