Help with charging seglie 50w

I have a Segeli 50 W and I've been charging it through the USB port thinking I could charge it is that not okay to charge it should I just get a battery charger

I don't have a Segeli but I do have a couple of evics I always use the usb port I don't think I ever had the batteries out of them I haven't had a problem yet.

 

They both have Panasonic 18650 3400mah batteries

You can charge battery separately or use the USB cable.

What exact battery are you using?

Sorry don't recognize that battery.

I think the only advantage to getting a separate charger is that you could charge the battery faster with a quality charger.

Personally I would get a charger but you don't have to. I would also get about three more of those batterys and rotate them. I've heard those are pretty damn good.
