Try adding a new coil. It could be you are getting the taste of the gunk from the coil. It is always best to add a new coil when you clean your tank. Soak the old coil in Vodka for 24 to 48 hours to clean it. Water alone is not enough to get a coil clean.

That study may be old, but gives a good view on why you need less nic with newer devices. I started with Cig-a-likes that use a 3.5 ohm coil. Now I use between a 1.2, 0.8 and a 0.5 ohm coil (depending on the setup). The cig-a-likes did not have any wattage or voltage controls. They also did not produce the vapor you get in today's devices. Being able to lower the ohms and raise the wattage I'm able to get the vapor I like. Introducing more vapor into your lungs provides more nicotine and there for, I get more nicotine per draw.

I'm not big on smoked food. But, our camp fire cooking adds a nice smoky flavor to anything cooked on it. It is a lighter smoke flavor that I like better than a heavy smoke taste.

I have cut back on my nic levels, but it has more to do with the equipment and low ohms that I vape more than what I'm taking in. The higher watts and lower ohms do a better job of delivering nicotine. Glad to hear your cutting back BD, I wish you all the best luck in succeeding.

The DNA200 chips are $80.00ea to order 1. I know they are getting a volume discount though. I still think it leaves room for custom boxes at a higher price. I may just look into one of these. I still would like the chip to build my own box. I would like to know what battery pack they are using and what it is rated at. The ones Evolv recommend are only 900mAh and 27amp. Seems to me it would be a battery pack that would be on the charger a lot.

The only mice my cats get are the furry ones with black eyes. They like bringing them in the house for play toys. They just don't get the concept that they are outdoor toys only. LOL

LOL Adversarious1 you can still help From what you describe, the PG content and Nic are somewhat low. What OHM coil are are you using? If it is a 0.5 then the PG and Nic could still be a bit on the high side.
