As long as you can pull the wick out without a struggle it should be just fine. Is the wick solid or hollow? Some people love both. I tend to build hollow wicks. Just trial and error really.

I picked up the washers at Lowes. It was a 5 pack and cost $1.08. Can't go wrong, they are SS as well.

The vamo is a cheap device which works decently well. I would definitely get the SS version. I have the black chrome version and the finish sucks. I just picked up a skin for mine so we'll see how it looks in a few days! Happy vaping!

Thank you! That's 30 gauge kanthal. I think it meters around 1.4-1.5 ohm. Running great with the additions of the washers. I've run about 5-6 tanks on it.

Juice abuse goes substantially down after you go through the juice trial and error stage. Until you have known good flavors I would steer away from cartos. I know that sucks but it's the reality of it. I would stick to clearos which can be easily washed and reused. Or dripping even. There are better ways to try out flavors compared to cartos when you end up not liking it. Sorry you don't like the flavor.

Rixter nailed it. I just stick the positive probe in the center hole and hold the negative on the threads. This is sometimes easier said than done though, good luck! I would lay them down and maybe find something to keep them from rolling around on you. Makes you wanna bash your face in if they won't stay still. lol

That is funny. The only time I ever have any type of juice splash back is when I drip and with this you couldn't drip. Great idea though.

I would recommend a boge LR (2.0ohm) carto for that. They work great. With the low resistance coil in it the lower power pushed by that ego battery is plenty. I'm glad you are enjoying it. Is it working as well as your starter kit I hope?

Have you tried running small washers on this center post to prevent the top coil hot spots? Uma gave me this idea and it is a wonderful fix for any top coil hot spots. My wick used to lean similar to what yours is doing but not now. Uma recommends M2.5 which I could not find right away but I did find M3. They work just as well I believe. Here are the pics to get an idea of how I've got my AGA-T+ setup.

I would stay away from polycarbonate tanks using those juices. Pyrex, SS, and polypropelene(sp?) should all be safe and maybe pmma (?) I don't know for sure about that one. Heard good things about it.

The flanges aren't really important. I've never had a tank come off. You can get boges at many vendors. theveteranvapor (sp?) carries them. You will have a punch them I'm sure. That is easy though.

I would definitely drink a lot more water. It will dehydrate you and I'd imagine if you weren't a previous smoker it would have some type of effect that would be strange. I wouldn't advise becoming addicted to nic if you aren't currently, that would seem counter productive.

I doubt you would be happy going to an atty tank from cartomizers. You may be, I know that I wouldn't. I would look into a Vivi Nova just like McQuinn suggests. I actually just picked up the newer Vivi Nova SVT and really am pleased with it so far. I had a couple nova's from back early last summer and I loved them. I managed to drop them over the course of several months and bent the connections so in Dec I picked up another one, it sucked. Something about it was different and none of my juice would wick at all. I put it away after a couple days of fighting with it. I just picked up the black svt and I love it. It is working as well as the ones I had last year that I loved! I think that would be a much better option than an ego-t or c.

I'm a fan of pink spot, the vapor room, avejuice, and I'm sure there are others that I can't think of at the moment. Just have to try what's out there! Too many options really!
