Hmmm, looks like that Pearl "demands" those 3.7V batts (or one 14500). My guess is that the Protected batts you have are faulty, I've seen my share of faulty 3.0V Protected batts. (Still 15270's). I suggest trying another set of batts or go with the 14500 flames or IMR's. I suppose you could try 2 CR2 3.0V batts, and can't imagine why it would not work ok.

Yes, normal operation. When the juice is low, the wicks are unable to carry it to the ceramic cup efficiently. When you turned it over you "manually" brought juice to the cup, or heating element.

The "oily" taste will go away after a while, but it sounds like your atty is not getting wet with e juice. I haven't heard many raves about the tank systems. Hi Andy, Yes, go with the eGo. It's a great e-cig. You may also want to consider cartomizers. You still need e-juice, but you can fill up the "carto", then put the juice out of reach. After the eGo consider a mod.

I found the biggest hurdle is to get people to even try an ecig. Once they do they are hooked. This one fellow I know, wouldn't try it at all (new cart and all) . He said he'd rather stick with analogs. The other day he decided to take a "puff"....BAM! He's freaking hooked, he says he's done with analogs! Love to see that!

Personally I switched to a merchant account myself, just in case PP decided to "do me too". I have a contact for a fellow that sets it up, using Auth.net. I actually end up saving money by not using PP. I still have it as a checkout option but 90% uses the CC option. I'd put the info here, but I'd prefer people PM me if they want my contact info. Easy to deal with, not expensive, and easy to setup.
