Thanks Uma! The leaking is just a bit, but still had me worried. I also have an Ego-K ( I think that's what it is ) and I just noticed this morning that the tank on that is leaking out the bottom too! But still it's just a small amount. Just a sprinkle, not a downpour Also, even though the liquid is leaking, there is no vapor coming out of the bottom of the tanks so it must be alright.

You can get a multi meter for ohms, amps, volts etc at radio shack, home depot, lowes and so on

A lot of cartos dribble a little onto the 510 connection. It's only a problem when it "leaks" a lot. Toss any that piss instead of dribble.
The sizzling snap crackle pop of a good carto/atomizer is what we vapers live for. UNLESS it's crazy popping juice all over the place, then it means there's a short somewhere, and should be tossed.
You can pick up an OHM reader from say MadVapes or CloudsofVapor and check your cartos and attys OHMs. It will let you know if there is a short. These are especially great for bulk cartos/attys, to test when they arrive, so you can send back the doa ones within the store's short time limit.
With that said, if it's your battery that's snap crackling and popping, take that battery out, toss it properly, and replace with a new battery.

I have had issues with CE4s leaking in my case. CE4s are fine, but next order I suggest trying a Kanger T2 also known as Ego CC Long Wick Clearomizer on many sites. I have never had one leak at any point and other than one Kanger Pro Tank I use at home they are the only thing I use any more. I started with CE4s, they work ok but tended to flood with liquid and all leaked at some point. The T2 is much easier to fill, holds 2.4ml, and you can replace the coil and wicks when they go bad for around $2 and the unit itself with a wick in it is $4.39 at Veteran Vaper in the Marketplace here. I have a couple dozen of them.

It's all good army. we all had to learn them at some point. In the new member forum there is a sticky that has ecig jargon for those of us who don't understand the terminology with explanations of each term in very easy to understand words.

I always read this, and at first ordered 50-50 thinking I would like that but I prefer more PG. Thing is I cannot notice one bit of difference in the vapor production from 50-50 to 70-30 but at 80-20 it really drops off.

Another little tip. I ordered one bottle of 100% PG Tobacco flavor to vape places I want to be inconspicuous like movie theater and airplanes etc... There is almost no vapor if you hold it in for a while, but the throat hit, nic, and feel of it is the same just very little in the way of visible vapor.

Yes 12mg is the amount of nicotine per ml in a bottle of juice. And the 70/30 is the pg/Vg mix ratio. Pg provides throat hit and Vg is more vapor and usually a sweeter liquid. Also pg is propylene glycol and Vg is vegetable glycerin.

Vapedudes Spearmint and Candy Cane are equally #1 in my book. Just ordered 200ml of each lol

As long as the gaskets are ok it should be fine to lay it down. My clearos sit in my case on a table all day at work and haven't leaked yet.

Depends on the clearo-tank you are using. I store mine in a case all day laying vertically on my desk at work and never had a leak once I started using T2 clearos and dumped the CE4s. I occasionally would have a leak with a CE4. My Kanger Pro Tank lays on its side all day at home every day, not gonna risk it getting knocked over and it never has leaked. When at work I have a coozy I keep on my desk for pens and highlighters-markers etc and I stick it in there all day but mainly because its easy to grab and take a pull in my office.

I dont think it matters in the least unless you have a faulty clearo or tank that is prone to leaking.

If it's a quality tank/carto/clearo whatever it should be fine to lay down. i leave mine in my pocket all day with a clearo on it and it never leaks. that being said most of this stuff is made in China so if it does don't be surprised lol

Well... the 555 I've tried is still a little on the sweet side. Kind of like a mix of tobbacco, caramel, and some kind of nuts. If you want something that has no sweetness at all, go for a tobacco flavor that describes itself as SPICY. Clove is usually a great bet for this.

Had the same problem in the beginning, couldnt find a good replacement for American Spirit Blacks, they all seemed sweet or smelled like old socks, as one of our compadres called it.. Try a 555. I don't care for tabac flavors anymore, but I'm usng up what I have by mixing flavors, coconut works great for me, but also remember your taste buds are out of wack from analogs, and what tastes good today is gonna be nasty in a month...Good Luck!

Personally I feel it will go by way of the headshop mentality. This is not a candy flavor, this is candy apple tobacco flavor. Which I feel is the wrong route but... What are ya gunna do? Crazy markups, intimidating teenage pot heads with rings in there lips. It they cut Internet sale that is. But then again maybe places like cvs/Walgreens/wal mart will step the game up. Killing the small business aspect altogether. Hopefully you have a dedicated shop of nothing but e-cigs with enuff local bissness to subside the lack of Internet sales.

Using that flawed logic they should be looking to ban many non-ecig products as well, ie: fruit and other flavored liquors, etc. The contempt I have for the US govt. can't be overstated.

While we don't know what the regulation will be, I've been chatting with a few individuals via email over the last week. Though speculation, it's believed that the FDA may ban any flavors that are not tobacco related. So essentially Menthol, Tobacco variations etc only (No Candy like flavors which could deem attractive to underage users) It's likely there will be heavy restriction on liquid creation. Now this isn't' necessarily bad, but it depends on what is required. Licensing, regulation and production requirements will always lead to higher cost naturally. It's also likely that states will follow suite with taxation.

There's also rumor that online sales may be terminated at some point (which most of us have speculated) but at this point, it's all educated guessing. (and would require further legislation)

Keep your eyes open and your stockpiles up.
