  1. What model of Kanger is it? I had a couple of their tanks that were supposed to be the latest and greatest thing and they all leaked like a screen door. I personally will never purchase another Kanger product again. You shouldn't have to tinker with things to make them work like they should brand new out of the box.
  2. I tried one of the 20 watt versions at my B&M when they first came out. It worked great but the buttons just seemed really loose and it didn't seem heavy enough to me. Like I'm pretty sure if I would have dropped it as many times as I have my MVP already it probably wouldn't work anymore. Not bashing the product or anything but they were 50 bucks or so at that time and I saw the MVP for 30 so I just ran with it.
  3. If you're gonna buy an ego or pen style battery I highly recommend the Vision Spinners. Get the 1300's and you can't go wrong.
  4. I have an MVP 20 watt as well. I tried the istick and to me it just seemed kinda cheaply made. I went with the MVP based on its track record and am glad I did.I plan to gat an Mvp 3 soon if they come down to the 40 dollar range. Who knows though. If there's a 40-50 watt version in the works I'll probably wait for one of those.
  5. I guessed it would have been the center pin or the need to be cleaned as well. I'm with earthling as well.I've had a couple of spinners that lasted about 5-6 months and crap out. I also have another one that's about a year old that has survived being dunked out of the kayak a time or two. It's been my primary for about 6-8 months until recently. It's a very reliable backup now.
  6. Vision Spinner 1300 mah. That's what I started with after the blus and they worked for me. I have 2 that I still use as backups. Like others have said here paired with a mini protank or even the Aspire ET-S. Very inexpensive tanks, easy to change coils and produce great flavor and clouds. I have a couple that I use in rotation daily. A setup like this you could probably find with a battery and 2 tanks and a couple of extra coils for 30-40 bucks tops. Best of luck to both of you.
  7. 705 puffs in 2 days before the light on my MVP turned orange.
  8. I love the Bvc's. I was using Aspire BDC'S until one day my B&M was out so I got the BVC'S instead. They are awesome. I have an Mvp 20 watt with a Horizon Spartan mini. It came with BDC'S but they have what they call a BTC. Bottom Turbine Coil. At 13 watts it's very nice. I also use the Aspire ET-S with the BVC. Best cheap clearo you can buy.
  9. Gonna hit 60 on Sunday. Gotta love the weather in the south.
  10. 14 here -5 with the wind chill. I honestly don't see how you folks who live in the north do it.
  11. Right. I think I'm gonna stick with single coils to start.
  12. I'm not looking to subohm at the moment. What gauge wire would you suggest for it. I'd like to build somewhere in the 1.4-1.8 range and using organic cotton balls.
  13. Looks like a pretty decent one. I just may hit the checkout now button this weekend. Hate it but the one I'm looking at is an EhPro clone.
  14. I don't think there are any that go any lower than that. If there are I don't know of one. I just graduated from spinners to an Mvp 20 watt myself. Loving it.
  15. How do you like the Stillaire Tug? Looking into rebuildables and thinking about one of those.
  16. Awesome. VV definitely did it for me. Now with VV and VW it's a whole new world.
  17. Yes it looks very interesting and I was actually considering getting one myself.
  18. I looked at the istick at my B&M. I never thought I'd want a box mod but I really liked the features for the price. It did feel sort of cheaply made however. I ran across a great deal on the MVP 20 watt and was sold. If you don't mind the box form I would say MVP all the way. You can find the 2.0 and the 20 watt versions anywhere from 20 to 40 dollars.
