I've recently got several of these cartomizers: http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-mega-dual-coil-cartomizer-emdcc-black/ and I've even made a topic about how it tasted kind of burnt and really harsh here. Well, because it tasted so harsh and burnt even after a long time of vaping after dripping several times, I figured it could be the flavor (since this was a high nicotine tobacco flavored juice I've never tried before) so I tried cleaning it by bathing it in hot water and letting it air dry for a few days to change the juice flavor. Then I put in some familiar juices I've tried before (cola) and tried vaping with that, but now, it tastes so stale and dry. In addition, the vapor is warm which just tastes disgusting. Also, I'm not getting a whole lot of vapor production. This has taught me that cleaning a carto is a bad idea and I should probably not do it like I do it with my atty. I should probably crack open another one just to give it another chance since so many people have said that cartomizers, specifically this one I've purchased are great, but I just find the taste so bad, bland, and unsatisfying compared to the regular atty and I feel like I'm wasting my juice just to experiment with it. My questions are, can you just drip a different type of juice if you want to switch up flavors (I have heard the mixed juice tastes pretty bad)? How do you know when it's time to drip more juice? Lastly, how can you tell when the carto is dead and needs to be switched? Sorry for the long text, but I would appreciate some help. I would love to get used to using a carto just because of the conveniency. Thank you and have a good day.

Yea, that's the feeling I'm getting. It feels really, really rough and harsh right now. I got 24 mg of nicotine because I enjoyed the throat hit from going 16mg to 24mg for before, but this is way too harsh. Hope it does get clear up and get better though after several drags.

Yeah... it doesn't look wet. And I've put in a fair amount of juice too.

I kinda filled it partially onto the filler material with a syringe, and partially with just drops onto the carto casing and let it drop down because I couldn't get the syringe into the juice bottle.

Hello. I've recently purchased this cartomizer: http://www.thevetera...er-emdcc-black/ and I got it today. Now I am not used to using a cartomizer and this is my first one, so I had a bit of difficulty filling up the carto with the juice. Couldn't use the condom method since this carto is huge. I don't exactly how much ml of juice I've dropped but it was about 1/4th of a 10ml bottle. When I filled it up, the wicks in the carto didn't look anything like a slurpie or slushie like I've seen in carto tutorial videos. The wicks in it looks pretty dry. When I tried vaping it, it was really, really harsh and it has a bit of a burnt taste. Now, it can be the juice since I bought a 24 mg nicotine tobacco flavor which I've never tried before, but I don't know if I filled it up right or not. Can anyone give me some tips with using a carto?

Hello. Just now, I took my Joye eGo atty and blew it from the battery thread side on to a tissue to blow out all the gunk. However, the gunk wouldn't come out from the big hole side of the atty but instead come out from the two small vent holes on the battery thread and because of this, I got gunk all over my lips and it's so disgusting and made my lip itch. So instead, I blew it from the big hole side of the atty and all the excess gunk came out from the battery thread hole. Because of this, I checked my battery and to my dismay, there are liquid that has flooded into my battery. What seems to be the problem with my atty? I do this all the time but today, I'm having problems and I can't figure out why. Friendly answers would be appreciated. Thank you and have a good day.

Hello. Recently, I got a new flavor of e-liquid (cola) so I blew out the excess liquid in my atty and dripped 3 drops of my new cola flavor. However, the flavor tastes mixed with cola and my previous flavor (machiatto). So my question is, how do you change flavor from one e-liquid to another without getting mixed taste? Hello. Recently, my 510 atty wasn't working so well so I tried this method I've seen online where you rinse out your atty with hot water and after blowing out all the excess water, you do dry cleaning by holding on to the the button until the atty glows orange, and you do this until you stop hearing sizzling. The result was pretty good, as I was able to get a very good taste and a good throat hit. However, I couldn't drag it more than 3 times because after 3 drags, it tasted burnt and I think I'm doing a dry drag. Can anyone help me out here? Friendly answers would be appreciated. Is there any way to tell that my mouth piece was burnt? It looks fine to me. Also, what's LR ATTY? I also cleaned it before use. Lastly, what is a wick?

Hello. Today, I blew out my atomizer to clean out the excessive fluid as usual and then I dripped 3 drops of e-liquid into it. After like 2 drags, it started tasting really, really bad! It tasted really burnt, kind of like burnt plastic or something (not that I know what burnt plastic taste like).
