  1. Thanks! I thought mod was more... modification to an initial set up. And thats after weeks of reading up... I guess a few things havent sinked in! So let me rephrase... I want a VV or VW FO SHO!! Im not yet ready for a MOD.... at least I dont think so since Ive seen theres a lot of safety that goes along with it.... right ? Twist im into, smaller ego-ish im NOT into since Ive got one and already am getting another just cause.... you never have enough backups! So looking for a bigger baby.
  2. Congrats! glad to see that youre taking great steps in this hobby! Initial set up sounds great too! little peice of advice: get a backup! Especially at the begining, I personally went back to analogs a few times when my ego died and I wanted my nicotine fix too much. I know its only been a week and that thing is probably always charging but its just my 2 cents! And I wouldnt want you to go back to cigarettes for the simple reason that your battery died! What I like usually are the flavors with a bit of chill. I found menthol flavor to be too much especially on the throat so I got this one called peach blast. exactly what the name says. its peach with a slight fresh "chill" at the end! Its gonna take time to find the right flavor/density/mod/tank/drip or not.. etc!!!! the possibilities are endless! haha Have fun with it !
  3. The title says it all! What do you think takes it? Keep in mind this isnt for dripping (not sure if it even applies but rather say it than it becoming a debate) Any big differences? (Im dizzy reading everything I can and need some "dumbing-down"... Throw up some pics and put your vote on the poll!
  4. Hey guys I fell across alibaba.com and it seems to sortof function as a type of amazon. Only reason Im browsing that site is that its not blocked at work hehe... Anyhow! Have any of you ever ordered from that site? I dont want to order anything online unless I have legit info regarding its authenticity. On another note... Im looking into getting a MOD Now Ive seen A LOT of different things on this forum and randomly scoping. Im kindof loyal to this forum so I might have biased expectations. Basicaly here is what I want (and I realize wanting something and it being a reality is 2 different things) : Adjustable Voltage & Wattage(although Im not sure what wattage brings me yet, I havent found anything explaining it clearly enough. I guess Im too visual and Im having trouble grasping that concept and difference between the voltage vs wattage) I wont be dripping since I simply dont have the patience and just rather load a tank and go. Not a fan of the tube you shove a battery in kindof mods, not yet anyway. I would rather something like an ego that I unscrew or even better, plug in and thats it for the battery. Basicaly not have to take the thing apart. I would like to know how much voltage or wattage is being pushed either by a wheel w/numbers or a display. Estetics: Would rather some sort of gold incorporated. Silver works. Black is great but not all black. copper not so much unless theres more silver. Not a fan of doom and gloom or the tesla looking mods. grenade looking or weird colors (pink blue green etc) I want it to be pretty big but not the size of my foot haha sortof like the atomo or tesla or you know ... like 5-6 egos taped together ahaha I know this can be a wide range of mods but im hoping you can share experiences with some that you have or that you have tried or that you are even possibly selling. I basicaly know what I dont want, but the hard part is finding what I do want. (worst client ever ahaha) If you guys have pictures to put please do! Thanks a lot for your input and hopefully I find my next mod in here!
  5. Take it this way... Ive been vaping for about...2-3 months now. I still have a lot to learn. I got my first started kit and when the disposable tank+coil went out (about a month later) I went and got myself the first "real" set up (Kanger EMOW). Its awesom because of the adjustable airflow and adjustable voltage. IMO if you want to start experimenting with different strengths and whatnot get that. its a decent price and not too big so you can still go stealth. Now my original disposable one, I kept the battery for a backup because it happenned a couple times before that one would die and I was stuck "jonesing" for my nic fix. And trust me when I say this: after 1-2 months off analogs, when you finally have one, you will regret it 99% of the time. the taste, the throat, the ahsma (i probably spelled that wrong but wtv). Then I set it up with an aerotank mini, which keeps the slick small size and with the adjustable airflow its a beauty to get more "pull"... youll find your preferences. SOOO... enjoy your first and see if it does the trick. then, start checking differnt flavors and if you get into it then start getting a solid everyday device. one that you can maintain by changing the coils and whatnot. NOW if that works and you want more (like most of us, if youre on a forum looking into all the different mods and setups people have. You will go and turn your "backup" into a nice MOD, big, brass, stainless, box, Variable EVERYTHING, monster looking mofo! Enjoy it and have fun with it, I hope you can keep off the analogs and end up enjoying this hobby as much as we do!
  6. How is the snow wolf? Ive been looking into mech mods and she looks like what I would love. can you give me any specs in pm or how you find it stacks up against other devices you use?
  7. You guys are right! Im gonna keep a low profile for now until legitamate and recognized studies have been made. Hopefully big tobacco doesnt dabble too much in discrediting our vaping! Thanks guys!
  8. Thing is Im north of the boarder. (montreal, canada) The only issue there was pending more info was on airplanes. and basically the transportation law makers told the canadian airlines to decide for themselves if they would allow it on their planes or not. Tthere are no regulations yet. From my understanding in the US it depends on the state. Some are saying "im not making a decision so do whatever you want" and other are saying " until its proven to be safe we dont want it around". that being said... its still unregulated here. So i would like to have as many facts as possible before having the discussion, as I am actually the chairman of the health and safety comitee (as ironic as it sounds). haha!
  9. I'm starting to get tired of not being able to vape indoors at work simply because of the negative conotation and relationship it seems to have with analogs. If you guys have ANY actual studies (by known PHD or universitys, not Dr.Smith from university of wikipedia) I would love to see them!!! I'm going to be pleading my case to the office pretty soon but would like to be ready for any rebutles. Was going to start comparing it to caffein, what do you think? I've seena couple studies comparing the two and even 3 on this blog but I'm having trouble beleiving them... Any factual stuff would be great! Even any ideas as to how this debate could be won would be awesom. I've also read that it does introduce more nicotine to the surrounding area kindof liek second hand smoke. True or false? Thanks a lot everyone!
  10. Thanks tameiki! Probably just the delivery system is a lot better. Havent really chain vaped since I changed devices since this is exactly what I was trying to avoid. but probably just the water thing... usually 2 liters is what I would drink in a day and today im kicking it up to 3. it seems to be working! Thanks again!
  11. Also love the AT mini! Last night thats all I used back home! Just started not long ago so I cant really compare but I especially like the fact that I had to pull a little more compared to usual.
  12. im confused... i thought I had this lingo down... multi voltage battery versus a mod?
  13. would bringing down the mg in your juice be the only way to do it? Or, could someone vape in a less condenced timeframe for example or turn down the voltage or something of the sort?
  14. Hey everyone, This might be the stupidest thing youve heard and Ive braught up my own conclusion but I wasnna know if youve experienced it. Long story short: baught a new kit since yesterday and today my head hurts. I never get headaches so i dont know if its a mild or an intense one. (i actually never get headaches). Now I usually stay very hydrated so that shouldnt be an issue. Could it be that since the actual vapor is of better quality? I went from a disposable to a emow Im guessing thats it but like I said ide like to know what you think
  15. SO yesterday I got my beauty. an EMOW kit. and I decided to set up my first ecig with a little upgrade today. so i ditched the disposable tank since it burned out anyways and went and got the aero mini. absolutely love it the guys at my shop through in a nice gold tip and some juice too so it was a win! I especially like tha adjustable airflow... kindof got hitched onto that with the emow!
  16. Same issue with me... although Im thiking its really just the habit of having a beer and the taste of a regular cig... I tend to vape constant when drinking but it never satisfies me as much as the actual smoke.. IMO its a question of habit and getting out of the drink=smoking routine Kindof like having a smoke with your morning coffee or after eating etc.
  17. Cant post pics and its driving me nuts haha. I just got an aero mini today to go with the first ever vaper I got with the disposable tank. She is a thing of beauty! Saw the atomo....i want.... so bad... Im thinking of getting the atomo with the nautilus aspire tank but theres this replacement tank that has a sort of decorative metal cage on it. looks so bad a**!!!
  18. No idea what happenned there sorry for the double post... Stupid iphone
  19. Work for a bank and we see this 24/7!!! Whatever free trial you see online, no matter what it is, even if you absolutely NEED IT. Don't. Just don't. Exactly how he said. They'll charge you something stupid like 2.99 and the products either never show up or get there a month later when you're already subscribed and see 100-300$ being charged for the next shipment. Which either never shows up or takes forever to get there. Then the wheel keeps turning. The amount of fraud claims we put in are rediculous. Now. PLEASE don't take this the wrong way. But anyone that is usually older than 40 are the ones who get caught. There probably was a lot of legitamate free trials 15-20 years ago but now they're practically all scams! I guess younger generations have grown up with the internet and have seen so much b.s. Advertising online that they ignore it 99% of the time. Either way it's not even an age issue whatsoever but it's a trend I've seen with substantial experience in the matter. I hate getting a call from a sweet 75 year old granny that thought she was getting a bunch of free cosmetics and now has to wait through an investigation to get her pension cheque back... Horrible! Stick to reputable sites or ones that a friend suggests. Personally I never order something from somewhere online that I haven't had someone close to me order from before. Happy shopping! 20. Hey everyone! So after spending the day on the forum( no joke about 5 hours at work) I decided to join in! I'm from Montreal, north of the boarder! Vaping is catching on real quick and it isn't yet regulated. Not sure how it is in the states or in different states for that matter. Been vaping about 2 months. Started off with a basic set that didn't cost much and it figures as it crapped out on me this weekend. With camping and drinking and bla bla bla I got a couple analogs but hated it, especially the taste! So today I went and got myself a stock kit. The kangar EMOW. Not sure how it stacks up next to certain beasts I've seen here but I love it! Has 3 outputs 3.7(red light) 4.2(green light) & 4.8(white). I've had it on 4.8 but found the juice running down quite a bit! Also has an adjustable air flow which I love since if I wanna go stealth at work, turning it down to 0 makes it as quiet as breathing. Tend to throw 18mg juice in there and a full tank lasts me the day. That seems to be the norm around here. Not sure how it adds up to analogs though, IDE have to do the math. Undecided on if I would start my own mods yet as I like to stay stock but given time, I'm sure I'll end up creating some sort of beast as I've seen in a few of your collections. Looking forward to chatting with you and learning more and more! You seem like a great bunch really respectful and full of knowledge! Actually converted about 7-8 people in 2 months haha smokers seem to wanna kick the habit without going crazy withdrawals, which is perfect with vaping. Talk to y'all soon!
