  1. Ok people. Nothing here to see. Please return to your residence. Thank you, it's all ok.

(a cop told me that once when a guy with a gun was on the loose in my neighborhood. More on that later. maybe)

I guess I just don't look at eCigs as a "do this rather than smoke" kinda thing.

I must confess; but I must first say, I never led you on to believe otherwise. So here it is. I am BI.

There. YES. I SAID IT. I do both. AC/DC, double my dates, turn and look both ways, and yes, I avoid Korean fermented cabbage like the plague (another story there).

Give yourself that kind of a break. It feels good. (well, maybe I could have left the cabbage part out).

  2. Hi johns. The VT store is pretty amazing. They replaced an eGo passthru for me even before I mailed the defective one back!!

And, believe it our not, the next day I accidently washed my robe with my replacement IN IT'S POCKET.

Kinda funny when I realized what I had done and opened the lid of the washing machine.... it looked like there was a flashlight down there! (pretty easy to find). Of course, the atty had popped but the eGo P/T dried out and STILL works like a champ to this very day.

    Stick with VT. They care.

  3. Cartomizers are an Atty/cart all in one.

Beans is right, and there are a LOT of different cartomizers out there for your setup. The best will require a .50 cent syringe from Wallgreens/CVS but will vape for hours, refillable a dozen times and last you 4-5 days each. (and, I'll keep pushing these until Chris tells me to stop! I just wish he'd stock them)

  4. Is there a name for the white cottony material in a cart? How many times can it be reused? Also do they sell that white material anywhere? I am on disabiliy income and I am just trying to save a little money because I can't afford to keep buying all the time. I am so happy that I quit smoking but this can be a bit expensive as well. I also don't seem to get alot of time out of a cart and I am worried about that. Seems I should be able to go out for 3 or 4 hours and not worry about changing a cart.. Or am I wrong about that?

For better TH, go for a higher mg nic in your juice. If youy're using an eGo battery, try using http://www.vaporking...mizer-blank.htm

They can last you 4-5 days each.

  5. i have a question in relation to this as well... i have ego 650 with wall usb charger can i charge the pass through with this as well?

I charge my eGo battery PTs on anything that has a USB connection... iPhone charger, Blackberry charger, from my PC, my TV and even xBox.

They keep on going and going and going. :2guns:(but, not sure that answered your question)

  6. Kudos to Johnson Creek for doing the right thing. I wonder how many USA juice suppliers are willing to show where their juice is bottled. My guess is quite a few of them would provide a tour of their kitchen table or garage.

Well, when I start DIY, I'm going to keep the FDA out of it... totally.

My wife freaks out when I put gloves and a hair net on. :detective:

  7. I guess I didn't realize how much nicotine would be needed to satisfy my want for it. In the morning I'd been going through two full, new cartomizers on my 25-30 minute drive to work. This past Thursday, the only good liquids I had left were some 16mg ones from VT. So I loaded up four cartos and drove off to work. And used only one! Over the course of the weekend, I don't think I've gone through nearly as much liquid as I have been in the past when I vaped 12 or 10 or 9 or 6. When I smoked, which was over six months ago now, I smoked American Spirit "lights" (the yellow box). I guess I got more nic from them than I thought I did at only half a pack a day. I didn't realize how much a difference 16 or 18 would make over 12 or 10. Amazing. So, I guess the point of my post is, if you've been chain vaping at 6 to 12mg, try a higher nicotine level.... within reason, though, folks, don't be dangerous!

Aimee, do what feels good. And, it's all good.

    You're sweet, Gary

  8. I guess everyone eventally finds what is right for them. I'm been happy with my standard eGo batteries but tried all kinds of carts and cartos.

Just 15 minutes ago I bought another 20 HUGE MEGA eGo cartomizers from VaporKing for under $50. Here's my sales pitch:

(eGo MEGA empty/blank cartomizer with flat tip mouthpiece - Genuine JoyeTech!) March 18, 2011

These will hold a FULL 3 ML of juice; I kid you not. Especially after having been refilled several times so that the filler is then more compressed.

If you fill too quickly, yes, the juice will overflow from the fill port and then drip down through the air tubes on the side (so don't do that! Fill slowly). Plus, it is a MUST to spin these, at least 2 to 3 times during the fill process. It's easy.

Never a leak while vaping and lasts 1-2 hours HEAVY vaping. I refill them 6-8 times in about 2-3 days. Easy to tell when it needs more juice.

I'll never buy a tank, map, cart or anything else.

  9. Well.... hmmmm, not the best idea then, but some kind of light and temperature regulation would probably be necessary for longer term storage. Any ideas?

Just a dark, cool place; drawer or a less used cabinet. Should last 1+ years. None of mine will ever been around that long.

  10. Ecigs to come from China but the profit created does stay in the states. It also helps supports this community and I thank everyone who supports not only Vapor Talk but any US supplier.

US suppliers use the post office which helps keep their job, purchase bags and tape etc which helps someone else keep their job, we pay servers costs which helps some tech keep his job. When you purchase direct sure you save a few bucks but I mean seriously, you where spending far more on cigarettes. But people will choose to do what they do.

I can say that the more customers shop China the harder it is to stay afloat. But hey that's economics. I can say if we have another large seizure or customers keep moving over to the Chinese sites, I've already told my wife I'll step out and shut this place down. Last year we lost so much money I had to cash out my 401k to keep this place afloat.

Someone mentioned "cartomziers are just rebranded.." Well so is your refrigerator, iPod, cellphone computer etc. That's how business works. The difference is that consumers have more information in this industry than others thanks to forums like this. We don't sensor it. Though we could if we wanted to. When you purchase toilet paper for 5 bucks at Wal Mart, trust me, Wal Mart didn't pay more than 1 dollar for that bag. The mark up pays for all the overhead and of course profit.

e liquid that costs a "whopping" 7 bucks and last 3-4 days even longer for some. A pack of cigarette is 6 bucks and lasts maybe a day....

I think this is why we want to stay with you Chris, and to help your business grow.

You are a good man and father, as well as a Great American my friend.

Thank you for all the hard work and efforts. I certainly appreciate you and what you do.

    Gary

  11. I only have 4 posts and get "[#103139] You do not have permission to view this forum."

Now I should be bale to get there with 5.... I'll check. (and btw, thank you for my #5 opportunity!)

    Gary

Alright... YES! #5 did it. Now I'll be reading all night, and probably buy a lot of good stuff.

Now i f only I had the complete recipe for Dulcis, I could be a billionaire!

  12. You are so correctJolly.

And I truly appreciate you, and people like Chris, who are taking the many risks involved in providing us with such good products.

We need more young entrepreneurs such as yourself, and a government that is willing to allow you to contribute.
