The ProTank 1 is such a simple device. The only reasons for no airflow, coil working or not are:

1.  Blocking airvents at base with fingers or such.

2. Plugged airvents At base

3. Plugged chimney or drip tip

4. Plugged coil

I had the protank1 many years ago when they first came out It was a very simple tank I ran on a Provari as a newbie..
That said I can't remember having a problem with it..I took it apart for cleaning regularly, changed coils alot, especially when I was changing flavors..hope the OP figures out how to fix the problem..wish I could help more...
