That is for adjusting the pulse duration of the 555 when in PWM mode.

Quite a rig there @Mrspivey!  I'm impressed for sure.  Definitely not a beginner mod.  First mod I've seen with user definable pulse width.  Makes perfect sense however.  Love it!!!

Nice one! Finally mixed up another batch so tried it with your additions of apple and sweetener. Nice but had to pump the cream back up as it was a touch over cinnamon (added a splash of custard too seems to round it out nicely)

Yeah the govad is a beast but you kinda have to run huge coils in it and when you still have to run it at like 75w almost defeats the purpose of a single coil but flavour is amazing on it!

I have come to believe the cinnamon is a flavor that hits different people very differently.  A friend gave me a huge bottle of juice that is a peach cobbler.  He simply said try it and throw it out if you don't like it.  All he could taste was cinnamon.  The stuff tastes great to me.  I get plenty of peach.  Another beatitude of DYI.

Nice one Walt may have to give it a look in. I remember you were quite fond of the ole single coil rtas so when I seen a Govad pop up for sale cheap on a fb group I jumped on it. Thing is a beast I've put my rdas and rdtas away since I got it. Flavour city!

Hope you been well ole friend haven't been on as much as I used to.

Glad you like it and glad you dropped by!  I don't think this one is quite a "Govad"; close though.  Still diggin the apple pie!  My favorite desert!!!!

  4. @Tam & @Adversarious1  The Triton 1 came in today.  No go.  The RBA coils still don't fit just right and flood like crazy.  I'm going to give up on the RBA Triton coils now.  Not a big deal.  On the brighter side I like the Triton 1 better than the Triton 2, lol.  I put it on the ML Class at 16W with the 1.8Ω coil and it puts out a vape that I really like.  Should make the battery last a while too, lol.  That was always an issue with the ML.  Seemed like three puffs and time to change the battery.  Really nice loose MTL with a lot of flavor.  I don't mind stocking coils for that.  I willing to bet with the 50/50 citrus blend I use the coils will last for awhile too.  Happy as a clam.

Single?  As in single coil?   Is this a variable watt device also?  I'm still trying to figure out these new devices.  I've been out of the loop for a while.

Oh my!  You have been gone a long time.  RTA stands for Rebuildable Tank Atamizer.  It is just the tank   No device.  And yes it's a single coil tank.  No worries, you'll be back in the loop in a heart beat sticking around here.

  6. It's an RTA.  I'm not going to try to babble endlessly about it.  24mm, Clamp style, three bottom feed airflow holes.  Clamps span both sides of center mounted screw downs so no worries about direction of wind on the coil.  Up to 3/3.5mm coils are fine.  5 or 6 wraps spaced span the air holes nicely.  Thin the wicks a little.  Not a real finicky deck.  First build 2x26+32 fused parallel SS Clapton on a 3mm post gave me .23Ω.  No leaking, no dry or even semi dry hits.  Popped it on a scoundrel mech and it performs very nicely.  Very good flavor, lots of fog.  There are a lot of really nice single coil RTA's out right now and this one ranks with the best.

@Walt Peppermint Mocha Latte is a winner........... after a couple of trial and errors of course. There's just a hint of peppermint, which is just the way I like my peppermint mocha!

Is that the one you posted or a new one?

  8. I'm not 100% sure what we're talking about here.  The term "Phix" is eluding me.  If you are just talking about taking a few drags off of a cigarette then I'm 99.9% sure you are fine.  If you are talking about something else, at least a call to a nurse or doctor would probably be your best bet.

Little late to the game, but not too late.

Might I suggest a Lemo 1 (if you can find one)?  This is an awesome, and in my opinion highly underrated, MTL RTA.  Single coil deck that is really easy to build on.  It's kind of a PITA to fill, (a needlepoint bottle is virtually a must), but with MTL you aren't burning through as much liquid.  This was actually the second tank I ever bought and I still keep it in regular rotation.  I should have hit up one of the local stores during their "going out of business" sale...they had about a dozen marked down to $5 a pop.

I found a Eleaf Lemo 2. and an Lemo drop.  Which one do you think would be closer?

  10. I feel safe to comment now that @Squid and @Tam have responded.  You have heard from two of the Masters-O-Vape.  I don't yet have a year but I surely don't suffer from any of what you describe.  I've not talked to anyone who has.  So simply enough, stay with the testing and try to know for sure what's going on.

Haven't had enough coffee to kick start the brain so bear with me. On the plastic box that the Triton tank came in, does is say Triton 2?

Is there an airflow adjuster on the top just under the drip tip/mouthpiece?

Not to worry.  I snooped a little on line and the Triton 2 does not have an RBA option.  So what I got were Triton 1 RBA kits.  If you would like them I will shoot them off to you.  They aren't bad to build.  Nobody has stock of Triton 1's anymore that I can find.

Please let me know how you do with those. I've got several but never used them since I've been able to get the premade coils.  :)

OooPsie!!!  Well, they build up a lot easier than I thought they would looking at them.  I used 5 wraps of Kanthal on a 3.5mm rod and got about 1.5Ω.  Had to do a little adjusting with a needle nose pliers so the coil didn't touch the vapor chamber but nothing too difficult.  Coil fired up nicely.  But.... I went to put the base into the tank and the realization came.  They changed coils between the V1 and V2 of the Triton.  No workie.  Threading on the top of the coils is entirely different.  Oh well... Want a couple more coil kits?
