More Crap From Jerry Brown

I've noticed that the 'bozos' never seem to go away - they just find new ways to make trouble.

I'm getting tired of them saying these are targeted at kids. I've never seen one that targeted kids. And I'm tired of them wanting proof that they are safe. Analogs are not safe and are proven not safe and yet they are still on the market. A lot of stuff on the market is proven not safe, but is still there. And I'm tired of idiots. Okay, I'm pretty much tired of a lot of stuff anymore.

The comment I left.....

"No to Minors Agreed"

"I am a user of eCigs and I do agree that minors should not be allowed to use/purchase these products. To see a ban on eCigs entirely I feel will be unfair as tobacco cigarettes are legal to purchase and use. We know that eCigs are not as harmful to your health as eCigs and should be an acceptable alternative to smoking tobacco cigarettes."

Isn't this Brown guy going to run for Governor in California?

What is their problem? I can't believe these elected officials are chasing after this issue. There is much more important issues at hand for California and the Nation as a whole. What a way to waste dollars that CA does not have on something that is so small. Idiots!

One problem is there are already reports of kids getting them in the malls, sting operations that show them selling stuff to minors. We know the malls suck, but nothing stops a teen with a CC from getting them online as well. So how is that going to be prevented? In reality, teens get cigarettes pretty easily as well, but it is illegal and supposedly controls are in place. I'm just afraid this is all going to get squashed and it will not be because of the upstanding folks we deal with, but the mall rats and less reputable rip-off artists. They are giving the tobacco companies and pharma companies via the legislators enough rope to hang everyone.

Interesting Ecigs against ecigs... Oopsie TheGreen.

But I do truly agree with what you really meant.

This country is getting ridiculous. All the Bogus rules & Regulations that is harming us. Yes we find something else we enjoy instead.. They just take everything away from us.

This whole mediocre lawsuits is making me crazy

To me the goof is to be implicitly saying cigarettes are safe, you don't see them taking those away. What a bunch of crud, talk about hypocrites. I see kids smoking cigarettes, most people get addicted as kids, who are the powers that be trying to fool?

If someone really wants to make things better do the darn studies on e-cigs, ban cigarettes now that you have a real alternative and make it available. Oh wait, then all that lobby money will disappear, it's almost like they really don't care about us!!! ;-) I'm still hoping a journal or the cancer society, lung association, someone will step up and maybe get a school to do the studt.

I also feel there only after the money & nothing else

Amazing. e-cigarettes need to be tested, I can go with that. They shouldn't be sold to minors... I can agree with that too.

If they quit spending money on stupid lawsuits they could tax the cartridges and ejuice if it thrilled em. But of course, the ecig companies aren't giving huge donations to the PTB (Powers that be) so far.

Our ridiculous so called leaders are only trying to look out for our well being. RIGHT!!!! No they are trying to keep in good standing with the big cigarette companies that add money to their pockets every time its time for reelection. It's ok to smoke tobacco products even though it has been proven to cause cancer and many other problems. And what about alcohol? I don't see them trying to ban that again..remember what happened the last time they tried that? So why can't they just leave us the hell alone and let us make some of our own choices? We all know that it's money or the lack of it that's driving this legislation. These are the same kind of people that will tell you that e-cigs are bad for you and should be banned and then go out for a three drink lunch and hop in their cars to drive under the influence. What a bunch of a=holes

I just wrote a response to the article. Not sure if they will publish it & it's only a few lines, but here it is:

California is broke, 20% of our citizens don't have jobs, but both Brown and Ellen Corbett have time, money & energy to spend on this crusade against e-cigarettes which haven't produced a single known case of harm to anyone -- and may well be saving lives?

These two loser politicians have got to go -- along with any other politicians who waste time and money on such stupidity. They have no sense of priorities or decent judgment to qualify them to run a Burger King, let alone the State of California!

I suggest that we keep writing responses when we find articles like this. Meanwhile I am going to hit the Twitter trail again -- apparently the Govenator (much to my surprise) decided to "follow me" on Twitter.

It's called Progressive Government...

Yes, they "progressively" steal from your wallet until you have nothing; they "progressively" force you to pay for their salaries and pensions so that you have nothing left over for your own life and retirement; and they "progressively" take over your life until everywhere you turn they are there telling you what you can't do as they have criminalized everything that is fun, productive or even interesting.

Personally, I've had enough "Progressivism" to last a lifetime. Let them go find someone else to be their beast of burden, because this filly intends to buck them off! :banned:

I agree with everything say about those jerks, but this line reminded me of the Rum running movies.

I could be a Juice Bootlegger with a trunk full of RY4 cruising the back roads of America. :2guns:

Wonder how much they are being paid by Big Tobacco to keep up the fight?

Maybe not just Big Tobacco. Also Big Pharma.

On a related note, California Democrats are simultaneously trying to accomplish here what they haven't been able to do in DC -- Universal Single-Payer HealthCare.

Last month, Senator Mark Leno introduced a bill into the California State Senate, SB810, calling for the same type of single-payer Universal Health Care Program for all California residents -- and on January 28th, SB 810 passed in the California Senate.

Here is the text of the bill.

If this passes the Assembly and the Govenator signs it, Big Pharma's lock on the State will be direct and complete. Big Pharma along with the Health Insurance Companies and a California "State Health Commissioner" will decide what's "good for us" and what we can put in our bodies. E-cigs probably won't be the only new "taboo".

As each day passes we creep closer and closer to the New World Order, a unified world government from all the major world powers.

Our voice as American Citizens has been fading the past few years... Most things going on in politics right now is all part of a bigger picture, money and control.

There are bigger pictures behind everything but the government is blowing smoke up our *** and will be for the next few years.

It's been said before, they work for themselves and the elite, not for the people that create the revenue to make this county run.
