  1. Probably what mse12 said. I've never heard of a Leo and I know 510 is popular if not the most popular and 808. Not enough people.
  2. Welcome to the Forum Steve! I agree with the above as well. This is a great community for questions
  3. Thanks Uma. That was a great answer and leaves me with no questions .
  4. Welcome Merlin! I wish you well with vaping in 2013!
  5. Welcome to VT my man! We've got a great community of vapers here .
  6. Congrats on the milestone Morandir!
  7. Thanks for the links! This is some great info.
  8. Matt, your question may be better suited for the DIY audience: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/131-diy-e-liquid/
  9. I agree with Sweet Lips. Try several tobacco flavor before you're set on one. I used to smoke Parliaments and after 8 years, they tasted like air, so when trying different e-liquids, I was immediately turned off by many flavors.
  10. I didn't know this was a thing!? It sounds like you may just need a mod with higher mAh. I have a "rule-of-thumb" for my use where 100mAh in a battery is about an hour worth of use time so my batteries are 900mAh or higher to get me through a workday. Good luck with your search!
  11. I've only been exposed to variable voltage devices. How would changing the power or the wattage affect a vape? Would it be similar to "higher volts, more vapor/th"? Or is there more to it? Thanks for the replies .
  12. I can't say either way without any facts but in my experience after vaping for almost two years, vaping is a TON better and analogs. I can breathe better, smell, taste, and I live a fuller more active life. I can tell you I would never go back to smoking and I'll find it hard to put vaping down.
  13. Welcome to VT man! You'll find some great feedback and advice from the group we have
  14. I've been to Cignot, they have a great friendly staff. My girlfriend goes to Elmhurst College so I'm on York a lot .
  15. Die-hard Cubs fans over here....and I can't say anything because we had ANOTHER 100-loss season.
  16. Welcome Mark and a Merry Christmas to you and yours !
  17. I've heard the same thing about the RYs. I've heard RY4 described as a medium tobacco with caramel undertones. If that helps.
  18. I love going to mall kiosks and asking as the "novice" vaper. It blows my mind how they try and push things on you and don't use it themselves. I asked on kiosk employee about their experience with ecigs and they replied "I don't use this stuff." I've learned more about ecigs from forums and usage than I would've ever imagined.
  19. I know that I take in more nicotine than when I smoked. Part of it was wanting the nic craving to be satisfied when I switched over. I started at 24mg and I am now at 18mg. I don't think I would have made a successful switch if I started out with the same level of nicotine intake I was getting with analogs. I'll admit, I am a nic fiend .
  20. I've used eGO carts. I know the burning taste you're talking about. It may be from the carto being so big and it holds so much that if part of the polyfill isn't saturated, if will burn and that taste is almost impossible to get out. I used to just pour tons of liquid in the carto and wait for the polyfill to soak it up. I'd then take really light puffs just to make sure and then add a few drops just to be safe. I will also go back and add drops every few hours from heavy vaping.
  21. I don't use 0mg, (18mg ) but I know some people want the 0mg because they want to kick the nicotine aspect of the habit. Even when I was nicotine free for awhile, I found myself chewing excess amounts of gum, pencils, pens, fingernails, chips...you get the idea, so many people want 0mg to still get the act of smoking but without the nic.
  22. I've used both Chinese and USA liquids. Both being on the bad and good side of my taste buds. I've been a vaper for 1.5+ years now and I haven't had any ill effects from either liquids. It comes down to preference in my opinion.
  23. I've always played around with different ohm levels with different flavors. I know some juices do not "like" lower ohms (chocolates and cinnamons in my experience) but it's always nice to play around with the different voltage and ohm ratings to see where your "sweet spot" is. I found my sweet spot is at 4.8V with 3.0ohm cartos. I like the soft throat hit with plumes of vapor and flavor .
  24. I read this in an article on the "E-cigarette News" section. I LOVE THESE TALKING POINTS! When I tell people that the chemicals in vapes are found in other consumable products, it usually raises their brows .
