  1. @Tam I usually get about six weeks to a coil just casually vaping daily, so I do get 3 months out of each coil with very little effort. But like you mentioned, they're pretty inexpensive now. I am going to start making my own coils, being retired and all, it'll make for another nice hobby. [emoji847] Sent from my iPhone using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  2. @ Walt, we even have the same name, Walter here, pleased to make your acquaintance. [emoji846] Sent from my iPhone using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  3. That's great info Walt, thanks. I've learned a lot from this forum and YouTube. Also, my neighbor has quiet the set up so I've fooled around with coil building and it's actually easier than i thought when I was a noob a couple of years ago. Every aspect of vaping becomes more clear with a little patience, knowledge and experiences from other vapemiesters. Sent from my iPhone using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  4. Hey Walt, what kind of wire do you use for your RBA's? I'm going to start building my own coils and was wondering if ss is best overall. I do want to stay away from Ni200. Sent from my iPhone using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  5. I was wandering if anyone had tried cleaning used drop-in coils for extended use using any of the many methods on YouTube? I tried it on my coils from several tanks I have and I get about 3 months of use per coil vaping daily. Once cleaned, they are practically like new. Ive only cleaned each one twice so I've never gone beyond that as I suppose I've achieved the max value from each coil. Any positive/negative experiences??? 9. Would it be possible that the notches on either side over saturate the coil? I tried putting in just enough juice below the notches but the same problem occurred. Sent from my iPhone using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  10. I'll try a higher VG, don't have any on hand though, but I'll get some. Thanks for the help folks!!! Sent from my iPhone using The Vapor Talk mobile app

  12. I need some words of wisdom. I have a Smok XPro M45 which has vw & mech modes with a Cubis Pro tank which came with coils. The Joyetech BF Coils .5/.6 ohm coils work great. When I drop in the Joyetech NotchCoil .25ohm, it gurgles, spits, boils and gets really hot. I've tried both wattage and power modes and have adjusted the watts and airflow and can't get it to work. It's rated 30-70 watts and I've tried going a little lower which doesn't produce much cloud but still gurgles and increments of 5 above 30 to the max I can go of 45 watts. Appreciate any help folks and much thanks! Sent from my iPhone using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  13. I found out about the VT store/website through Groupon in Canada and I placed an order for the Bekuali starter kit. I see that Groupon still has it though I've read a couple of reviews that mentioned once they purchased the Groupon and directed to the site, folks found the Bekuali starter kit cost less on the site than with the Groupon. The starter kits are a great intro to vaping and to the VT site and I purchased several for friends and family to try. Great deal at only $10 bucks! 14. Hi everyone, well here I go again with a noob question, please forgive my ignorance. Is a drip tip the same thing as a mouth piece? The reason I'm asking is I want to change the mouthpieces of my Joye eGo AIO and Joye eGo D16 AIO or other mods I have ordered. Thanks so much folks! 15. Thank you all for such great input. I've learned a lot with the different topics at the VT forum and appreciate how helpful and thoughtful the folks are here. I went on YouTube to view how to make coils and ejuice, but it's not something I'm keen on at this time. I did learn a lot about the differences between RBA, RTA, RDA & RDTA's as well as cartomizers, clearomizers, tanks, batteries, 510 system, mods, chargers and health and safety. I was so intimidated and overwhelmed by it all but now find it pleasurable and exciting when I shop at the VT Store. I suppose we all were noobs at one time and a little patience and education goes a long way to rid of anxieties of the vaping world. [emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using The Vapor Talk mobile app
