  1. Welcome NewDrip. Pretty cool over here. Much more friendly than other forums.

Yeah, it's cool here. I been on some that really try to drag you into the gutter, but I don't go down easy.

  2. Oh, I also forgot to mention I am vaping 50/50 juice right now.  I am hoping with this setup I will also be able to vape both lower nic and higher PG juices, but if not I am still just hoping for a more satisfying vape.

You will be able to do all that you have and more. You will not be let down at all. As long as you keep your wick moist and some good juice, you'll be satisfied. FOR ME subbing is the real vape world. The only thing I hate about sub ohm vaping is that I didn't start sooner.

  3. I wanted to share some of my favorite builds.

Tiger Coil 24g 316L wrapped with 9mm flat ribbon wire .2 ohms

Short Leg Quad Verticle on 3 post. 28g Kanthal 6 wraps .3 ohms

Infiniti Coil 28g twisted kanthal 16 total wraps .3 ohms

    MY ALL TIME FAVORITE
Dual Clapton 24g 316L wrapped with 32g kanthal .15 ohms

Brillo Coil  3 Wire Twist  9mm twisted flat ribbon wire then untwisted with 24g 316L  28g kanthal   .2 ohms

A mad 3 wire combo, white hot.

A note of caution, from my experience if you get a sub ohm device you definitely need to lower your nic level in your juice. Sub ohming gives you a very concentrated vapor and at 24 mg nic it made sick. I would keep the nic levels below 10 mg and you will still have the same affect as 24 mg nic. A lot of sub ohm vapors keep their nic levels around 2-6 mg.

Oh yeah, you will get a better everything with that set up. I have the Kanger subtank and I don't have any issues with flavor or vapor production, even at higher wattages.

  5. cool looking, i assume you would want to wic that with a single strip of cotton like one would lace a shoe? How was it performance?

Fires real good with a cool vapor. I didn't think to wick it that way, but I sure will try it, Thanx. It's mounted on a Hades RDA with a deep juice well so I wicked 6 individual strip to pull the juice from the well. I do all my vertices builds that way. I can get 10+ hits from this build. Here's a couple more pics

  6. I spotted this post while cruising the Internet. I just joined today because you guys have the same interests as me, coil building. I came over from a different site because there was a whole lot of interest in the art of building a boss *** coil. I'll probably be posting some of my builds here. This particular coil I call the Olympic Rings. I haven't seen this coil anywhere else. If it's not original please post a link. http://forum.e-liquid-recipes.com/t/what-coil-build-do-you-prefer/13470/18?u=newdrip

I think I learned how to upload photos.

  8. Thanx fellows. I've been browsing this forum for a couple weeks. There's a lot of activity here. Figured I'd dive in. Right now I'm really into rba/rdas and coil building. I saw a lot of good posts and photos. I figure I can gain some knowledge here and share some of what I have learned.

  9. I just want to say hi. I go by newdrip and it's a pleasure to to join here. I'm not new Vaping but I'm fairly new to forums. I'm a member of ELC, ECF and VU. I've been vaping for a couple years and recently started making my own liquid and sub ohming. Just looking to get my feet wet here and hopefully have something to contribute.
