ok, well on my 3.7v (pretty standard voltage) devices i use lr stuff (1.5ohm-2.0ohm) on like my 800mah LEO's. on my 3.7v 808's however, because they are only about 320mah i use 2.5ohm (pretty standard resistance) because lr stuff should not be used on any device lower than about 400mah or so. on a higher voltage device 5+v i would use at least a 3.0ohm atty/carto general rule of thumb is as follows low voltage device-low resistance delivery system higher voltage device-higher resistance delivery system as you saw though, there are exceptions to that rule. one being if your battery is under 400mah you should NOT use low resistance stuff on it, regardless of the voltage. you can use 2.5-3.0ohm stuff on pretty much any device you want. that's the pretty standard resistance.

neither is best. It depends entirely at what voltage your battery will be operating. Which is?
-
oh yeah yeah yeah, i forgot about that. i though it was red, blue and purple but either way i remember that now.
-
yup, we're finally starting to see companies looking to create a battery and a delivery system that will please everyone.

discountvapers.com has them for a few bucks cheaper a piece. i finally put in an order for a few. i hope these live up to all the hype....

lol, i don't dig for answers, i let jeffb do it.

no, and i hate to admit it but i like the look. the price is pretty damn good. does it just charge on a standard eGo charger?

New And Need A Little Avice On My Next Purchase
blucavvy replied to Dottymay's topic in New Vapers Forum
you may want to look in to a simple eGo or kGo kit, both can be had in 1000mah and up batteries. your current volt batteries are 220mah if they're the shorties or 320mah if they're the bit longer ones. so you can see how much more battery life you'd get out of one. about 3 or 4x as much depending on what battery your'e using now. either that or you could look at any number of other "fat batts". smokelessimage sells a nice one called the x2 or v2 or something. they can be either manual or automatic. and since they're 808 threaded you could continue to use your current carto's. they're a bit pricey but you can find some promo codes around. twelveday beat me to it lol. he brings up a lot of good points, like the vg for more vapor. as far as the "sucking air" type hit, how are you hitting your ecig? it's different than you would on a ciggy. on a pv, you want a slow, soft drag, don't suck on it like a vacuum. lol -
Smoktech, Smoktek, And Dc Cartos

dual coils are kind of a grey area in my opinion. technically your'e running two fairly standard resistance coils, but at the same time together they're drawing way more power than what a standard coil does. i run dc 1.5ohm carto's every once in awhile, i would just personally be wary of running anything lower than a 1.5ohm carto/atty. it just seems excessive to me. like i said, 1.5ohm is plenty warm enough to create good vapor production with plenty of warmth. -

low resistance should be matched with low voltage. higher resistance gets matched with higher voltage. a 1.5-2.0ohm carto/atty will give you plenty warm (sometimes even hot depending on what resistance/voltage) vapor. i run 1.5ohm atty's and 1.7ohm carto's on my 3.7v LEO and the vapor is super warm. run that same atty/carto on a 5v mod and the vapor would be hot. in my opinion, uncomfortable. and you would be at risk of burning juice, blowing the coil, etc... your eGo (depending on mah) is fine to run 1.5ohm stuff. i wouldn't go lower personally, i just wouldn't feel safe doing it, even 1.5ohm is pretty damn low. if it's a 600mah eGo you really shouldn't even be running anything lower than like 1.8 or 2.0ohm stuff. same reason you can't run super lr stuff on a stick battery, there's just not enough mah in the battery. if you've got over 600mah your'e fine to run real lr stuff on it. i just personally would not go lower than a 1.5ohm atty/carto. 1.25ohm resistance dual coil carto just doesn't sound safe. but that's just me, could be paranoia. i just know that there are certain parameters your'e ok to run and with mods exploding in people's faces i'd want to stick in a semi safe zone. 1.5ohm on a 600+mah battery at 3.7v is generally recognized as safe. anything lower, and well, proceed with caution imho. -
could be, some people have "allergic" type reactions to 100%pg, so i don't see why someone couldn't have semi negative effects from 100%vg. i've vaped 100% both for quite some time, and i do alot of mixes as well, neither way has seemed to bother me. but like i said, that doesn't mean it couldn't be doing it to you. everybodys different.

What Type Of Ecig Battery Do You Use?
blucavvy replied to Christopher's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
there are discount codes available. i was mainly just trying to show you that the echo is not the only 808 threaded fat batt. the echo, 808 threaded eGo, (whatever it is that si sells), and i believe the vGo is 808 threaded as well, or maybe it was the gogo. it's not that hard to find a manual 808 threaded fat batt is what i was trying to say. -
yeah, alot of people have. that forum sucks.
-
lol, i'm sorry bro. i don't mean genuine offense to your homeland, but your country is just kind of the butt of a joke. there's no taking it back at this point.

What Type Of Ecig Battery Do You Use?

http://smokelessimage.com/accessories/x2-volt-battery.html there ya go, manual and automatic yes the g6 is an 808. same thing as your volt. -
yes the g6 is an 808 gen2. same thing as the volt, bloog, smoov, elitevaporworks, etc... all of those vendors sell the EXACT same battery, pcc, charger, carto's etc. just go with whoever has the best pricing. elitevaporworks just has the cheapest prices of any of them. plus free shipping. i've personally never tried their juice but i've heard 1 good review and no bad so lol. i just buy the blank carto's and fill with boba's or stuff from thevaporroom.net
-
get the clone, especially if you've heard nothing but good things. there was a bunch of talk about how the clone's weren't as good as the original lt's but they're all manf.'d at the same place. it's the same unit. i've heard just as many negative things about the original lt's as the clones. for $55 on an entire kit you can't beat it. i think there's a vendor on here, can't remember the name, nevada vapers or something? look them up in the supplier forum on here and they have the bolt at like $30 a piece if you wanna go that route you could easily piece together an entire kit for right around $50. otherwise get the lt kit wherever you can find it at it's cheapest.

Uma's a zenesis fan if i remember correctly.

http://elitevaporworks.com/ss/starter-kits-1/signature-series-mini-pcc-starter-kit.html awesome starter kit for the money. good battery life from such a small battery, sleek and stylish looking pcc (love mine), awesome vapor production from a "mini" ecig. free shipping. endthread/

no, i don't think so? i don't even know of a place named canada. just Canadia, the silly country that thinks it's useful. think my sarcasm was mistaken for a spelling error
-
ya know, that country that never does anything at all that's right above us?

between the two I'd say the lt. Or save for a bit longer and get something else.
