Thanks for passing that along. I'll give it a try next charge.

What is Jessie's method? I went back a page or two in this thread but I must've missed it.

I believe your mod should be at around 3.7v. What resistance is in your coil? That will make a difference in the amount of vapor you produce. A 2.0 - 2.5 ohm coil will not produce a whole lot of vapor with 3.7v. Also, what's the PG/VG ratio in your juice? A higher VG ratio will produce more vapor.

The Aerotank base has an airflow controller that allows you to control how much air is getting through to better customize your vaping experience. Some people prefer a tighter draw so you can close the air holes a bit to what you like. Others prefer an airy draw so you can open it wide to let the maximum amount of air in. Much better than the original that is set with no way to change the air flow going to the coil.

I'm with Bebop. The iClear 30S that came with my iTaste VTR was nothing short of dismal and...icky. It never worked well and when it did, it leaked all over the place. The KPT 2 with an Aerotank base is miles better imo.

My great idea: Working Brain Boost Juice or Smart Juice :)

I see Jeff's ban hammer arm is in great shape today. -
Scroll down and watch the video. http://www.avidvaper.com/products/HH.357-Cisco-Spec-Hybrid-510-Atomizer.html

I hope it can rival my HH.357 for performance and flavor.

This is also one of those times when it's good to have a variable voltage device. If you have a 1.5 ohm coil, you could just turn down your voltage and that would also help to off set the harshness. For fruit flavors, on a 1.8 ohm coil, 50/50 blend, 12 mg nic, I go down to 3.3v. For a bakery flavored juice like apple pie (same set up), I turn it up to around 4.0v. The Vision Spinner and Vision Spinner 2 are great work horses and my go-to battery. My Magneto, iTaste VTR, Provari mini, etc. are all great devices but I prefer my Spinners.

Just cleaned out the Vapor Talk store's supply of 1.8 ohm KPT short stemmed coils (14 boxes of the 5-packs). Also got a white Vision Spinner 2 and a Nautilus mini with one 5-pack of 1.8 ohm coils. Chris said that he's ordering more of the short stemmed KPT coils and Nautilus mini coils, though. I forgot how much short stemmed KPT coils work so much better than the longer stemmed coils do. Very little to no leaking and excellent flavor production. Can't wait to try the vertical coils on the Nautilus mini.

Higher nic level produces harsher throat hit. Also, more PG in a liquid can do the same. The 1.5 ohm coil could also affect throat hit. I prefer a 50/50 blend with a 1.8 ohm coil just for that reason. Your mileage may vary and it could be a combination of factors.

If I were you I wouldn't go above 70 VG. Any more than that and you run the risk of gumming up your coils faster.

As much as I've changed juices (with the exception of two flavors), I'd hate to think I bought several hundred mls of something I can't stand anymore.
-
For me, I'm not going to stock up on juice anymore than I already do just trying new flavors. For a new vaper I wouldn't recommend it, either. Your taste buds are changing and will continue to change. What tastes great to you today may be awful tomorrow so, if you stock up on a particular flavor now.... I think you see where this is going? Until we see what kind of legislation goes through I think I'll take the wait and see approach. Regardless of new regulations, they won't be set into place immediately so there will be a window of time to stock up if need be. Just my two cents anyway.

The new NEW version of the Anyvape Davides can take both the Aspire coils or, if you take off the top part where the coil connects, it can also take the Kanger coils as well. At least that's what I read. I have yet to buy one of these to give it a test, though. Bcarter and I both use the old Davide and Davide mini from back when they just took the Kanger coils. Sorry for the confusion.

Suggestions for MOD & Anyone order from Alibaba.com?
Tam replied to christov11's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I have a gold Magneto and love it! It's an amazing mech mod that works very well with a KPT2, KPT3, Aerotank and Anyvape Davide. The amount of vapor and flavor I get with a 1.8 ohm coil is...wow. I also have an Evic. It's a very expensive but pretty paper weight for me. Just my opinion but I wouldn't rec it to anyone. There are several members who love it but it's not a favorite among many. The iTaste VTR is a much better choice if you're wanting a VV/VW APV. By far I prefer the Magneto for all around performance and ease of use. The 18650 Panasonic battery at 3400 mAh makes a great companion to it as long as I use tanks. -
Just ordered six more HH.357s in 2.0 ohm.

There's a clone for an HH357? I'm curious. Where did you get it? -
Yes. Yes, you did! Lol.

The first thing on your shopping list should be a dedicated ohm meter if you don't already have one.
-
The T3S takes a different coil than the Evods, Kanger Pro Tanks, etc. Like Bebop said, they are not interchangeable.
-
The Kayfun is an RBA (rebuildable tank), which means you will have to rebuild the coils yourself. Not exactly what I would recommend for a beginner. The Kanger Pro Tank 2 is a great tank. I love mine with an Aerotank airflow base. The Kanger Pro Tank 3 is a dual coil unit that can also take the same single coil as a Pro Tank 2. The single coils are cheaper than a dual coil. My personal preference is an Anyvape Davide with an Aerotank base and the Anyvape Davide mini (old 2.5 ml style). The full sized Davide is basically the same as a KPT (Kanger Pro Tank) 2 and 3 version but I think it performs better. It does for me anyway. So far I've not gotten an Aspire Nautilus -- I'm waiting for the Nautilus mini with the vertical coil to come out.

For the most part the prices you saw at the B&M are pretty average. They're also somewhat "average" for several online stores as well. You'll find that, at the Vapor Talk store (the store that founded this forum), the prices will be lower than most anywhere else online. If it's not, let Christopher know. Chances are pretty good that he'll either meet or beat the price you found if it's possible. Customer service is also excellent. If you have any problems, Chris will see about making it right. Sorry to sound like an advertisement, but I really do believe in the Vapor Talk store and I am a customer first, a VT admin coming in...somewhere further down the line. There was a time that I didn't buy much from the VT store because it didn't carry what I wanted to buy or, if it did, the prices were too high. I regularly rec'd other stores and prices to people who asked. That's all changed recently because they started stocking what I want to buy with more stock coming in every day. The prices are the lowest I've seen in most cases and the quality is first rate. You won't ever find knock offs here. Just my two cents. In a few days I plan to wipe out the VT store's current stock of a certain type of coil. ETA: Just scroll to the top of this page and you'll see products and prices. Spinner v2 for $27, Aspire Nautilus for $26, the Nautilus mini (pre-order) for $25.99, Aerotank Mega for $29.99...
