  1. what other habits have changed? Alcohol consumption recently? Work related? excersize habits? there are a LOT of factors... Personally been having the same thing lately and its simple mood swings from a previous diagnosis.
  2. completely true! even with my regular nautilus there was a fog that would get installed in whatever room iw ould be vaping in. I guess it depends on the OPs desired effect. and youre also right about the juice. the ratios make a rediculous difference!
  3. welcome and dont be shy to ask ANYTHING!
  4. if you dont want to build at alllllllll and really are sticking to tanks and premade coils I would suggest the nautilus mini. but as said previously, dont expect "clouds". there will be vapor but nothing close to what could be produced with a dripper
  5. oh I didnt notice the king kong was a 26650! well in that case... Plume would be nice looking since its a simple atty. kindof like the stillaire you know? not curves or rings or notches if you knwo what i mean.
  6. nice job! im really debating going into that... gona start by getting a few more mods just incase things dont turn out as well as yours did hahaha... which im ordering tonight... unless i feel too bad... but then again i paid my tickets and i could treat myself... :P
  7. in this case it depends on the time youre willing to give to building. The first couple weeks are usually the ones where youre going to be building a bunch of coils since 1. its new so its fun and 2. to find the build that will satisfy what youre looking for. That being said once you get through that little patch of experimenting, its A LOT easier and less time consuming. My everyday build takes me no more than 10 minutes to make and its good for a few weeks to a month until i WANT to build again, not that i actually NEED to. If you change flavor often you can simply change the wick which takes all of 30 seconds to do. The initial set up with the tools and ohm meter etc is what you need and of course the atty but I can guarentee that you will discover a whole new side of the flavors you use and a massive improvement in throat hit and vapor production. Since you will be building your own coils, you will be able to fine tune it to find your sweet spot. I personally thought that dripping would be too time consuming before I actually got into it and as I said, the initial search for the right build was fun and now that i have found it it takes no time. For actual dripping, once youre set up and wanna go vape. honestly, it doesnt take that long. I persoanlly make sure ive vaped all the juice so that if ever i set down the mod, there are no leaks through the airholes. we joke about it often but hitting a red light while driving is more than enough time to pop the topcap off drip and pop the topcap back on. if you really dont have 30 seconds to do so when you want to vape then i would suggest an RTA, in that case you can build it at home comfortably and before starting your day fill up the tank and go. mind you, since it will be burning through more juice you might have to refill it half way through the day. IMHO if youre able to take the time to take a cigarette out of a pack take a lighter out of your pocket and light it up then Im sure you would be able to find the time to pop on and off a topcap to drip and enjoy. Not to mention stopping at a store to buy cigarettes everyday or so... Some people dont like dripping at all but I would suggest to try it if you feel safe enough to do so. If not then there are a bunch of tanks that can deliver great flavor and a little more vapor like the nautilusmini (aparently one of the best for flavor, I have the regular nautilus but it isnt close to what kind of vapor and flavor i get with the dripper). when you will actually be building, it all seems a lot more complicated than it really is. where it does get iffy is when you go into super sub ohming. If you follow what people normally do and the setups they use the batteries the mods etc. I dont think you will be unsafe. its when people start experimenting with set ups that havent been proven that things could get dangerous. I personally dont have any calculators to follow ohms law or anything except my ohm meter to know where my resistance is. When I build i test it before i put it on the mod. adjust the coils so they are clean and simetrical and the wraps are touching etc. and then retest it on the ohm meter to make sure its still at the ohms i wanted it to be. I simply have taken into consideration what people have used and the builds they make and made something simple that fully satisfies my needs. dual 7 wrap 24g around a 1.6-2.0mm precision screw driver. its a really simple build that I love. puts out 0.25-0.3 ohms which I know isnt too much for my mech mod and battery. that being said, I am careful not to drain my battery too much. rule #1: BE 100% SAFE. Its a whole other world worth peaking into.
  8. yeah because the current doesnt only go through the thread but when they touch the curent goes from one wrap to the other also.... itll also go liek this lllllllll ----> lol p.s. im an artist with my diagrams hahaha
  9. found my sweet spot with 24g too :P ! how did you do the patina? just heated it up with a torch until it was glowing then shoved it in the freezer? simple as that? could you put picks? I was tempted to do a patina on mine also but i didnt want any green or pink or blueish coloring in it... just like a brown or black fade or something kindof like the darker luxe mod but faded... not sure that makes sense but wtv haha
  10. Personaly love my stillaire 18650, havent tried the 26650 but i do have the bigger tobh and Im less than impressed with it! I just cant seem to get a build that works for me in there so Ive put it aside for a couple weeks. my building at home time has been taking a back seat to a new game I got haha Iknow I know... im a kid! Personally going to stick to 18650 rdas just because of that experience PLUS i want to get a new mod or 2... or 3... ugh... i feel your pain with the spending... its rediculous!
  11. I would see the mephisto, patriot or magma on that mod. thats just me though... and out of the 3 I would tend to lean towards the patriot. Get the SS and then get a copper drip tip. the slight two tone is gonna look great thats just my 0.02$
  12. what I used to do was to buy a pack and give it to a coworker. when I was having a really horrible day or the urges were too strong I would ask him for one. I had no shame in bumming a cig since I would give them out to whoever needed. karma i guess. either way the gradual decline of actualy smoking was what worked in my case. some days i would have a few and other days i wouldnt have any and now if i have one(because it still happens from time to time socialy) i find it completely grosse and regret it after 2 puffs. im completely turned off the "habit switch" and thats what works for me. might not be what willw ork for you but dont beat yourself up. see it as a step in the right direction as you said
  13. I kindof gave more general info up there... but heres a few questions for you: Do you mind getting into building? do you want a tank for its juice capacity? Are you chasing flavor or clouds or want a bit of both?
  14. drippers RDA / rebuildable tanks RTA. An RTA could be a great in between for you and ive seen a few people produce massive amounts of vapor with them! There are quite a few, kayfun/russian, my personal favorite was the kraken(never had one but found it looked really bad a*s) So in that case you have a tank to supply juice and more vapor production. also the flavor is more pronounced, or so I hear. Personally went from tanks to drippers and have found the transition easy, since I only vape at the same intervals as I used to smoke, 5-10 times a day. i usually take 3 seconds to dxrip and then pop the cap back on and vape away on my breaks from work. at home I dont really chainvape nor did i chainsmoke either. so i drip and vape and set it aside. both are really great exceptttttttttttttt and I hope I dont get shot for this. ive heard a lot about RTAs leaking. they hold juice and have the airflow a dripper needs = a highchance of leaking. and ive had my drippers leak too, if i dont finish the well thats in there and put the device on its side then i will for sure have a nice little pool of juice on the desk. I went strait into drippers because of that: less parts = more simple(in my mind) so I got myself a stillaire and started experimenting with builds. started looking for builds around1 ohm and then gradually went down to 0.25 ohms as I got more confident and felt safer with what I was actually building... as long as you use the proper tools and do everything with safety as the priority you should be fine! Im no pro but if you want tips or whatnot you can always pm me without the worry of being judged or called out on whatever questions you have
  15. yeah I remember in your earlier posts, was hoping things were looking up so you could jump onto that deal. well hold in there, "the night is darkest before dawn" (forget what movie thats from but makes sense
  16. seriously though mkauthen, you should check out carterb's post in the member classifieds. that deal is insane and would set you up for AT LEAST a year or 2. anyone set on tanks: this deal is insane!
  17. i must have a doge... cant find them anywhere here though so I might have to resort to online
  18. have you found the magnets for the cartel? I would definately want to know where you got them if you do find some!
  19. prolly only going to try it when I have a few PV that I dont care about and even then... I like building, it soothes me! but after giving it more thought, water +batteries doesnt sount like a good mix in my mind.
  20. Was making a video to show plumes then I realized I was bopping and thought it wouldn't be the best start lolll
  21. They back themselves up. For example in Mad Men, theres constant smoking and drinking on the job... the ratings protect them legally
  22. glad you found it! I was totally off haha my bad!
  23. yeah that is going to be a heck of a job to do... but worth it! whats it look like when you fire it without the top cap? i would be curiouse to see a video... or if its legit inside the atty then... I thought it was only when you fired it when only the coils were there. hence the residue going off... MY B!
  24. its the placebo effect. whenevr I see people caughing around me even if im in a designated area for smoking. since my PV puts out probably 10x more vapor than a cigarette would put out smoke people tend to go nuts. a couple have asked and a few have made remarks but as soon as they did, I politely informed them of what it was and how it works and they apologize every time and try to awkwardly laugh and turn away.
