Hello everybody. First post here. Just started vaping less than a month ago...quitting smoking. Started out with a few egos purchased in Greece and stopped smoking for about 10 days with 2 clearomizer but it stopped working and went back to analogs until I got home (Los Angeles) and went back to vaping. Taking it overseas (reason for a lot of stuff) to last a while. Where I live (Qatar) no vaping products available (except the odd posting in the local classifieds) Here is what I got. Vapor 4 Life 4 x 1300mah DAV batteries 6 x Chargers 2 x 3.5ml dct 2 x 6.5ml dct 2 x stealth vapor king (1 auto & 1 manual)(for discreet vaping) 6 x box of 5 cartos (blank) 95 x replacement cartos for tanks And about 500ml of various juices RAWR About 200ml of juices GotVapes About 200ml of juices Ucann juice dispenser Some adapters Vapor Spit (retail store in Los Angeles) 1 x itaste MVP 2 x vivi nova 20 x replacement atomizers for vivi Various drip tips and adapters About 400ml juices (various) Aroma eJuice 120ml of WTA juice (honey cured tobacco) So far I like mixing a tobacco flavor with menthol with some fruit. (60 tobacco/20 menthol/20 peach). Liked pure tobacco in the beginning but getting to like some other flavors. Had some advice from the nice people at the V4L forum that I might get sick to the tobacco flavor as well) Mount Olympus Ordered a few adapters from here but the package has not arrived. They don't reply to emails or telephone and their website is down. (Anyone know what's going on with them?). Leaving in a few days. Good thing I just ordered some adapters. Trying to have backups for backups. The DAV batteries last about 4 hours for me so need to carry 2 outside. Will use the itaste at home or office. Even bought a friend 3 ego batteries (1 ego-c and 2 ego-t)and 2 kanger mt3 with some juice to vape with while I am here and he could quit smoking as well. He seems ok with it for 3 days now. Will probably pick up a few more things before I leave at the local store in Los Angeles. Prices are high but they do have overhead and I don't have to worry about getting delivery before I leave. Don't have the luxury of getting new flavors for about a year (maybe 9 months) so will have to vape what I have. Would like to purchase a provari next time but we will see...

Show of hands... ...how many of you have been out somewhere just a'vapin' away without a care in the world , and all of a sudden, that ol' button goes to flashin', and guess what...you're good time just came to a screeching halt (without any warning whatsoever)? And it's really not your fault, either. Heck, you thought you had enough charge left...if only there was some way to know how much charge was left so you could plan accordingly.

That's what I love about these eGo VVs...they still feel & perform like an eGo, but they have better features (IMO), and it's a pass-through (those of you who know me know why that's a big deal for me ).

For custom blends like you're talking about, I'd say go to EC Blend and pick yourself out a traditional tobacco-flavored e juice that suits you, and then just add menthol (or cool shot) to taste. Or you might want a little more control over your mix than that, in which case you could "Create Your Own" menthol e-liquid. With discount code "10020", it's just two bucks for a 5 ml. sample bottle + shipping (cheap).

This past two months with as unpredictable as my days have been I've just taken to carrying six batteries with me at all times so I can switch them out when one dies. That's probably why my purse weighs so much!

Yeah, I can definitely see benefits to carrying only one or two batteries but knowing how much of a charge is left in the main.

Congrats! Here's to many more months and happy vaping!

I still have five packs of unopened Marlboro Lights in my fridge as a reminder of how much I love vaping instead. Lol.

This just comes with the territory. Sometimes you get awesome stuff, sometimes you get duds. Certain days will feel like you should give up. After some time you will learn that no matter how crappy some orders are this will remain cheaper and healthier than smoking analogs. I'm sorry you've gotten some crappy orders but just push on. Try boges. I love them and the quality is pretty high overall. I once purchased a bulk order of smok cartos and out of the 5 boxes probably 3 were trash. Just shows you win some and loose some.

Just got an extra charger and AC adapter from The Veteran Vaper.

Jeff? If you're reading this I just wanted you to know that Brian added a handwritten note on my invoice.

A red, purple, blue and grey eGo drip shields from Empire Mods. Keith added two LED light/key chains for free.

    From EC Blend:

    5 ml bottles, 50 PG/50 VG, 6 mg nicotine

    Caramel Apple
    Dragon's Brew
    Fluffy Spun Sugar
Roast Beef with a flavor shot of Worchestershire Sauce
    Vanilla Gorilla

    15 ml, 50/50, 6 mg nic - Vanilla Cupcake

    50 ml, 60 PG/40 VG, 6 mg nic - Strawberry Shortcake

I finally took the plunge and ordered the small sampler bottle of the roast beef with Worchestershire sauce but I'm still afraid to try it. LOL.

Have fun but stay safe, Mike!

You know, living here in Colorado you would think we'd get more snow than the teasers we've gotten so far this winter.

Welcome back, not only to VaporTalk, but especially to vaping!
I loved the eGo for several years, and now I'm enoying the eGo Twist and the Vision Spinner. (they're eGo's with Variable Volt so we can torque it up when needed). They're great for out and about, affordable, easy to replace if lost, and they deliver with nice power!

Looks like those of us in the northeast are going to get nailed tomorrow and Saturday by the biggest storm in many years. My location has the potential of getting the most out of this one and the snow will be measured in feet. A blizzard warning is in effect for all of eastern MA, RI, CT, coastal NH and ME.

Well, I guess we're due. There was no snow last year and this year only a few inches so far. I'm gonna have some fun with this one; my quad is gassed up and I just got a tube to pull. You people in a warm climate don't know what you're missing.

As the title says, it was one month ago today I received my eGo kit, and have never looked back. I still have the half pack of Camel Wides that I was smoking while waiting for the mailman to arrive. If I make it a year, I'll be framing them, LOL!!! In celebration, I got myself a little present....I took the next step, and bought an eGo Twist, which arrived today. Holy Crap, I think I need to reduce my nicotine content, as just a few puffs left me buzzing. As pbusardo says, "NOW I get it," LOL!! Here's to another month of no smoking!!

Been doing my research and stumbled across this forum about a week ago. I'm currently a Pall Mall pack a day smoker and am getting ready to order a kit this evening or tomorrow.

So after reading tons of posts here and YouTube vids, various websites and reviews, this is what I'm planning on purchasing.

    http://www.theveteranvaper.com/joye-ego-kit-matte-black/.
Ego twist (more than likely the 1100mah)
    Nova vivi 3.5
Couple packs of boge lr cartos
    Juice (few different bottles)
Cones to fit flush with tank

Ok...I've seen nothing but good reviews on the ego, especially for starters. I drive during the day for work so I believe the nova 3.5 would be more suitable throughout the day. Ego twist for ample batt life throughout the day as well.

Any opinions or thoughts or 2¢ worth are welcomed. I'm sure I might be forgetting something and won't realize it till after I place my order so I thought I'd throw my game plan out here for discussion. I do plan on ordering my kit from theveteranvapor.com and might check out some other sites for juices.

One last note: I've been a member of various other forums in the past and had abandoned due to the drama like arguing amongst the members. After reading threads and post that go back two plus years here, I've seen n

Just got ten Boge 2.0 ohm atomizers from VapeLite and 16 purple Vision Nanos from AltSmoke. Unfortunately the first Nano I tried from this batch was a dud. Still, at $2.00 a pop, it's not a big loss.

My hubby quit smoking in the 70's, but he couldn't quit the hand-to-mouth addiction. He began popping food into his mouth,.. grapes, cheerio's, nuts, gummybears, .... and became a food popper addict lol. Then he decided to vape some Zero nic fruit and desert juices, to help satisfy not only his new love of food, but to satisfy his hand-to-mouth addiction. In less than 3 months, he happily retired his little Old Goat pv and has his addictions back under control. Well, had them back under control, until these last few months when the Doc had him go back to popping nuts ... and with boredom driving him nuts too, from being off work for 3 months, ... he became a food popper again. He doesn't want his Old Goat pv back... now he's eyeballing the new Marble Camo BAMs coming up. Which means, that if I can just talk him into the purple one, I'll have ME a new mod after 3 months. (he hates addictions and is a strong fighter, bless his heart).

@Mega Poster: I'm not only hooked- I have become addicted.. in a good way, I think!! I have always suffered from obsessive compulsive disorder, (vacuum, dust and clean glass 2ce a day, count my steps that sort of thing,) But now some of the cleaning waits, cause now... I must shop for new juices!! If I find something I like, I get two! Thank goodness I can afford this new habit, and as a single mom, I dont have to answer to anyone but my widdle self!!
