  1. If you're not interested AT ALL then what comp showed works but once you find a setup that you like it takes 5 minutes to do and you can keep it on there for a VERY long time. The initial search for the right build is tough but I found it within a week. Mind you, I was building 4-5 times a day to try out different things but still... It really depends. It turned my vaping into a hobby more than anything
  2. I started with the same set up as you and it got me off the cigs but never really stuck. My first real purchase was the emow starter kit and that was a game changer. I still have the little battery to my disposable kit(same as you currently have) and I threw a aerotank mini on it to get a better taste and all around vape experience with it. The battery is great but the clearomiser... I would suggest another. and when you go there, might as well get a goo starter kit!
  3. Perfect! jsut got 2 more 5s from my shop! Can you beleive theyre the ONLY shop in town that still has them? Did they stop producing them or something? theres probably 10 shops downtown and 6-7 vtc5s left haha
  4. awesome! thanks earthling! I kindof saw the yes and no answer & elaboration coming haha i tend to over simplify things! ... espcially on fridays HA!
  5. 10ml emerald glacier 30ml Dew drop 2 VTC5s ALMOST pulled the trigger on a magma & a zenith... but given the weekend coming up ill see if I have any more play money haha
  6. wouldnt the juices taste depend more on the heat produced by the coil. how fast it heats up and how much it heats up? which is probably in direct relation. Is that dependent on the watts & volts? I thought it was just the resistance or that they all worked together... where you would have a 1.0 ohm coil that could heat up as fast and as hot as a 2.0 ohm coil depending on the wattage and voltage you throw at it. and then thats where the safety comes in because the battery would have to be able to handle that much watts & volts... Maybe im seeing it all wrong and I dont want to polute the thread too much with my own misunderstandings haha
  7. anywhere between 1.4-2.4 should be safe to use right? correct me if im wrong. If its safe though then it shouoldnt matter. just adjust the volts or watts and find your sweet spot with whatever resistance. Personally I didnt check the resistance on the coils I bought (baught? I forget how to spell that) just trusted them to work out... maybe im too trusting
  8. would a place like fastech have them? they seem to have everything... Ide search but... limited access to internet at work and fastech doesnt fit their standards for productivity haha
  9. would you say you were addicted to shisha? If not then... I wouldnt risk getting addicted to something else. but you could vape 0nic juice.
  10. Personnally I mix flavors with another minty one to get that fresh finish like a menthol does. I dont see why you wouldnt be able to do that with a tabacco flavored juice to get a similar taste as what she had with her cigs! just gotta find the right tabacco flavor and the right ratio for it not to be a winter rush in the mouth haha
  11. IMO 3$ is worth saving a few days to play with a new device!
  12. Welcome! Dont be shy, no stupid questions here!
  13. Not from personal experience but ive heard nothing but greatness from the orchid. not sure if the tank capavity is too small for your liking but aparently its an amazing RBA
  14. What's the difference between the 4s and 5s?
  15. Yeah sorry. I find .5 difference to be a lot. But then again... Not sub ohming.... So it might only be that for me .5 is the difference between blowing myself up. And chasing... With tanks I RARELY check the ohms. But if there's a difference in the vape I would just play with the voltage until I got what I wanted
  16. definately the last thing I would suggest to anyone! hahaha im laughing alone at the office... what a day!
  17. youre clearly a few paces befpore my understanding of ohms law and everything else haha Good to have someone who knows quite a bit actually! I hope you didnt take it the wrong way or as if i was "babying" you, just dont want anything bad to happen! haha cant wait to see some of your builds ! :P
  18. that would be a great start actually... if youre new to vaping jumping head on into dripping will definately be satisfying your urges. that being said, need to make sure all saftey aspects are set. I have the hades also and it was actualy my first mechanical mod. hope you like it but please be very careful when building to make sure nothing gets too hot or blows up etc. Would you mind giving us the list of what you got? ohm reader. kenthal guage. wick type. tools battery specifications etc? Just want to make sure youre well equiped for this since usualy dripping is further down the road into vaping haha dont get scared, its not as complicated as people make it out to be. as I said just wanna make sure youre as safe as can be!
  19. welcome to VT! dont be shy its a great bunch!
  20. alllllll my attys would do this. personally think it was just condensation... whenever it got to be too much and i would feel it become kindof like sipping a straw in an empty cup but a lot less intense haha i would simply clean it out...its a constant issue on all my attys but then again... TO ME its not an issue. That oring idea is a great one! Im gonna try that today actually!
  21. I did!!! my bad..... ***hangs head in shame*** It should actually be the first thing you buy! Im not sure... ive read various opinions on that, I personally dont see much of a difference... except now that my hades is giving me trouble... hits only a third of the time i press the switch...very anoying.. gonna get a copper 26650 mod if I can only find one I like. But back to the post! it relly simply depends where you want to go with this. either way... start small and see if it works for you. (hopefully it does!) and then start exploring different avenues
  22. welcome! have you tried the cigar flavors? you might find something you like in there!
  23. seriously! i think you understood the concept of backups!
  24. I started off with the same kit! the best advice I could give you is to keep a backup ready to go. did you get the starter kit with one or two devices? the backup isnt an issue since I doubt youre going to forget to charge it or whatnot but if something goes wrong the battery is a dudd or the tank breaks or WHATEVER happens. then at least you have a backup instead of going back to stinkies! take your time with this one since its a great device. after doing research youll find a bunhc of different paths to take with learning curves of their own. Have fune with it & sincerely dont be shy to ask ANYTHING. some people are scared to ask questions at first since they have usually been answered in previous threads. Dont be shy and if ever you want any advice you can always PM me personnally. I dont mind answering the same questions 100s of times, as long as im helping you stay off sitnkies haha. Im not a pro but I have taken a few steps into this and its turned into a hobby more than a cessation technique. Welcome to VT!
