Thats correct Eagle. The MVP is not an accurate ohms checker when building coils. There are many ohms checkers out there that are affordable. Better safe than sorry.
Thats why i havent tried to build one yet. Gotta wait till payday again. My wife gave me a budget on payday for vaping supplies..

I am using a small screw driver (pic below) and running 1.8 ohms.
Would a 5/64 drill bit be smaller? I've been watching alot of youtube videos and the one's that use a 5/64 drill bit 10 wrap with 28ga kanrhal are coming out at 1.3-1.4 ohms. I'm still tring to figure out building coils. My kayfun came with 4 pre-made coils at 1.8 ohms so Im using them till Im ready to actually build my first. Still need a ohms meter. I still have my MVP V2 but everyone says not to use it to check ohms since its not 100% accurate.

ive been experimenting with my kayfun lite plus for the last week and my advise is to keep it simple, 10 wraps of 28 guage kanthal with a cotton wick, melons and berry flavors taste amazing on it (if you're in to that). I had mine on my nemesis clone at first, but ive been using my sentinel M16 clone lately. with the airflow all the way open, and doing a lung inhale 6mg is perfect.
What are you wrapping your coil on and what ohm are you getting? I have some 28ga kanthal somewhere..

I havent tried my b&m's fruit flavors at a lower nic yet. I dont think they actually taste theirs. I believe you do and have taste testers and if you dont like it you keep working at it to get it right. I know i will order from you again. Just have to figure out a happy medium with flavor, nic, pg/vg, etc..

Eaglewatchr sent you a PM about adding Tobacco flavor. For anyone else looking for Tobacco flavors in my line. I will be adding it as an option to my line. That way any flavor I offer can become a tobacco flavor. Right now I can only offer Turkish & American blend and the Traditional M-Red flavors. Just leave a comment on your order when adding the Boost option that you would like Tobacco and which of these two you would like. I'm working on my own blend of Tobacco flavors to come up with a unique blend. With copyrights and all I would rather do my own mix that I can call my own.
I started vapping to get away from "Tobacco" and have just the menthol cool fresh flavor. The menthol i use has no tobacco flavor in it. But i like that cool or cold menthol and at 24mg it doesnt really have a TH but my b&m's fruit flavors are faint and a TH from heck at 24mg. I didnt realize that nicotine plays a factor on TH and possibly reduce flavor.

Well, I guess it's time to leave my b&m juices alone and move to online juice. I've been off analogs since November of last year and really injoyed the camel crush menthol. I liked the cool strong menthol taste. Just need to find a good cold menthol. Might even start dropping my nic since (from my understanding) nicotine gives a TH and can mess with flavor. I see alot of veteran vapers use 6 or 12 mg nicotine in their flavors especially thoes using RBA and RDA's. And since i got my Kayfun i have noticed a difference in flavor than with my Iclear 30S. More play time and listening to the wife complain that im spending too much. Shoot, It's cheaper than analogs..

Ok. That's fine. I have been reading that i guess with fruit flavors people lower their nic but with tobacco flavors they raise it. From my understanding. Could be wrong. My local b&m says their straight menthol is as menthol as they can get it without adding menthol crystals which they say will start to crystalize the lungs.If I hadn't packaged it all ready, I could. It is packed and ready to go out.
I think you will find the flavor quite surprising. That is one thing that I make sure of, But, taste is subjective. If there is one thing I'm known for and that is flavor and not a lack of it. Could be your B&M is doing 10-12% flavor in the juice they have. I do offer flavor boosting. If you find this is still not enough flavor boost it by 0.1ml (Drop) each drop will boost the flavor about .5% to start with and work your way up till it is how you like it. You don't want to add too much or it will start tasting more like chemicals than the flavor you want. -
Its probably too late to ask if you can fix my order to give me more flavor with out killing my thriat? My B&M 50/50 Straight Menthol at 24mg nic doesnt really have a TH. I just dont like their flavors. The flavor is very faint. But if you cant adjust my order its fine. I will check it out any way. May suprise us both. Lol.. Edit: Sorry. Never mind. Just leave the order like it was. Im still trying to figure out how to get a butt load of flavor and the nic i need.Lets not forget about the Nic. At 18mg it is going to have a TH even if it were 100% vg.
When you have 60/40 and 18 nic it will pack a punch.
This is what you will get:
10ml 60/40 18mg at 18.7% flavor
5ml 30/70 18mg at 20.5% flavor
As far as your local B&M they more than likely get the juice pre bottled. That is why they can not change it or they do big batches, then, bottle all they make. This is why I like doing this a bottle at a time, it gives a person more wiggle room to get a juice they like. -
Higher PG will give more TH and burn .... Best thing to do to reduce the TH is go with a 30pg/70vg then add extra flavor to compensate for the flavor loss. I will add a small sample of a higher VG and see if that helps. I normally add a bit more flavor to higher VG juice to compensate for flavor loss as a rule.
Thanks. I appreciate that. My local B&M does only 50/50 and won't change it. So, I'm still tring to figure out how to get more flavor and less TH.
I had thought the PG carried the flavor and the VG carried the cloud. More flavor more PG, bigger clouds more VG. Am i wrong on that? Probably. Lol.

Great thanks. Looking forward to vaping the Grape. Haven't found one that doesn't have a killer TH just hope this one is more flavor than throat burn. I even went with a 60/40 pg/vg in hopes of more flavor and less throat burn. :p

what I like about one of the b&ms I go to. If he has the magnets he will just give them to you when you buy the mod
Yea well, I got my Nemesis from a kid (he's 18) at work. Gave him 40 bucks for the mod 18650 charger and a Smok Dripper RDA that i didn't like. Thought i did ok i guess.

You can buy the magnets to swap out the switch on ebay. They are only like $7 or something.. I bought 2 sets and threw one in my nemesis and one in my launcher v2
They are 5 bucks at my local B&M..

@Eagle, pickup an LED magnifying visor. Its what I had to do.
Could you recommend where to find one? Wal-mart doesnt carry them or im lookibg in the wrong place.

That is the exact combo I have planned to buy next payday. Mabey different mod but not sure until I do more research.
I know many people upgrade the firing button too magnetic.
I love my Kayfun. It comes with 4 pre wrapped coils at about 1.8 ohms. Awsome flavor and better clouds vers the Iclear 30s at 1.8 ohms. Just be easy when putting the pieces together the threads are real small.
And I'm waiting fir my local B&M to get the magnetic switch in stock. Should be Monday or Tuesday..

I finally got a new toy..
Nemesis clone (tobeco) and Kayfun Lite Plus and a Kick and IMR 18650 1600 mah batt. Im loving it. 10 times better than my MVP and Iclear 30s.
Now i just need to find a magnifier that i can set between me and the coil I'm building. My eye's arnt like they use to be. -
Did you make sure the coil was in "tight"? I have to kinda torque mine down or it leaks out of the 510 connection...

Hi, A buddy at work is selling his Nemesis and im not sure if it the Genuine article or a Clone. He wants $40 for it. Comes with a IMR 18650 1600 mah battery, Charger (3.0 or 3.6 volt switch) Not sure if its the right charger, And a SmokTech Dripper RDA. If its the Clone he wants too much. If its Genuine I'm stealing it. So, How do i tell the difference? Thanks.

I've had one for about 2 months now and no problems. I have it on a MVP2 11 watts at 1.8ohms. 50/50 straight menthol. It does leave a couple drops of liquid in the contact. Other than that. No problems here. Then again i haven't found a tank that doesn't leak thru the 510 connection.

Ok, Im lookin for a new tank. Cant decide on the Aerotank or Nautilus. Im using the MVP2. I like then both.
The Nautilus airflow valve locks where the Aero doesnt. The Nautilus has 3 airflow positions where the Aero has (from my understanding) more airflow settings.
Also, Why are people "drilling" out the air holes on the Aero?
Just would like some input as to people's preference. The Nautilus is like $10 more than the Aero at my local B&M.. Thanks.

I have the same setup and love it. I have the Iclear 30, 30s, and 30b. I use the 30b for my Straight Menthol and the other 2 for flavors. The MVP has the ability to charge cell phones, ipods, etc. Kinda neat feature. Will operate on either Volts or Watts. So far im not disappointed with it.

I keep seeing where people are "dry burning" their coils to clean them. How do i go about doing that with the Itaste 30b? Its a bottom dual coil. Thanks.

Anything that doesn't have a sealed 510 connection. I have had the T2, T3, PBC V1, Iclear 16b, iclear 30b, iclear 30s, And they all leak at the 510 connection. Gurgle or burnt taste. Got a Kayfun lite plus. Not one leak or gurgle or burnt taste. Love it. Will never go back to thoes type of tanks again.
