I think I posted a pic of my tip here somewhere before, but here it is again. I really like this one, stainless steel, and really looks great with the flat black Ego, but would look good with any color. It has a quality look to it, machined very well.

I averaged just under a pack a day. I think what helped me a lot is that I was ready to quit analogs anyway, and was counting the days until my Ego kit arrived. When it did, the first thing I did was drip about 3 drops in a LR atomizer, and took my first long, slow vape... After I saw a giant, good tasting plume of vapor exit my mouth... well, that was it. I knew right then and there my tobacco days were over, and haven't had a analog since. To be honest though, I did think of analogs about 4 weeks after starting to vape, but I think that's because for a while I was stuck with only a couple of juice flavors from a sample pack that I really didn't care for at all, actually I hated the flavors. But all is good now that our favorite juice finally arrived. For me a big part of this is to make sure you have all your favorite stuff at hand all the time, don't run out of anything. Oh, I passed another test to.. shortly after I started vaping, I was on my way to work, and took a hit from my cartomized Ego. The taste all of a sudden was getting real funky.. by the time I got to work I realized my carto took a total dump, and I didn't bring any spares with me... oops... I went all day at work without a vape, or a analog, with my workmate smoking by my side much of the day. It wasn't easy, but I did it. I may have broken the speed limit here and there on my way home though to get that fresh LR carto installed lol

Yeah my g/f noticed the same thing. She recently got juice that was 100% VG. Right away she complained that the filler in the cartos just weren't sucking up the juice... took forever to fill, seems to be the thickness of the juice. I had her try my 50/50 mix, all is good now.

And I agree with that! A really nice helpful crew here, no doubt... I will give Jeffery a email, and tell him our experience. We just ordered more Silver Leaf Menthol from Puresmaoker. We will probably get a bottle of 0 nic Menthol to add to the wordup juice, got to use it somehow, just to much to waste. We have a total of 100ml of the stuff. So as I've mentioned several times earlier, me and my g/f have been menthol smokers, and like most people, are looking for decent deals on juice when you become total vapers. We originally got our menthol juice from puresmokers, called "Silver leaf Menthol" which is pretty good stuff in our opinion, (actually, the best so far) but rather expensive for the amount you get, compared to other places, so I thought I try a different place to get more juice for the buck, with good reviews behind it first before buying. Since we heard good things about word up flavors, we went ahead and ordered bigger bottles to last us awhile for once. They have many menthol flavors to choose from, we picked the Salem flavor, since that is what we used to smoke. If you love menthol, don't get this... even if you don't like menthol, don't get this lol, at best it tastes like a stale Marlboro Light, but still not as good... seriously, not only is it hard to even detect any trace of menthol, whatever is left over is... I don't know what it is, but it isn't that good. Since many here seem to order from there, is there any recourse for us? I only dripped a couple of drops in a LR atomizer for a taste test, knew right away it was wrong, so can we return the two bottles? My g/f agrees, this ain't right! It sucks to be stuck with so much juice that you just don't care for... any similar experiences? If so did you return to try another flavor? Get money back? I'm now vaping juice flavors that I didn't care for from a sample pack we got when we first started vaping. They all taste pretty good compared to this.

I got this optional stainless steel drip tip already from puresmokers, looks great and I can put it on atties or cartos. I just hope the new cartos you speak of have a longer life. Geeze, sorry the pic is gigantic lol..

Yep, 43 drops would give you some 'gurgling' I would suspect. That's a lot juice. I never tried the "Condom" method of filling though, I just keep dripping in the filler until it looks drenched enough. I do wait a few seconds for it to absorb before adding more.

Sounds like some more research and development is in order for a new, better heat resistant filler material? It seems thats what keeps the cartos life so short, at least it seems the material is usually the first thing to go, making the rest of it become unusable.

Came real close to getting the V3 for my first PV, but got the EGO. Quite happy with it, but would like to know what you think of the V3 after you've used it some more... may still get it one day.

Seems there's more issues with carto's than I originally thought. Thanks for all the suggestions on fixes!

So, currently I'm using a LR carto that has lasted almost 4 days so far, with no signs of going south just yet. I'm wondering why they all can't be like this. Full, good tasting vapor as if it was brand new. Most of the ones I've used... (been vaping for a month now) lasted about 2 days at best, and during this time I have also gotten two that were no good right from the start, I mean they were nasty, had to toss them after the first couple of toots, something just wasn't right with them. About 2 weeks ago, I was lucky enough to get another good one that lasted like 4 days... Why does the performance/life seem to vary so much with these? I've haven't been changing any procedure or anything since I started vaping... is there a quality control issue with these possibly? just wondering if anyone has any thoughts, or similar experiences...

Great idea, and why didn't I think of looking into that, I've bought from Cheaper than Dirt several times for certain accesories for my high power/performance air guns... (pellet guns) good tip! Many good ideas here have been thrown forth here, thx for for the reply's

Good ideas... I'm kinda leaning towards the mag/flashlight idea... yeah I'm gonna look into that...

So I was thinking what would be nice, is to have some kind of little case that would clip to your belt, like people have for their cell phones, Anyone have any solutions or ideas? Don't like the idea of pulling it in and out of my pants pocket all the time, and it wouldn't feel right, a belt case of some kind would make for quick easy access, and storage for on the go when working or walking about..

I just got my new Ego, and ordered two 5 packs of LR Cartos. Without really knowing what to get, (first time vaper) I made a wise lucky move by getting these, they are 2.0 LR's, and so far, it's the only way to go for me... really nice!

Yes, I've heard the same thing several times, that LR cartos/atty's are a good combo with 3.7v. That's why I ordered 2 five packs of LR cartos. I'll know soon enough how it all works, my mail tracking shows that me and g/f should get our new Ego's delivered today. (first time vapers) But is it true that LR cartos/atty's don't last quite as long as standard ones? Do they burn out quicker since they run a bit hotter? Don't mean to jack here, I figured the OP would like to hear a answer on this to if he/she is interested in going LR as well

Interesting, the one's over NY look very similar to the one's over Russia... and on the same day. They also look very similar to the ones me and four other friends saw one summer night over Los Angeles in 1989. The 4 of us were hanging outside my friends front yard, shooting the breeze, and having some cold ones. It soon became apparent that Al was rather quiet, not saying anything. I looked over towards him, to see him looking up into the night sky with a puzzled look on his face, and then he lifted his arm, and pointed upwards. I looked up, to see two bright pinkish orange sphere's darting around in the sky... just zipping around one another, almost as if they were playing a game of tag with each other. This lasted for about 5 seconds, when one of them zipped off to who knows where, leaving the other by itself. By this time, we were all looking up at this. These objects were completely silent, no noise at all. We were right next to the garage, the garage door was open, with the light on inside. The light bleeding out from the garage was making it a bit difficult to take a better look into the dark sky, so I walked away from it out into the middle of the street for a better view. The remaining object was straight up over my head, just sitting perfectly in one spot. I was trying to judge the size of this thing. It was either rather small, and at a lower altitude, or much bigger, and way up there, it looked to me like the latter, a very large object, that was WAY high up. I looked at this stationary self lit object for maybe 10 seconds, and it just dissappeared in a instant... like someone just turning a light off, no movement anywhere, no trail to where it went... just POOF.. gone. We were all BLOWN AWAY by what we just witnessed, I mean I was talking about it for days, telling everyone I knew what we saw. I have no idea what those things were, or where they came from, but as far as I know, we have nothing on this planet that can do the things that these did. I thought about it all night, it was hard for me to sleep... did I actually see space ships controlled by intelligent beings from some other galaxy? I guess I'll never know, but it was a night I won't forget anytime soon.

@ Roober... I've taken many videos in this place, I used to do it all the time a few years ago, just bring the camera in, and just walk around the bar and shoot 2-3 minute videos randomly around the place, and go home to see if I got anything strange. This kind of thing certainly didn't happen every time I shot a video, it took a lot of them, and a lot of time to go through them frame by frame. I also don't go there as often as I used to, but next time I go, I'll bring my camera along and see if any spirits still wanna say hi lol.

Here's another image I found while going thru videos I shot there. Again, I would go frame by frame through the entire video, to see if anything weird would show. Most people I show this to see the same general thing... a face. I see a man's face, with dark eye's, nose, mustache, lower lip, chin. The first image is how it looked originaly, and the second image I played with some contrast/gamma controls to try and bring it out a little clearer. The face is kind of transparent, you can see the bar's TV on the wall in the upper right hand corner.

It's a classic in many ways... it's not uncommon for the spirit of a person that is very attached to something they had when living to want to "hang around" something that was so important to them, in this case, a house that meant a lot to the old man... BINGO Brian... As you can see in this photo, I saw the same thing, and highlighted it as well in a pink box, but I didn't wanna throw this in with my original post, sometimes people just don't see the same things, or in the same way, but YES, in only ONE frame, it looks like a young child between me and Michele, wearing white clothing. When I went back to the bar, I did my best to try and estimate where this 'child' would have been from where I was sitting. It would have been only about 5 ft away from me, and be maybe about 3 ft tall. I enlarged that section of the image here... I'll take it a bit further, and say it looks like a young girl or boy, looking down at a open book he or she is holding lol. But for this to only show fully in one frame, means it only lasted for a fraction of a fraction of a second. I'm just really glad someone else noticed the same thing I've noticed a long time ago, without even having to point it out! Just really kinda bizzare isn't it?
