  1. I don't recommend bothering to write a statement. Causing a stir is only going to cause yet more problems for the vaping community as a whole. If you've been asked to not use the device, don't use it or only use it in designated areas. Writing a letter or causing some other kind of scene only reinforces the idea that vapers are just as bad as smokers or at the very least both are perceived as bad.

  2. The guys down at the shop said it might take a day or two for the flavor to "kick in" and I had jokingly said that the cinnamon burnt my tastebuds away. Is the flavor supposed to immediately work- or were they just improvising on a solution to the vaper's tongue? Lol.

You might try uncapping the bottle and leaving it in a cool dark place for a day or two. That's supposed to help, though I've never really noticed much of a difference. It could just be a bad batch that you got, too. There are a couple of different energy drink flavors out there, some better than others. I'd have jumped on a flavor called "Monster Energy" too, since I'm a Monster drinker...like a fiend! My record is 13 Monsters in under 8 hours at a computer gaming LAN. So yeah...I'd be all over it but disappointed if it didn't have a good strong flavor to it. Another thing you might try is to get it in a slightly lower nicotine strength. If you are getting it at high nicotine (24mg - 26mg) the flavor will be a bit less intense than at a medium strength (16mg - 18mg) and even stronger at lower strengths, assuming you find a lower strength enough to curb your appetite.

  3. Steeping sounds like it makes the assumption that each individual 10ml, 30ml, or 50ml bottle of juice you order is custom mixed and put specifically into that bottle just for you at the time of order. That's not happening. And if you think that's what's happening, I have a snow skiing resort in Florida I'd like to sell you. Instead, they're mixing large batches and then filling the individual orders from said batch. Unless they had just made the batch, it would be sitting around for a few days/weeks and already have gone through the steeping process before they even filled your order. So, steeping it more isn't going to really get you anywhere. If you get a bottle and the flavor is weak, you might try steeping it because maybe you got a bottle out of a freshly mixed batch. But otherwise, I think it's far more psychological than actually doing any real good for the juice.

  4. Soo I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good e liquid sites in which you can purchase a sampler of every flavor juice they carry? Like this

    http://www.aliceinvapeland.com

I would order from there but they take such a long time and I need liquid sooner, though I will be buying from them in the future when I'm not in need so quickly. Also good vendors in general with the best liquid would also be appreciated :o)

    Several places offer sample packs.

  5. Alright, so what's the difference between pg/vg liquid. I sorry for asking noob questions but I really want to try this. The blu didn't cut it for me, so i'm looking at the ego. Should I go with a tank system?

PG liquid is known to carry the flavor better while VG is thicker and produces more vapor. In my DSE901 cartridges and cartomizers, I find a 50/50 mix to work best. However, I have read that VG liquid, or liquids that are 100% VG, can gum up the atomizer in some tanks or cartomizers. Best to research the tank you plan to use before hand and this is a great place to ask.

If you're looking to go analog free, something that looks and feels like a cigarette may work best (and is what worked for me). However, be aware that you'll likely be wanting to upgrade in the very near future. I'm already to the point where I'm looking at an eGo with a CE4 Clearomizer tank on it.

As for whether I would consider myself a nonsmoker or not, I would say no. I don't consider myself a nonsmoker...mostly because this implies a level of douchbaggery towards smokers that I just don't feel. I do feel that I have quit smoking, though. :)

  6. I smoked 20 to 25 cigarettes per day and I now exclusively vape. I go through a single 10ml bottle of juice roughly about every 1.5 to 2 weeks and I likely vape more or at least equal to as much as I was smoking. Cost wise, a 100ml sample pack is definitely the way to go, though. If you figure that a 10ml bottle of liquid is between $4.99 and $7.99 per bottle depending on where you get it and a 100ml sample pack of ten 10ml bottles is only about $30, you just saved yourself a lot of money (not to mention shipping costs) and you don't have to worry about it for quite some time.

  7. Well, one thing to keep in mind is that a chest cold is caused by a virus. An eCig or eJuice is never going to be the cause of a cold. They don't cause pneumonia and should, generally, be free of germs that would cause a cold. If you're already a smoker, you're doing far more damage to your lungs by inhaling tar and what amounts to burning pollutants than you ever would do with an eCig. My recommendations for an eCig kit that would be similar to Blu but far less expensive would be the following, with the 510 kit having the most overal capabilities for future upgrades or additional options.

  8. Just got my order from VapeDudes yesterday and I'm trying the Irish Coffee right now. I ordered it in 24mg with" Extra Flavor" and 50/50 PG/VG standard. The flavor isn't bad, but it seems a little light. Vapor from the liquid is thick and strong, though. This would be a great liquid if the flavor came through a little better. I'm hoping the Banana Tobacco and Appletini I ordered (with the same options) will be a little better.

  9. Yes everyone, I have heard that skin changes can occur, I'm talking about the reversal of facial aging from smoking, even when you are a little older I think that it will improve to some point. I'm only 20 so I'm hoping my larger pores and the fine lines I have found by the sides of my nose down towards the mid of my checks will go away. I've been cleansing, toning, and maoisturizing since I was 18 every single night. So hopefully that will have kept them under control. They are actually called temporary creases I beleive, they are like a pre pre wrinkle. Untreated they will become a fine line, which can potentially turn into a full blow wrinkle. I think my skin is young enough to regenerate itself hopefully though.

At the young age of 20, I think you're likely causing more wrinkles from stressing out so much about wrinkles, temporary creases, and pre pre wrinkles than anything that smoking or vaping could do. ;)

  10. So I spent most of last night reading every post here looking for answers but I am still confused with what to do.

I am looking to get something that I wont regret buying in a few months wanting to upgrade. I would like something that is similiar to an analog. I was looking at smokesmooth but its too bulky for me. I would also like it to be automatic as opposed to pressing a button, but I dont really have my heart set on it.

I'd also like it to be something that I can maintain myself and not be locked into buying expensive refills replacement parts. Im pretty handy and not afraid of taking things apart or modding things.

I just dont want to invest money into something and have it be the wrong thing. I'm sure the answer is here in the forums but I read so many posts and havent found an answer I am looking for.

    Thanks in advance.

Fitting your criteria, this is what I went with.

However, you could get the same success with their 510 ONE model. Either of these have a bunch of options available to them, too. If you decide you later want to go with a tank system; that's available for either one. If you want to use cartomizers; no problem. If you want standard cartridges; not an issue. If you want to try a drip tip and drip shield; no sweat.

  11. I'm vaping constantly. It seems like much more so than I smoked. My fiancee and I got small cases for our eCigs to make it a little more like a regular smoking experience. That's helped me curb the urge to have it in my hand or mouth all the time, but I still find myself using it far more often than I would have ever reached for a cigarette. The flip side of it is that you aren't tied to the burn duration of a cigarette. So, you take two to five puffs, set it down and do something else before coming back to it for another two to five puffs. If you set an analog cigarette down for this length of time, it will smoke itself and you wasted a cigarette. Therefore, I'm estimating that overall, I'm likely vaping about the same amount that I actually smoked...it's just that it seems like more because my eCig doesn't waste itself or grow shorter over a period of time.
