GEFFiCART got a reaction from Patricia in Exploding batteries
Surprised no one mentioned about MOD batteries exploding..
Those joytech c-twist and batteries of that nature have built in fuses and safeties. The battery will shut down before causing any damage. [granted you have a good battery] I can also see how charging can cause to heating but just use common knowledge.
The big thing is with Mechanical MODs and batteries and people that build their own coils. Batteries are only rated to a certain ohm resistance before its too much for the battery and the battery gets compromised. the battery can leak, expand, and if the gasses cannot escape from the mod, explode.
Everyone just please research and vape safely. Don't be reckless in vaping. Especially those who use mechanical MODs. You don't want to build a sub ohm coil and vape it with a 18350.
Just Be Safe

I'd go with a Kayfun Lite

VapeMail from FT
A crap load of drip tips, including but not limited to, white derlin muffler tip, white and black derlin insulators, hybrid drip tips with derlin 510 but SS tip, and a few more drip tips.
Also got my magnets for my nemesis, installed those as well. It also gave me time to thoroughly clean my button since I had to take apart the button. I like it a lot. The difference is minimal but good enough for me, I might add a 3rd magnet in there just to increase the resistance

GEFFiCART got a reaction from tzymroz2013 in Twisted Coils
That coil on the RSST is nasty.
I have 28g and a dremel I might try this soon.
The RSST I want it built like a daily, a good casual vape, not too much vapor but flavorful. Right now I'm at a 1.1ohm 7 wrap with 28g kanthal using cotton.
I love it, its great! And I can chain vape without too much heat or dry hits.
Plus the added fact is looks sexy! lol

GEFFiCART got a reaction from spydre in Help with understanding coil gauge and wrapping
Try looking through YouTube of builds. Pbusardo and RipTrippers are two good channels to look for.
You deff need an Ohm meter or Multi-meter to test out your coils. You also need to know how much amps your battery can handle to know your ohm limits.
Some "standard" tools would be a torch to oxidize your wick and wire. Nail Cutters/Wire Cutters. Tweezers/Pliers.
A brief overview for wire. Kanthal A1 Grade is recommended.
The larger the number guage, the wider the wire
The smaller the number guage, the thinner the wire
Wide wires have less resistance
Thin wires have more resistance
So for example if you're aiming for a 1ohm resistance it'll take more wraps on a wide guage than it would on a thin guage
And all in all its all about experimenting, using a multi-meter or ohm meter. Through experience you'll see what works and what doesn't. You'll also get a general idea how much wrap will get you what reading ect. ect.
