  1. lesson learned: do not try to build a coil that you have never tried before with your last bit of wire.... I built this damn thing, I dont like it and i wont have anymore wire for at least 2-3 days.
  2. Im right there with you bebop, it sounded to me like there was just a free floating piece of 28g inside some cotton lol.
  3. Im a little confused as to where the 28 guage is
  4. crush, Ive been thinking about building that coil for a long time lol, how does it compare to a normal center post build?
  5. have any of you tried the adjustable airflow tips? just picked one up yesterday, it basically does the same thing as venting out of the side of your mouth except you dont have to leave the corner of your mouth open.
  6. ya, if everything is working right and they are legit panasonics there should be no problem, I use a panasonic with my KFL and nemesis at 1 ohm.
  7. I wish I was into vaping when i was in afghanistan, it was nightly cigars and a pack a day when i was there.
  8. I agree grail hunter, that is one of my favorite setups
  9. magneto is dependable and cheap, I have one and never had a problem with it, as far as bottom coil RBAs, I would recommend a KFL.
  10. Yes I was referring to sub ohming. I should of specified.
  11. So, I'm curious, what is everyone's daily vape setup? mod, tank, coil? and why? Mine is a cartel mod with a stillare RDA 7 wrap center post build with 24 guage (I pretty much exclusively drip now) I think these two go to together very well, its smooth, looks good and the coil on it just produces amazing flavor. The reason I ask is because I always see people posting what they just bought or what coil they just tried, but there is always that one setup you cant help but always revert to.
  12. what set up are you using? because if you are using low ohm coils I would not use panasonic batteries.
  13. if its the 6 piece phillips set, I like to use the medium sized one
  14. you can take apart the button by using your finger to unscrew from the bottom. (if i remember right)
  15. I just got a cartel mod, you can spent about 30 bucks for one on ebay. brass connections, simple mechanics, and just all around quality in my opinion. I had a maraxus and I wasnt very impressed. is it a vtc4?
  16. People see me vaping and come up to me and say "I heard those things cause heavy metal deposits in your lungs over time" or something along those lines. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this or is it media blowing things out of proportion. Just curious if anyone is well educated on the topic.
  17. I think what you have is the Maraxus. When you built the coil what did it read at on your ohm reader. Additionally, hot buttons are usually caused by cheap springs, so you may want to order a better spring and just replace that
  18. it takes a lot of practice, trial and error and youtube tutorials, you should have a pretty loose draw on an RDA so if its tight then you might want to slowly open the airflow until it feels right. Additionally, and im just trying to cover all basis here, make sure that when you put the top cap on that the air hole is right next to the coil. with that wire at such a high resistance youre not going to get super clouds like you see some people doing, but it is important to work your way up to that as opposed to just jumping right into it. Make sure you understand what your battery can handle dont push the limits.
  19. what are these cotton pads yall are talking about? ive never heard of these. I just use organic cotton balls
  20. So...remember when I said I was coming home to a plume veil? Well apparently in my drunken eBay binge I ordered a stillare instead but I'm still really happy with it, 8 wrap sleeper coil with with 26 guage, and it's copper so it looks sweet with my cartel mod
  21. everytime my wife spends money on pillows and other BS on Amazon I keep a tally and use it as an excuse to go on an eBay Vape shopping spree.
  22. 80/20 does it for me on RDAs, and it took some research and a little trial and error, but the air flow is a big deal when your building RDAs. start with the 5/64 and see how you feel and if it still doesnt feel right maybe go up one size. Just be carefull not to make them too big.
