how are things going with the throat hit??
some flavors have better throat hit than others.  I always have a supply of either menthol flavoring or menthol liquid and add a few drops to all of my liquids.  really helps with the throat hit (and flavor)-without tasting like menthol.  the menthol flavoring is much more concentrated so usually about 2-3 drops/5ml.  with the menthol liquid 5-6 drops/5ml.

The Dulcis is giving me a great throat hit, I really like it a lot, I am definitely going to have to order more.  I have some Midnight and Exotic Tobacco on the way also. I also ordered the blank cartomizers (for when I am out and about and don't feel like DDing) and some drip tips from here.

How long will my atty's last?  I have seen everything from a few days to a few months. I am wondering if I should order some more to have on hand.  Is there anything I can do to make the ones I have last longer?

I am surprised that adding menthol doesn't make it taste like a menthol (I really don't like menthol). I will have to try that - you just add a couple drops to your 10 ml bottle then?  Oh, and what do you do with your empty bottles?  Does VT recycle them or anything?

Welcome to the wonderful world of the eGo. I have found that VT juices are very smooth, Dulcis seems to have the biggest TH for me but it isn't a bit harsh. Wordup also has same smooth hit, as does Hot Vapes. I really am getting to like the cartos and after trying a few out I'm the most pleased with Joye 510 cartos. Silver threads and holds a lot of juice. You can get them at wordup I know they are in stock. I have several fresh cartos sitting here waiting for my order of VT Sweet Dawn and Butterscotch the only problem I have found with the eGo and good juices is that I would rather stay home and vape then to go anywhere. Have fun and think of all the chemicals your little one is not being exposed to now.

Well. its been a couple days and still really pleased with the eGo. Have had two analogs, both in the morning with coffee - I think that's more habit than anything else and I am confident I will be able to phase those out.  I am really impressed with both the battery life, and how quickly the batteries charge.  I have been direct dripping and using cartridges.

Today I got my first shipment of empty cartomizers. So far I really like them.  The only previous experience I had with cartos was the GreenSmoke. These are much better, lots of vape and lots of flavor. I overfilled it the first time, but I am ok now, its just a learning curve and I am sure I will get the hang of it. I like that I don't have to constantly drip; I just add about 6 more drops to the carto when it needs it (about every hour).  I got some Midnight this time - when I first tried it, I wasn't sure I liked it. I think it tastes like cognac.  However, I have been using it while drinking red wine and they go really good together.  I still think Dulcis is probably going to be my go-to juice.  I did order some mentha to try adding a couple drops to my other bottles for better throat hit; I will try it with one to make sure I don't get any menthol taste (but who knows, maybe I will like the menthol).

Is the VT Tobacco the same as Exotic Tobacco flavor?  I ordered VT Tobacco with my starter kit and then ordered Exotic Tobacco with my second order - they both say VT Tobacco so I guess they are the same?

Also, I ordered some 510 drip tips - are these the wrong thing for my eGo? I can't figure out how they would possibly go on my eGo, they don't seem to fit anything so I think I must have ordered the wrong thing. I can't for the life of me figure out how the end with the white o-ring would attach to anything.

Having a few analogs here and there is normal. I had a few on Friday and I've been vaping for three months.

The battery life is amazing, isn't it? So glad you like it!

As I understand it, VT Tobacco and Exotic Tobacco are the same thing.

The drip tips go on top of the atomizer instead of the cartridge. It may be a snug fit at first, but the o-ring will give a little after some use.

I must have ordered the wrong drip tips then...the outer circumference of these is exactl the same as my atomizer...there is no way one is going to fit inside the other

The 510 atomizers are the right ones, but sounds like you got sent the wrong size.  I just recently had that happen to me.  contact the supplier and they should be able to get you the right ones--Did you get them from VT??

When you get your menthol only add 2-3 drops at first and then add a couple more if you need it.  It really doesn't taste like menthol if you just add a few drops to 5 or 10 ml bottles.

Glad you are liking you Ego--it really is a great unit.  
vaping will take over those last couple smokes when you are ready--just relax and vape.  smoke if you need to-- The less pressure you put on yourself the easier it is.

re: point number 2.  If you want to buy prefilled cartomizers, you only need an adapter if you purchase cartos that do not fit to the eGo/510.  In my case, when I use SS cartos, I use a 510-4081 adapter. You DON'T need an adapter for 510/eGo cartos.  Check out the videos here regarding refilling.  It's easy and if you don't overfill, there's no leakage.  Even if there is, it's only when you overfill and you can clean it right up.

re: point number 3.  I get 20 - 30 drips in a SS carto.  So if you are getting 10 draws per 3 drips... that could equal almost 100 draws.  Seems high but I've never counted.

Still going at it, still really enjoying it. It is a learning curve, I am trying to get the hang of filling and using cartomizers - mostly I direct drip.

has anyone tried using one of these juice feeders? I was wondering if that might be an easy way to go, but I didn;t know if they were worthless or hard to use/finicky etc. Does anyone have experience with them?
