  1. I put out a message on FB and Twitter. I also called NVC and left a message. I hope someone will respond. Hang in there.
  2. Spray the WD-40 on a paper towel, not on the carto. Afterwards, wipe the carto with alcohol on a paper towel.
  3. Sorry I can't help Cheryl! This is just one prime example of how I know very little about a lot! LOL
  4. For us Google challenged users, please explain? And if you can do it using small, non-technical words, I for one would greatly appreciate appreciate the help!
  5. Jay, thanks for reminding me about the dental bridge floss! I have gotten back into using cartomizers since discovering the Mega Dual Coil's cartos. I was down to one a few weeks back and waiting for an order to come in. The coils were gunked up to the point that I couldn't see light through the center and for the life of me I couldn't remember the floss trick. @Jen, there are so many different ways to clean cartomizers. Do a google search and you will be amazed by all the videos. I have tried the boiling in water and I even purchased a Ultrasonic Cleaner. IMO the way that has worked best for me is to flush them out with hot water from the faucet, blow out as much of the water that I can. Then submerge them in Everclear over night. The next morning I blow out the everclear and give them a couple of good wrist flicks. Then I set them in front of my laptop exhaust fan for the day. Since my laptop is in use for the majority of the day, by the end of the day the carto is completely dry. Now for the easiest thing to do. Keep your cartomizer wet with juice by topping up when needed. If you use thin, light colored eliquids that are not super sweet, a cartomizer will be good for 5 days or more. If you use thick, dark colored, and/or super sweet juices, your cartomizer coils are going to get gunked up and their life span will decrease. When your cartomizer has reached its maximum life expectancy, just throw it away.
  6. Really, the only way you are going to know which one you like the best is to get one of each.
  7. Hi Hurrycaine, How are you? Here is Hanna's "How to" video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SW--6MzQoRI&feature=feedlik I have been using them for the last seven weeks and I love them. I make sure to keep it wet and use short quick draws. The way the .357 is designed it creates a vacuum each time you draw and it pulls the juice from the medal wicking into the ceramic cup. I was fortune enough to follow Hanna from his first interview (post production) until today. I had been pretty much coached on how to properly use it before it arrived on my door step. Knock on wood, I have yet to kill one. Sean, Hanna's friend and now his QC man, has used one .357 for 10 months and the only reason it was 10 months is because he gave it to someone else. The flavor, TH, and vapor is absolutely amazing. The first day I received my initial two, after two top offs, it was working like a fright train. I cleared my schedule for the day and from 10 AM I vaped non-stop until 2 AM the next morning. I must have tried every e-liquid I owned. The juices I loved prior to the .357 I loved even more. The juices that I liked, but wasn't necessarily in love with, I love now. I have vaped with 80/20, 70/30, and 50/50 and have had very good results. The only juice I have had problems with had water as one of the ingredients. Water will cause the atty to spit and spew the juice. Make sure you use a long drip tip in case this happens to you. I would not think a medal drip tip would not be a good idea, since the atty gets very hot. I would imagine it would cause the medal DT to also get hot. As per Hanna and my own experience, dark, super sweet e-liquids cause the coils to get gunked up much quicker. If you happen to be using either dark or sweet juice, it would be a good idea to blow them out daily and drop the atty in Everclear for an hour or so more frequently. After giving mine an Everclear soak, I blow out the atty, flick it a couple of times and drop a couple of drops of plain 50% PG & 50% VG if I am going to give it a rest. If not, I just put it back on my PV and start it back up again. Prior to the HH .357, the only time I dripped was when I was trying a juice for the first time. Now, with the .357, all I want to do is drip. I have gone from a devoted fan of the eGo Tank System to DD'ing 50% of my day. When I am not dripping with a .357, I am using a 5ml Mega eGo cartomizer. All of my .357 atty's are 1.5 ohm. I either use them on my eGo 1000 mah (which Hanna recommended) or my Pearl AV at 3.4 v. Like any LR atty/carto, it drains my battery quicker than a standard resistance. I want to get at least one 2.5 ohm so I can try it on my 5v mods. At $22 each, and the potential to last several months, I don't want spend a lot of money getting every ohm they come up with. For times when it is not convenient to drip, I have gotten one of the Drip-on-Demand Kits from COV. It is a great companion to the HH .357. It does get a lot of attention when I am using it in the car. Basically it looks like a small weed pipe sitting on top of my PV, LOL. Hanna and Cisco are coming out with another "How to" video in the very near future to address some problems customers are having using this atomizer. All I can say is that once you get the hang of vaping with this atomizer, you will be spoiled. Just ask Rip Washington, he has been using one for about two weeks now. I also want to say that the Vapage 510 Hybrid is not the same atomizer as the HH. 357. The HH .357 is made with Cisco's LR 306 specs. Cisco provides Hanna with the necessary parts and Hanna and his wife Kat, make each .357 by hand. Then it goes to Sean, who tests the atomizer and primes it. The finished product then is sent to Cisco to sell on his website, AvidVaper.com. The reason they sell out so quickly is because they are not mass produced and Hanna can not make them any quicker without sacrificing quality. I hope this has helped you. If you have any additional questions, just let me know.

  9. This has disaster written all over it! I'm not an engineer, but it looks like something I could put together after a trip to Home Depot and The Tractor Supply Store. And I think it would cost me less than what they are asking for this contraption. And, I concur with Christopher!
  10. Dave, I know I have a set of stick batteries and a charger that will take 510 connections. If I am not able to make the meet Saturday, I will send them with Bill.
  11. Just taking care of my BFF's!
  12. Hey DayVape, VaporKings still has the bulk option for the Boge carto, reduced price for 10 or more. Plus the discount code VTALK15 for 15% off. After shipping, it comes out to about $1.02 per carto.
  13. White Rose Vapers Club August Meet-Up Saturday August 27, 2011 5:00 PM Sorry for the delay in posting this month, it’s been a busy month! Since the weather is nice, we are having the August vape meet-up outside. Rob and Kelly, from Blue Mist Vaping, have invited us to their home this month. The address is: 119 S. Duke St York, PA 17401 The location is basically right around the corner from where the previous vape meets have been held, Cobblestone’s Restaurant. Rob and Kelly will be providing the grilled items. We have been asked to bring a side dish, dessert, or any picnic fare to be shared and whatever you would like to drink (alcohol or non-alcohol). Rob & Kelly have some chairs, but more are needed. So if you have chairs you can bring, it would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has a canopy that we could use for shade or cover if it rains, please contact me at the email below. We are still working on the parking details, so please check our website, before the meet, for more information. www.whiterosevapersclub.com I am asking everyone to RSVP. Since our hosts will be providing the grilled food, I will need an accurate headcount. Also, the White Rose Vapers Club has grown the last couple of months (Yeah!) and we may need to find a new location to accommodate our size. If you know in advance you will be attending, please remember to RSVP every month. I am not saying that if you do not RSVP you cannot come. We want everyone, who can make the monthly vape meets, to come and enjoy themselves. If you need more info please contact info@whiterosevapersclub.com Brandon
  14. Going on 3 weeks with the HH .357 atomizer and loving it. I never though I would be a dripper!
  15. Dave you got me on the fried apple! I sure hope to see you Saturday night and bring the fried apple with you so I can taste it.
  16. Hey Lovie, Congrats on your new ProVari! It looks like you just whizzed right over the starter mods and went straight for the big gun! I am so jealous and happy for you.
  17. Wow, this is the first time I was on time for the party, but the party was late, LOL Welcome and congrats on a year Moradiss!
  18. Viper Ron, my best guess is "No". I still think my idea about adding a room onto the house is the best. I'm looking at the big picture, LOL!
  19. This might help you cleaning your tank atty One warning, if you are cleaning a LR tank atty, doing the dry burn to the point that all the coils are orange, can pop your coils. When cleaning my LR ones, I am very careful when doing the dry burn, as to not allow the coils to stay orange longer than a second. Also, I don't use a toothpick to knock the ash off the coils. I use a small brush that is used to clean between teeth braces. The bristles are very thin and less likely to damage the coils. Good luck!
  20. Congrats Wardog, and also to your brother! I too am a eGo Tank lover! Vicki from Cignot, has a great video on cleaning your eGo Tank atty When you notice your draw getting tighter, flavor and vapor starting to diminish, and you start pulling juice into your mouth piece from the atty, clean your tank atty. Make sure when you are inserting your cart into the atty, that it is down all the way. If its not, you will have a leaking issue. Also, if the cart cap is not on all the way (listen for the click), leaking will be an issue. Cignot's carries the silicone caps for the tank carts. They are super cheap and I find that by using the silicone caps as apposed to the hard plastic ones, your cart will last much longer. Prying the cap off over time will weaken the thin plastic around the top of the cart. Once the thin plastic is cracked or chipped, leaking will be an issue. If you make sure to wipe off any juice from the top of the cart and dry the lip of the silicone cap before reinserting the cart, you are going to get a fantastic seal between the cap and the cart. Oh, just one more thing, with the silicone caps, it is a must to remove the rubber tag from the cap the first time you pierce it. If you put the cap on an empty cart first and pierce it, remove the cart, take the cap off and use a pair of tweezers and pull the tag off. Here is to hoping your vaping journey is as pleasurable as mine!
  21. MA, No doubt your body is detoxifying and your taste-buds are kicking into gear. As others have noted, the mix of PG and VG, and the vendors % of flavorings are going to effect how your juice tastes. When you first quit analogs and start to vape, it takes anywhere from a month or two (depending on how much you smoked a day and for how many years) for your body to rid itself of toxins. IMO, you should be able to expect your taste-buds to be functioning at 100% in about two months. Until then, and as a rule of thumb, you should buy sample bottles of juice to see if you like it first. Taste is subjective, so what one person thinks is the greatest thing since peanut-butter, another will find it less than satisfying. Also, some e-liquids get better with age. If you get a juice that just doesn't cut it for you, put it in a cool dark place for a couple of weeks and let it steep. After steeping, try it again, it might taste better. Also do the same with the juices you get in the first two months of vaping. Once your taste-buds wake up, juices are going to take different. On an average e-liquids, if stored properly, will last 2 years. Now I haven't been vaping for two years, so I can't contest to this. Maybe a well seasoned vaper can comment on this subject? Now, here is another reason you maybe noticing a decrease in juice flavor. If your atomizer is gunked up with old juice, the coils can not get hot enough. When you notice your draw is getting tighter, flavor and vapor reduction, its time to clean your atty. As a rule of thumb, its a good idea to blow out your atty once a day and between juice changes. Also, thicker juices, darker colored e-liquids, and super sweet flavors have a tendency to clog up your atomizer quicker. Since I don't know what e-cig battery you are using and what method (device) you are using to heat your e-liquid, I can't comment on whether or not that has any cause that would change your juice taste. I do know that the ohm's of your atty will change the taste of your juice. So if you are using a LR atty and change to a standard atty, using the same juice, it is going to taste different between the two atty's. I hope this might help you.
