  1. im gonna get a pack of those and give them a try! In the nautilus theyre placed in an "x" formation. How are they in the mini? stacked vertically?
  2. vaping 70/30 juice. 2-3 ml a day. 3.7volts from the mec on a nautilus tank. i change the coils every month even though they could probably last longer regardless just for maintenance. My first ecig had a disposable atomizer and that lasted me a month with the same habits. It started burning the wick it tasted nasty etc. Since i have something built better it hasnt gotten burnt at the one month mark yet. FWIW
  3. I usually change them once a month regardless of any factors on my day to day mod. on my backup i uised it only a month and then when i put the new coil in, 2 days later i got a new mod. If ever you think about it let me know what it looks like !
  4. Need to know what youre using and at what strength and your vaping habits to try and compare to my own
  5. congrats!!! You will also find out that you were miossing out on some tastes and smells! i wasnt a heavy smoker and my taste budds still changed and even smell a LOT better now! its quite nice actually! even your hair and teeth get stronger! dont beat yourself up for having an analog once in a while. its a mental thing thats gonna just switch off at one point. youll have one one day and find it completely disgusting and then BAM! its over! dragon: ive heard that the nautilus tanks taste a little more (people rave about the mini i personally have the regular). if not then maybe step into the world of rebuildables. it all depends what you feel ready for! do a bit of reasearch and tutorials on youtube. youll see that it isnt as hard as people make it out to be!
  6. http://www.mtlblog.com/2014/08/quebec-may-ban-e-cigarettes-vapes-in-public-places/ I hope this doesn't pass... We need reputable studies made ASAP!
  7. Then there goes 5$ of silica off my order! I'm gon' find me some rayon!!!
  8. any sites you know of have rayon? or is sally's a site lol?
  9. damn it... im gonna have to redo my cart...it didnt save
  10. yeah Ive seen similar reviews... which worries me... but then again its a one stop shop which is what attracted me to them. versus other sites ive seen i would have to peice together a few things here and there and pay seperate shipping etc... tomorrow will be decision time on that full cart!
  11. with that budget you have A LOT of options. sortof sounds like me... and options get confusing haha. What do you want to use it for, what are you comfortable with? are you going to be having it out on a desk or in the car or in the pocket or stealth mode? because we could go a number of different directions here! If you need something a little more... pocket friendly (size) I would recomend the vision spinner 2 with a nautilus mini tank. I have the regular nautilus and aparently the mini gives even more flavor. Plus, it should be roughly the same diameter as the spinner which makes for a nice sleek fit. and then some juice. and even there... youre gonna be around 100$ TOPS. Now... i opted for an EMOW by kanger. it was great and pretty much on par with the combo i just mentioned. it really depends what you like. and then i got hooked. and want to go bigger and have something that would last me for a while in this hobby. I went into a mecanical mod and got my nautilus tank. it fits great, spits great. and its very simple. if you end up wanting to start rebuilding and dripping etc etc its usually what people will recomend. thats why i took the step right away. hades mod clone+2 26650 3500MAH batteries(very long lasting, 2 days approx with my vaping) + battery charger + nautilus tank +replacement tank(just cause i liked the look) + aspire dual coils replacements + juice. and I got it all for uner 200. Im pretty sure it was about 180 give or take. this would be more if you didnt mind the size and whatnot. The thing is now I want to get more... its a never ending thing with this hobby, until you find your sweet spot where you are completely satisfied. So now im looking into rebuildables and drippers and more mods etc etc. online i was able to find EVERYTHING i needed for 180 + shipping. if i didnt have the batteries and charger i would probably be at 230$. then again im going overboard with my order getting a couple mods and 3-4 tanks... reasonably speaking i could get no mods and one or 2 tanks but... im a big baby and just grabbed everything i wanted haha) Then there is the VV/VW devices. variable voltage or variable wattage and some do both. if you dont mind the box look, a lot of box mods are amazing and the choices tend to be simpler. if not then you can go into provaris or seigel or vamo or any tube looking VV/VW device. I personally liked the ones with the screens to tell you where you were vaping at. it really depends where you want to go with this. Im one to try different avenues and go the simple route. thats why I like Mec mods especially since they give me more latitude on the atomizers i can use. Trust the people here (apart from me) Im still pretty new at this and just getting into rebuildables now after a few months. the guys and girls on this site are amazing and help A LOT. if you take a look at my posts youll see all the great advice they gave me in each transition from my disposable all the way to now going into RBA/RDA! most of all, have fun with it!
  12. I actually wanted to start with 32g! if it doesnt do I'll find more at the local shop. Im debating on the drippers.... they look effing awesome.... but I doubt im gonna need them now... but i know i will in the long run.... hmmmm
  13. I couldn't figure out which were which with the kenthal they give thickness in mm not gauges. And couldn't find cotton but I'll be tweeking the cart tonight. I was thinking cotton as well. Most builds I've seen used cotton. Is it just cheaper? Or are there more noticeable dofferences
  14. I've heard that too but I love the look so much...
  15. Here's my cart... I don't think I'm missing anything... Didn't let me put 2 pics? Here's the rest of it!
  16. What's your take on fastech? They seem to be the only place that has everything I need... Kind of a one stop shop. The only thing is that I've heard mixed reviews on them...
  17. I couldn't ask for a better response! Thank you so much! I always thought a coil would end up burning out more easily than a prefabricated one for some reason. Well, here comes another shopping spree!!! I hope I don't bust my vape budget this time... Although it would be the first time that would happen hahaha
  18. After spending 4-5 hours looking at tutorials on youtube about building last night and today looking at different RBAs... I feel that its the next step for me. It seems that most builds people post about are for RDAs... Now Im a tank guy and dont really want to be refilling/ dripping 3 times a day. I would be comfortable with filling it once a day. 1. Im thinking that something like the kraken or the 91% russian/kayfun(aparently the same thing) has a tank that feeds the wick. please correct me if im wrong. I think 2-3ml with my current tanks is what i vape durring a day. 2. The other peice of info I cant seem to find is how long the build will last. My curernt tanks (nautilus, emow) I tend to change the coil once a month regardless of if the taste is still good. Simply, because i want to avoid being stuck with a bad coil. Im very cautious and always have spare coils with me and juice bottles and of course a backup. Unless im stepping out for an amount of time where I know i wont really NEED to vape. 3. Given the case where a build would last me a week to a month. Another thing I would like to do would be to build multiple ready to go coils already wicked for me to just test on an ohm reader once right when building and once before installing since I would have these at my desk at work and at home. I would buy individual miniature ziploc bags to keep them in (the kind used for "other things"). Is this plausible? Or, would I really have to build them one by one? Now, I know there are a LOT of safety issues to take into consideration which is one of the reasons I dont want to go into subohm-ing. Not yet anyway. But trust me when I say I am very cautious and even if it isnt important AT ALL, if I can build then test then store the coils for a while. I would FOR SURE retest them before plugging it in. I'm guessing the taste is going to be a nice difference too. Also that the juice consumption is going to go up. Would I have trouble appreciating my nautilus afterwards for more "on the go" kindof vaping (taste/nic fix)? I cant stress enough how much you have all helped me so far and I appreciate the advice already given and look forward to the advice yet to come! I do apologize if there has been some rediculous NOOB questions before haha. Just a guy tryin to make his hobby progress!
  19. http://youtu.be/5t1EUm10NyY Looks amazing... I want....
  20. wow! This is so sad, I loved him! made me cry how hard I laughed throughout my whole life!
  21. This one goes out to all the Provari users! I was doing some browsing and ended up checking out provaris... anyone know when this one is supposed to come out? wanted a new VV/VW and ive heard nothing but greatness from provari. Is it really up to par with what the fans say of these devices. Also debating waiting for the 3 or going with the regular provari. Input from both sides are appreciated, lets just not let this become an argument
