Rattlehead got a reaction from Tam in HH.357...Who Here Has Used One?
Will do. Thanks for the advice.

My main use for this one will be for trying out new flavors. I figure dripping with an atty would be the way to go now that I'm tinkering with DIY juice. I've seen tons of good reviews for the HH.357 too, and I don't mind paying a little more for good hardware so I figured it was the way to go.

I've never really cared about it being cheaper... I find it fun and much better than somebody else's juice.

Less expensive is like an added bonus.

Make sure to follow the directions on how to break it in properly.

Rattlehead got a reaction from Rixter in Protank has flooding issues.. thinking of trying something else. Opinions?
I'm starting to think my original Protank was faulty. The threading on the base broke off in my Provari so maybe it was cracked all along and that was causing the flooding.. Anyway, rather than ordering a new base, I just ordered a KPT2 and have been using it for almost a week now with no flooding issues whatsoever.

Rattlehead got a reaction from tzymroz2013 in My first impressions after switching from an eGo C-Twist to a ProVari..
This isn't really a review of the ProVari (there's already tons of those online), but just my thoughts after upgrading from an eGo C-Twist. Figured it might be helpful for others who may be considering it.

I've only had it for a few days but so far I absolutely love it!

This thing is built like a tank and damn near as heavy as one. :p It feels like a very high quality unit.

I read a lot of reviews (mostly good) before buying it, but I noticed several people saying that they didn't care for the single button control for the settings/display. I'm guessing these complaints are coming from folks who have never tried one, as I find the operation to be very easy and I actually like the fact that it only has one button. Very simple to use.

With the eGo twist, I found it difficult to see the tiny markings for voltage settings. I was constantly straining my eyes to read it. No such problem with the ProVari's big display.

What I'm really liking is the consistency of the vape. With the eGo twist it seemed to be hit or miss, but with the ProVari its a good vape every single time. The kit I ordered came with a Kanger ProTank, which I also really like. Holds more liquid than the old CE4s I was using on the eGos, no flooding problems so far, and produces lots of vapor.

Overall I couldn't be happier. Well worth the money.

Rattlehead got a reaction from Uma in eGo twist vs Mods?
I've never used a Vamo but I went from a twist to the Provari and the difference is like night and day. With the big mod you get a good vape every time. With the ego it's hit or miss.

Thanks for all the help and comments in this thread.. After watching a ton of youtube vids and reading a bunch of reviews, I ended up ordering a Provari. I almost got the VAMO which a lot of people seem to like, but I really like the idea that the ProVari is made here in the USA and it seems to get a lot of great reviews too. Can't wait to get it!

Just an eGo c-twist for now, but soon to be replaced by a Provari or VAMO.

The pistola is a Gen 4 Glock 26. I also have several others including a G19, Colt 1911, S&W 500 Mag, NAA Black Widow, Ruger 22/45 LITE, Colt 6920, etc.... But that's another topic.

Rattlehead got a reaction from Boostedrex in Looking To Upgrade. Needs Some Suggestions Based On My Criteria..
Everything showed up yesterday and I've had a chance to try it all out. Its 10 times better than the little 510 that I was using. One charge and one fill up of juice lasts all day! Plus it gives me a consistant hit every time, which is something the 510 did not do. I love it!

As far as the Vision V2 vs Smoktech 510 vs ViVi Nova V2 goes, the Vision V2 is by far my favorite. It gives me the best hit and taste. Plus its the same size as the battery so it looks like it was made for the eGo. I'll be ordering more of those for sure.

Thanks again to everyone here for all the great advice! I haven't had an analog since last Thursday and I don't even want one. I'm officially DONE with cigarettes. I showed the new vaping setup to my Doctor today and she says its great. She actually recommends switching to ecigs to all of her smoking patients.

Next I'm going to start experimenting with different juices to see which ones I like best. Right now I'm vaping a 50/50 blend of 24mg USA mix and Glycerin USP, which I really like.. But I want to try all of the other flavors too.
