  1. OMG 11mg is very low imo. I started with 18 and that didnt do it. I couldnt feel the "hit" at all and was unsure. Then I got 80%pg-20%vg in 24mg and that was the ticket. Its no wonder you are still having cravings as a heavy smoker using 11mg. What PG/VG% are you vaping? What type of setup do you have?
  2. Another thing that has made a HUGE difference is the clearomizer I use. I started out with CE4 Visions (V2), also called Stardust, and have since switched to Kanger T2 also called eGo CC Longwick Clearomizers with replacement heads. They have two breather holes in the bottom for air to mix with the vapor, but I have found putting a small pieceof tape over one of the holes to be the perfect delivery system. They never leak out the bottom or get gurgly like the CE4s did and are the only ones I use today.
  3. I have found a slow long draw into my mouth followed by an inhale-quick exhale is the ticket. Throat Hit is what it sounds like, the feeling of the vapor hitting your throat like smoke would form an analog. I use 80-20 or 70-30 liquids all 24mg for the throat hit and have found the sweet spot on my spinner for my 4 flavors I go back and forth between. I use the Traditional Tobacco more than anything but also like a few other flavors. I asked the same question and since nicotine is quickly absorbed there is no need to hold it in. In fact, that reduces the vapor you exhale and makes it less like "smoking" when you need a substitute right now. I am now 42 days without, my wife is 38 days, and for both of us the craving is all but gone. It takes time, and everyone has a different approach. My wife takes a drag, inhales, takes a drag, inhales, takes a drag, inhales, then exhales. I feel like I get a better hit if I take one large slow drag then inhale-exhale rather quickly.
  4. I personally was so ready to give up analogs that I have not had any issue whatsoever. I am at the point where I prefer my e-cig to analogs, but what it took for me was finding the right liquid and set up. I tried all the fruit flavors and some other sweet flavors and none were satisfying to me at all. Once I got my first order of Traditional Tobacco from Sweet-Vapes in 80/20 24mg nicotine I never looked back, the urge went away. I am fond of the taste of tobacco. I see so many on here that say they try and stay away from it, but for me it was imperative to have something similar and for me, this is it. As a disclaimer there are plenty that do not like this flavor, and in no way am I trying to get you to order from them, just sharing what worked for me. I never had any irritability or anxiety, in fact I have all but quit taking the anxiety meds I was on while smoking analogs. My wife also has quit, but it was not as easy for her. She kept a pack in her purse and smoked it over the course of a week when she first started vaping but then found her "satisfy me" flavor in VapeDudes Spearmint and Strawberry Fields. Personally I think it is mental, not physiological, since you are still getting the nicotine (probably more than from analogs) and any withdrawal is from habit. What type of equipment are you using? One of the things I hated at first was constantly having to worry about having batteries charged starting with 808 stick type from the mall. Then I got a eGoT 1000mah starter kit with 2 batteries which shortly led to two Vision Spinner 1300mah so now I never have to worry about one dying and being without one. You will get there, its a mindset. Its not easy, and each person is different.
  5. I have a couple bottles of 100%PG I use for such situations, almost no vapor at all. Never had a problem whether it be a plane or a hospital and have done both lol
  6. Thats what I had planned to do and have done at the lake so far this year, just treat it like i do my IPhone and I will probably be ok lol.
  7. I second the Vision Spinner recommendation, but I bet the twist is good too. I just got the spinner first and the battery life and performance is awesome.
  8. Yea the only thing I would have with me is my battery and full T2. Everything else will be in the condo. Just wasn't sure just how much care I need to take to keep it in the shade and not let it get too hot etc... I only need one flavor, my tobacco flavor, when drinking beer and if I'm on the beach, in usually drinking beer lol.
  9. I have never owned a Mod, not sure I ever will. I am only chiming in to second the Vision Spinner recommendation. I love my spinners. My eGoT 1000mah instantly became backups. Charging time is about 4.5hours for me pretty consistently and I vape all day and night but find 2 is plenty for me. Having access to a charging area at work helps since no matter if I am home or at work I can charge one as soon as it dies and switch to the other. The battery life for me is around 28-36hours depending on what I am vaping and the settings I use. I prefer 3.5-3.8v for fruit flavors and around 4.2-4.4 for my Tobacco flavor and Spearmint all with 1.8-2.2ohm Kanger T2s.
  10. Yep I have yet to get that discount, I always seem to order at night lol. and they are discontinuing it on 6-15 just fyi.
  11. As I am only a few days away from heading to the beach and also an avid boater on the lake almost every weekend, I have been concerned about the heat and sun with my e-cigs. What, if any, precautions do you take to ensure your batteries do not get too hot? Is just making sure they stay covered and-or in the shade enough or should other precautions be taken? I mean if they get too how, will they fail, explode, just stop working until they cool down?
  12. What is the advantage, if any, to a carto over a clearomizer or a tank?
  13. I mean to me traditional tobacco from my supplier is exactly like an analog or very close at least to me. On another forum there is a 6 page thread bashing it as nothing like tobacco. And I mean forum reviews not the reviews on the supplier sites as they are vetted before posting and can be manipulated.
  14. Plus I like the T2 better and after unit cost its about $2 every 2 weeks or so to keep em like new. I only buy from domestic sources. The stuff may be made overseas but what isn't?
  15. Every one I know that smokes analogs that I have let try my e-cig has coughed like it is the harshest thing they have ever tried. I never experienced this either, but maybe still smoking analogs makes it seem harsher? I have wondered the same thing though, because it never did that to me.
  16. I definitely have, and am done trying new flavors for a while. I am a creature of habit. I drink the same beer (Shiner Bock), the same whiskey (Makers Mark), the same tequila (Patron Resposado), the same soda (Diet Dr Pepper), and for the last 12 years of analogs smoked the same brand (Camel Lights). Having three different flavors I love is even a bit much, and now adding a fourth because my wifes Spearmint has grown on me tremendously lol. Until her 50ml bottle gets here I have been on lockdown from it haha.
  17. I get comments all the time about how I no longer smell like an ash tray, but other than that I have aged well either way lol. I always say I am not sure what is a bigger burden; being this smart or this good looking (jk lol)
  18. I did the opposite, at first I ordered 16-18mg in 50-50 (Now realizing 24mg 80-20 is where it is at for me)and realized it wasnt enough throat hit and nicotine to get rid of my cravings so I ordered some 36mg unflavored PG and mix to raise the nicotine and throat hit. It has worked like a charm and since I ordered extra flavor in my first couple orders before I knew what I liked it has worked like a charm.
  19. It is amazing to me how subjective taste is when it comes to liquids and makes me wonder if reviews are even something to pay attention to lol. Some of the flavors I like the most are those others detest, and flavors I detest are those some seem to like the most. Just a thought after stumbling across a thread on another forum about how disgusting a certain flavor is and that flavor is my all day vape and the best overall I have found after trying at least 50 flavors from 5 different suppliers. Some people love Dekang, I find it unvapable like many of the flavors I have purchased. I am giving away probably 300ml of assorted liquids to another forum member (if they ever send the flat rate box hmmhmm) and almost all of those got great reviews. So basically what I am saying is if I like a liquid there is no guarantee anyone else will like it and obviously vice versa. Its just funny how two people can taste exactly opposite things from the same product.
  20. I got a couple samples, reminded me a LOT of the same awful taste I get when I tried Dekang. Not vapable for me. I am done trying liquids for a while now that I know what I like. Just hope VapeDudes and Sweet-Vapes stay going strong. At this point they are my only two liquid suppliers I plan to use.
  21. I use Ego CC Longwick (T2) and have yet to crack a tank as well.
  22. I still like tobacco but it has to taste like tobacco, and the one from Sweet-Vapes is very close. Not a huge fan of VapeDudes tobaccos. They all seem to have something added, honey, maple, something. My only complaint about Sweet-Vapes vs VapeDudes is the biggest bottle they offer is 30ml so I order them 3 at a time while VapeDudes has 100ml options. I am steeping one to see if it gets even better!
  23. Brian told me he is working to get Spinners in his inventory but they have been on short supply for all but the bigger shops since Chinese New Year. Once he gets those, I will get everything from him except liquid. I am pretty loyal to my liquid vendors now that I have found what I like and am ordering 100ml bottles instead of smaller ones.
  24. I am all T2 lol, at least for now. 100x better than the V2-CE$-Stardust or whatever other names they have.
