Mark got a reaction from daleron in I Keep Returning To Analogs :-(
I agree with Wendall. You have to really want to quit and stick to it. If you fail a few times just think of how many analogs you avoided and build on that.

Mark reacted to kitsune in Fighting the crave
Personally....I say, have a cigarette. It was the best thing I ever did. about a month in...no cravings up to that point...then out of no where, I got a craving. Mind you had gone into vaping without intending to quit smoking, it just happened. I digress...had a smoke, and almost threw up...it was so nasty. It cut the final cord of ever want to smoke again. That was a little less than 4 years ago.
The more pressure we put on ourselves to quit....the more anxiety we develop and makes the cravings worse.
side note....be very careful with the 30mg....can make you feel like ****

Mark reacted to TheDude79 in I'm new from Chi-Town. Hi everyone
My name is Dave.
I am 33 from Chicago
I've been a smoker for 16 yrs. I been smoke free for 3 weeks, but a heavy vapor. I love vaping and my favorite is menthol cinnamon liquid. My current set ups are;
Silver Bullet orange/black from altsmoke
BB black from altsmoke
Ego twist 1100mah
Joyetech Evic. Love the evic
All are running with 3.5 ml vivi nova tanks and the ego twist runs with evod clearomizers.
I am new, so any advice on putting pictures up would be appreciated. Looking to sell both the silver bullet and the bb. I am more into VV and trying to get the Provari 2.5.
I can't wait to explore this site and see what it has to offer.

Mark reacted to snubber in CHAT ROOM
We use to have a great video chat here. As many as 9 people could be on cam at once, and there was still a txt chat to go with it.
It was "THE" place to be on Fri and Sat nights. Joe2003 can vouch for that. Not exactly sure what cause it to disband. We just sorta dropped out of sight. People move on and start doing other things, lives change etc. I do miss it tho...made a lot of good friends here and I'm sorry it came to an end. Would be nice to try and get things back together again.

Mark reacted to Ricketts in Heart Rate and Lung Capacity
LUNG CAPACITY: I'm 79 years old and have been using the E-Cig for only 6 months. During my recent annual physical, the Spirometer test indicated that my lung capacity had almost doubled. Obviously, I'm quite pleased. For exercise, I bicycle every other day for about an hour, but last year's test showed no change so I must attribute my improvement to the E-Cig. HEART RATE: Vapping straight nicotine gives us that "hit" and I had concern about elevated levels when vapping. Using a digital heart monitor, I made numerous tests both before and during heavy hits, finding no significant difference, and on several occasions, a reduced heart rate which, I assume, was the calming effect of mild nicotine use. I use both 16mg and 18mg levels. For further improvement, the doctor recommended that I definitely continue biking inasmuch as the lung sacs that are now being purged require exercising to attain maximum capacity. For those of you who have experienced improved breathing using E-Cigs, I highly recommend regular exercise. I know, it's boring and hard to get into, but it's a lot like substituting E-Cigs for analogs -once into the benefits, you become a little obsessed with it. I'm older than most -if not all- of you and I do it. So can you.

Mark got a reaction from Tam in Bunch of Noob questions
Coils vary on what voltage they're used at as well as what juice you may be using. I've had no problem getting a month out of a coil. As far as the mix goes-assuming you're using equal amounts of each, you would end up with 18mg juice. I am able to keep track of what juice is in which mod by using my #ModHolder which has spots for the e-liquid right next to each mod I have the juice in. Did I kinda answer your questions?

Welcome to Vapor Talk and congrats! The smokers cough and other symptom vary from person to person but I've found it can be anywhere between 3 days and a month before they go away but it is well worth it. Good luck on your journey and if you have any questions there are plenty of people here willing to help you.

Definitely good work, Mark!!! Hadn't thought about doing that for my PVs, as my collection is still relatively small....but, I'll get a couple from you in the future. That is, if you're still doing them by the time my collection gets up to that kind of size, LOL!!! Currently, I'm using a $2 plastic toothbrush holder from Target. The holes are elliptical, and measure around 2.5 cm across, and about 3 cm top to bottom. So, a 22mm mod should be able to fit in there. I'll let you guys know whenever I get one to test that theory...

Definitely sweet.... I have a few ideas for a wall mounted PV shelf going to make soon, right now using cheaper woods to make mine until I get the designs worked out I'm going after than going to use some maple, oak, and walnut to make the final projects
